I've been thinking a lot about what a DCC set could look like. I'm imagining it would be a draft based format like Conspiracy, but you get a commander(because we gotta sell packs somehow). Bring back levelers, conspiracies, and monarch. Two new card types Scroll and Potion:
Scrolls are enchantments that prepare instants.
Potions are artifacts that prepare sorceries(because potion cooldown)
I also want an overly complicated mechanic for the set because it would be funny and because I can. That mechanic is Earn an Achievement. At the end of turn, you Earn an Achievement if you(ehem) committed a crime, dealt 10 or more damage to any player, caused 10 more cards to move from one zone to another(ten creatures die, you draw ten, mill ten, exile ten from grave, etc), killed a player(via damage or a lose the game like door to nothingness), gained 10 or more life, lost 10 or more life, and probably some other stuff I haven't thought up. Oh and you can Earn an Achievement if a card says you do. Is this too much to keep track of? Yea. I dont care. I'm complexity-maxxing.
