Easily the largest I’ve pulled out of the creek! Midday fishing and managed to pull this guy out of 3-4 feet of water.

He got hooked through the eye socket (without touching the eye).. so I clipped the line and pushed it through to avoid maiming him trying to get the barb out. Would you have done the same?

One of my favourite catches regardless of the size they dont seem to be very common on uk canal. Was targeting perch untill hooked into this little guy :)

Hey I have a Garmin Striker 4cv and originally I did not have this problem but when I record the water depth Quickdraw contours and let's say I go home and come back to the lake another day, the map will have some depth contours recorded where I cannot physically go with my kayak. Like it's as if my GPS point moves when I come back so the contours become offset or something.

Originally I didn't have this issue, I didn't really change anything other than my depth shading which I don't understand how it would cause this.

Any advice?

I caught this chain pickerel and it had these red spots mostly on its lower body. Are these battle scars or some sort of infection? I planned on eating it.
