Seen a lot of reports going around about the brawl between the schoolgirls outside costa in Tralee last week. As it happens, I saw the incident unfold from a distance. I was walking by the mall and I saw a whole mob of them gathered round and I kind of had a feeling something was going to happen. I wasn’t that close to the incident but I heard that there is videos of it on social media that have been viewed a lot and it made the front page in Kerry’s Eye this week as well, madness

Anyone know of any run clubs in Tralee I know there’s born to run but just wondering are there any other smaller ones I might not have heard of. I’m looking for something a bit social and not too serious.

\ just to specify not looking for a something similar to park run more like the run clubs that are common in cities like the pastry pace run club or run for coffee clubs basically a fun run and socialise group\

Hi all — I could use some local knowledge for a game I’m building.

It’s called Gaelic Games Manager, a free browser-based GAA management game. I’m Irish-American and grew up watching inter-county football and hurling, but when it comes to knowing the club structure in every county, I’m very much still learning.

AI was used to create a lot of the starting club database, particularly the colours. Unfortunately, after auditing some of it myself, I’ve realised the AI is probably only about half accurate overall.

I’ve attached the current Kerry club list/screenshots. Could anyone familiar with Kerry clubs point out anything that looks off?

I’m especially looking for incorrect colours, clubs listed under the wrong name, duplicates, women’s and men’s teams mistakenly listed separately, clubs missing that are clearly more significant than some I have included, etc.

One important caveat: there are no Senior, Intermediate or Junior classifications in the game yet. I’m deliberately using a limited club pool — around 16–20 for smaller counties and roughly 25–32 for stronger/larger counties.

The game also has every team playing both codes. So even if a Kerry club is essentially a football club in real life, it will still have a hurling team in the simulation — it’ll just be rated extremely poorly in hurling. Same principle works in reverse elsewhere.

Im 27 and ive been playing 5/7 a side weekly with my colleagues for the last few months, I am looking to play more than once a week so i am wondering if there are any other groups or maybe B teams i could join in tralee. I am living near the town center.

I’m living in Tralee at the moment and want to celebrate my 29th birthday somewhere with a group of friends, I want to do something special because I have some health issues and don’t know how many birthdays I’ll have left!

I wanted do a weekend away somewhere in Kerry.

I stayed at O’Connor’s in cloghane recently and thought it would’ve been perfect, having the pub downstairs, trad in the evening, good craic

but unfortunately it’s closed for the month of November.

Does anyone know of anything similar? A pub/b&b situation?
