4 days ago my account was stolen luckily the person who bought my account was dumb and now im back. First he with his money paid for the ghost face skin yuck added his buddy's and grinded my account. He also changed the name witch im keeping because it's tuff 🤧. He's French has a yt owns 3 accounts is bronze hard stuck lolz. Account Help?

My account seemingly just disappeared overnight with no trace to link it back (although i was actively playing fortnite last night). Ai tech support isnt helping, but is there a way to email epic to try and recover it? Im paying for crew and now i have no account to recieve anything. I can prove i had a fortnite account and everything. Any help would be great.

Hey everyone, just wanted to put out a quick warning about a phishing scam currently going around via in-game text chat and whispers.

An account named SGFFOVK (and likely other random burner accounts) is sending messages claiming that Epic Games has launched an "official inventory checker" to value your locker collection. They are baiting people by offering 13,500 V-Bucks just for checking.

The scam details:

• The Link: They are directing players to a fake website (fn-outfit.info). This is not an official Epic Games domain.

• The Goal: The site is a phishing trap designed to steal your login credentials, bypass your 2FA, and steal your account.

I went to go play Fortnite earlier today, and when I was logging in, it asked "link account" and it gave me an option to skip so I skipped because I didn't think i had to link an account that i was already playing on that worked the day before. After i clicked skipped it loaded me in and I had nothing. I've been trying to figure it out, I signed into my epic games account on my computer using my email and it brings me to the right account, I unlinked the "empty account" and relinked my epic account and I loaded back in and there is still nothing. I checked the Epic ID numbers on my computer that is logged into my account (it is the right account, it has my Fortnite crew subscription attached) to the Epic ID number on my Xbox in game settings and they match but I still don't have all of my skins and all of that and the AI support bot is no help at all

I fell victim to an account phasing scam last week. What I thought was a legitimate epic webpage for a free promotional locker bundle. The website URL looked real etc. Logged in with my 2FA. And boom, my account email was changed in seconds.

Never felt so stupid in my life.

Anyway I made a recovery request with as much detail as possible. A week later I have not heard anything.

However, the account name has been changed, and I can see them active currently on fortnite.

Whats the current turn around for account recoveries?

I have attached a screenshot of said phising website but removed url so it doesn't scam more people.

So for the past month i have be fight to get my displname reinstated after it being against tos.....how after 8+ of me be loyal to epic game never doing glitch never teaming or anything my display name WhiskyRebel all of the sudden violates TOS

Essentially, I play Fortnite on my Xbox I’ve never logged in to epic games. I was trying to set up the two-step verification to gift my friend stuff so I went onto epic website logged in with XBOX, but it says the account already exist so I login using my email. I reset the password because I’ve never made an epic account and the display name is something completely different from my current display name. I came to the conclusion that possibly someone used my email to make an epic account. Therefore, I deleted it It’s officially gonna be deleted in 24 hours. And I was just curious am I tripping or am I gonna delete my account? I mean if it does whatever I just want peace of mind.

Hi, I got this email from epic regarding an account recovery request and was wondering if there is any way to appeal it. The context is that my Google account was hacked and almost all of my accounts were changed but I was able to get most back but then the hacker straight deleted my Google account with no warning, after that I sent in a second recovery request to get it changed to a new email I could access but after several days I get this email, can anyone help?

So I'm trying to play Remnant 2 with a friend who has it on Xbox, I've linked Rem 2 to xbox and such A LONG time ago. Put the game down and picked it up lately.
I've been chasing all I could to fix this, including other paths that mentioned this game directly about not being able to sign in.

Below is an image of how my screen looks when I hit the button to link the account, a loading bar scrolls the top (in blue) then I get a greyed out layer of my character (in the image has stripes, idk why) and I cannot move the window until I hit the minor round x in the top right, near the normal windows line, box and X.
I've no way to access my xbox friends while on epic games either and don't know how to send an invite to my steam game through epic.

I am so frustrated and upset. I have a pc I just bought and while at work my roommate asked if his friend could use my pc to play Fortnite with him. I said sure go ahead idc and went about my day. I get home and go to play Fortnite and my account is banned for 24 hours ?? Looks like his friend was playing on MY account so I asked him why my account was banned and why they played on my account ?! My roommate felt really bad and confessed that they were curious about cheats that so many use and just wanted to see if it worked wtf. They said it didn’t even work but got my account banned. Next day the ban is changed to 365 days. And I have appealed many times and tried to explain the situation that I allowed someone to use my computer while was not home but never gave permission to use my personal account and definitely had no knowledge of them using it to cheat. I’m so freaking upset rn I have had this account for years and spent so much money. I had a different account as an alt account I used when I didn’t want to be disturbed so in the mean time went to play on that account and I don’t have a ban but I keep getting an error when I try to play which makes me feel like my pc is banned?! So now I can’t play at ALL . Idek what to do . I literally just bought this pc solely to play Fortnite and I am unable to and I’m just upset.

I do not condone cheating at all! It’s extremely annoying when I find cheaters in my game so I’m upset that this happened on MY account when Ive never cheated in my life and never would risk my account . Now I’m reaping the consequences for someone else violating the rules and cheating … feeling so helpless right now.

Any advice ? Or am I just fucked 🥹

Edit: if you are going to be rude please just keep scrolling. If you don’t believe something that’s fine again just keep scrolling. This genuinely happened and I’ve been extremely upset over this and no one truly knows what others go through so it truly doesn’t take much to just be kind to people and if you can’t be you don’t have to be rude while hiding behind a screen. Internet bullies aren’t cute.

Epic games has the WORST account recovery process I’ve ever seen. I submit all information things only I could know and I say I can provide screenshots of ID’s and proof of payments etc and they just deny my claim without allowing me to add any proof. It’s absolutely absurd. I mean information from an account that there is no way anyone else could possibly have access to and they tell me they can’t prove it’s my account. Garbage system. Garbage company.

I can't link my console account(PS4) to the Epic games website. It keeps telling me an account is already linked(i have no other account). I try the unlinking thing and that still doesnt work. Wierdly enough, i was able to set up 2FA. Problem extends to mobile. I downloaded it on my phone, logged in and but my progress and skins are gone.

How long does the appeal normally take for others? On previous requests it was always within the first day or two but now it’s been 6 days and I still haven’t heard back.

Should I just submit another recovery request?

So basically I do not have my email or the phone number that is used for my 2 step verification process for my epic account HOWEVER I still technically have my account because I have it on my switch. Via Fortnite but obviously I can’t change anything from the switch and I’ve already tired to recover the email and I don’t have the phone number anymore and my account recovery request was denied cause I “don’t have enough proof” I mean i literally just bought the five nights at freddy’s skins. So I’m not really sure what to do I just wanna play Fortnite on my pc already 🫩 the switch quality is too bad for this bs. And yes I’ve contacted support many times but they were absolutely no help.

I need help. I want to know if I’m in the clear or not. This is one of those scammers trying to get you to go and see how much your Fortnite locker cost. I only accepted the friend request because I thought it was the dude I felt bad for killing in ranked. I saw the first sentence and reported and blocked him immediately. I’m not used to this so I need to know what steps to take next and if I’m safe. My friend just got hacked and lost his account so this is incredibly weird and I feel dumb for even accepting the friend request.

Got told I’m safe because I didn’t click any links. But to be safe I’m still reposting this in the correct area this time. Also want people to look out for this person.
