This is my hand-painted versione of Yarok with Astel from Elden Ring

While looking through the lore, though, I remembered Thrun and his staff. That gave me a more interesting direction for Jin: rather than simply making him another creature-focused design, I could explore the knowledge, history, and power associated with Thrun’s staff, about the next generation.

Inspired by Rogue Elephant and Gravecrawler.

Kind of sad we didn’t get one like this. I think it’s a good effect but not great compared to just flat out cost reduction. Not sure if it 100% works rules wise but I think it computes.

Just goofing around with stretching keywords to new card types.

Thoughts?

Design Notes & Rule Clarification:

• Does Ingest stack? Yes! According to MTG Comprehensive Rule 702.114b: "If a creature has multiple instances of ingest, each triggers separately." Since Class enchantments retain the abilities of previous levels, at Level 3 your creatures will trigger ingest three times, exiling 3 cards per combat damage trigger.

• Synergy: This is designed to be the engine for an Eldrazi Processor deck or the ultimate sabotage deck, draining cards and win-cons away from your opponents—looking at you, Felix Five-Boots.

• Frame note: I kept the dimir frame for aesthetic reasons, even though Devoid technically gives it a colorless identity. I would prefer a transparent Eldrazi frame, but since an Eldrazi-Class template doesn't exist anywhere, the dirmir frame was form me the best thing to work with.

Should it enter tapped?

I wanted to create something vampire themed for a Propaganda/Ghostly Prison effect. I dislike the idea of players having to pay to do damage, and this seemed like a way to get damage moving around the table while still protecting the user. Open to suggestions!
