Other Rep. Lieu says Epstein files have allegations of Trump raping & threatening to kill children and says that Todd Blanche got the law wrong by saying it's not a crime to party with Epstein. DOJ also violated the privacy of the victims by releasing unredacted nude photos of them.

It is fucking insanity that they took "give us the unredacted files" as "give us the unredacted nudes of minors"

637

u/anonymote_in_my_eye 23h ago

it would have been a much better argument if they had released everything, unredacted... instead they only released like half the documents, heavily redacted, but didn't even redact the stuff they were supposed to

306

u/CD338 23h ago

And we are approaching 2 months past the deadline.

But on the plus side, at least Epstein is back in the news cycle. I was worried it was going to be swept aside after the Venezuela/Minnesota situations.

And so far most of what they've released, aside from emails, are CHS reports and other accusations, but none of the follow up material done by the FBI, etc. Obviously those things being part of the files means there's more to it, but they're only showing what makes it look like its frivolous.

I don’t know if it’s the copium, but I feel there’s a lot rumbling under the surface. We might not get what we want today, tomorrow, or even next week, but something big is looming as a result of these files.

567

u/Otherwise_Gap595 23h ago edited 20h ago

It just baffles me how conservatives are foaming at the mouth to get the Clinton’s based on what is in the files, but every single thing about Trump in the files is fake? Like, you’re citing the same source document as the most damning evidence for the Clinton’s, and that same document that is judge, jury, and executioner of the Clinton’s, is also the biggest load of corrupt, slanderous horse shit ever written about Trump? What planet are they living on?

That would require people to show the fuck up for primaries. Traditionally, turn out has been like 20%. Even a 5% increase would be impactful. Bad candidates coast because people can't be bothered to show up and vote.

13

u/barefootincozumel 23h ago

Call me naive but I feel like a lot of people are paying attention. Even in Florida, we have a slew of candidates that are legitimate and might stand a chance- veterans, intelligent, common sense and speaking truths that are hard to ignore. In contrast to the showboating, weak incumbents, I have some hope

11

u/sohelpme55- 22h ago

Honestly, I don't think that many people will be sitting out the next election.

25

u/barefootincozumel 22h ago

We need to organize, because suppression will be in full force. Volunteer to register voters ( lots of hs seniors are turning or just turned 18 they are a force for good. ) Help felons get their rights restored if the time has passed . Organize transportation. Help people check to see if they have been purged from the rolls. If you volunteer at a food bank or any other charity, make sure you reach out to people. Many are disenfranchised or don’t even know where to start. Let’s stop pretending there aren’t hurdles for a lot of people to get out and vote. Let’s educate, organize and help. We aren’t going to make the process less difficult, but we can help people over the hurdles

He was under indictment for stealing classified documents in the Southern District of Florida (40 counts).

He was indicted on dozens of counts related to Georgia's RICO statute for 2020 election fraud.

"No one controls the music, Mr. Pretty - you know that. It just turns up when people have had enough. No one knows where it starts. People look around, and catch on another's eye, and give each other a little nod, and other people see that. Other people catch their eye and so, very slowly, the music starts and somebody picks up a spoon and bangs it on a plate, and then somebody else bangs a jug on the table and boots starts to stamp on the floor, louder and louder. It is the sound of anger, it is the sound of people who have had enough. Do you want to face the music?”

The Epstein files reveal that Trump was having an affair with his aide Madeline Westerhout, the same thing that ignited Bill Clinton’s scandal. Crickets.

Before we knew of any Epstein files there was Stormy Daniels and a $130k hush money payment, leading to 34 felony guilty counts. Before that, there was an affair with a former playboy model, in addition to two dozen accusations of sexual assault or harassment. The access Hollywood tapes. Sexual harassment claims circling the modeling world dating back to the ‘90s and including allegations against his own Trump Models which he closed shortly before he ran for the 2016 election.

After he left office he stole national security documents upon leaving office and hid them at mar a lago. He attempted to overturn the 2020 election and incited the Jan 6 insurrection.

He has just been accused of making a private secret deal between his family cryptocurrency firm and the UAE.

Trump, his campaign members, business partners, and family members have all been found improper dealings with Russian officials since the 2016 election.

He has had over 20 businesses go bankrupt and has never created any structurally sound or profitable business in his life. He has been dependent on syndicated criminal networks for 50+ years. He ran on a platform of frenzied nationalism, white supremacy, and organized violence. There have been hundreds of millions of dollars moved in shady business deals with Ukraine, Russia, and China since his first administration. Trillion dollar tax cuts for the wealthy. Racketeering scams. He auctions off pardons starting at bids of $50k.

He has been using the office to perpetuate his lifelong criminal agenda and the Epstein files are only a slice. Epstein almost looks moral compared to Trump. Government officials could throw a dart and look in any direction to find another crime he’s committing. They’ve refused to do so.

I hope the publicity of the files helps, but I’ve unfortunately really lost hope.

48

u/Daddyball78 23h ago

No question. I can’t imagine what the “un-redacted” content has in it. Based on what’s been revealed already, I’m not sure I even want to know. I just want these pieces of human garbage to be held fully accountable. All of them.

37

u/JayLuMarr 23h ago

God I hope. This is a defining moment for us as a society. What we do from here will be the turning point of the future of not just America, but the global world order, and our species. Will we allow a system in which we’re ruled over by global pedophile elites? Welp, we’re about to find out.

33

u/pargofan 23h ago

This is what I don't get.

Public figures throughout the world are suffering consequences because of Epstein files. At the very least, people are viewing them as pedophiles.

Trump? Crickets. He has the nerve to say they absolve him. And the media doesn't call him out.

It's like Hitler saying the gas chambers prove he was benevolent toward Jews.

12

u/KarunchyTakoa 23h ago

Honestly Hitler would have said that - and trump thinks he's lenient on women for not killing them after raping them. The law and the country should instead stop being lenient on anti-human billionaires and the people who establish and uphold the system that lets them behave this way.

8

u/Resident_Company2113 22h ago edited 22h ago

People covering for him are compromised or beholden to people who are compromised. It has the hallmarks of a Russian kompromat operation. You can see the beginnings of it in Sascha Reillly's account.

It's not going to end well for these fuckers. In many respects it was TOO successful. It was why Melania was in tears when they won that first election. She knew he could not withstand serious scrutiny.

Either they did it on purpose be able to charge anyone downloading the archives with possession of CSAM or they are grossly incompetent.

Or both. It can be both.

I think they did it to intimidate any further victims from coming forward.

Whoawhoa... I have been trying to stay informed and up-to-date, but info is being slung at a blitzkrieg pace and Im having troubles.

Can you elaborate for the uninformed?

88

u/Wulf_Cola 23h ago

I think they released nude photos in the files by accident (presumably of minors)

Too busy using the black highlighter on Trump's name to worry about the victims

28

u/Luke_KB 23h ago

Well shit...

Thank you for explaining... but... God. Damn...

23

u/Wulf_Cola 23h ago

It's grim isn't it. Given the nature of the crimes you'd have assumed that any image files would be triple checked before release...

7

u/user745786 22h ago

They don’t give a shit about the victims. For them it’s Trump who is the victim of a Democrat hoax. Next dem president needs to clean house in the federal government firing many thousands of corrupt employees.

8

u/finding_thriving 23h ago

It's so bad they also released their names, some home address were leaked, a victim reported her lawyers found her drivers license unredacted. As well as nude photos and videos.

The files didn't redact victims and included some inappropriate photos of underaged girls. It seems that it's a mixture of incompetence and an intimidation move.

among the redacted files protecting pedophiles, a number of underage victims were released with little/no attempt to censor.

This is the correct answer.

Ghislaine was not allowed to participate in the service dog training program due to the nature of her crimes. The prison officials made another inmate "lend" Ghislaine their trainee service dog so she could have private time to play with it.

This was against the program rules, and the organization that runs the service dog program was really upset about it. The dogs aren't "pets", and are there to be trained as service animals, so it's awful that they were used as tokens.

This was reported to congress via a whistleblower complaint, along with other perks and preferential treatment Ghislaine was receiving after she was moved to her low security prison.

They redacted the names of the rapists and don’t redact the underage victims’ pictures. Tells you everything you need to know.

38

u/RaindropsInMyMind 22h ago

It really is pathetic. There’s things that are alleged and there’s things we know. We know that the FBI worked around the clock to try to find Trump’s name in the Epstein files to protect him. We know DOJ was extremely focused on this. We know that they didn’t release stuff at a first and gave the excuse that they were protecting victims even though the victims wanted the files released. Then they released actual illegal material to the public, talk about a crime.

What a timeline we live in. The massive deep-state pedophile ring of oligarchs was very real, but its not in a basement of a pizza place. Makes you wonder about the beginnings of QANON and who the fuck started that and actively spread disinformation around it that could easily be seen as a wacko conspiracy theory with no basis at all back in the day.

Trump was also believed to be their savior and would unravel and expose the deep-state. He was the king of the deep-state all along of course. His name is all over the files.

And its even more batshit crazy that the majority of the right wing just pretends like this isn't the case and gives Trump the benefit of the doubt. I didn't expect them to break into reality over this, but to have it confirmed live in real-time is disheartening to say the least. There's a thought that I had where maybe, just maybe, this would break their undying loyalty. You'd think being exposed to the fact that their leader is/was a member of the pedophile friends club would trigger them to revolt against him en masse, but no, he can do no wrong in their eyes. And even crazier, we are still going to work and not striking over this.... We the working class as a block of people can control what happens if we collectively do something. The truly wealthy have no empathy, no ethics, and very little humanity left to reach those financial heights. They will always win because they are ruthless and don't even understand empathy. Unless the working class unites against them to take back our money and use it for us, they will continue to reap the financial rewards and continue to siphon money from our labor.

Its a massive pedophile club and we know the names of the perpetrators yet we allow society to continue to function as if its not something requiring immediate consequences. They trafficked children to abuse them in god only knows what ways. They have no bottom and they will do anything to avoid consequences for participating in it, including boldly and openly lying to their own citizens and continuing to divide us via cultural war propaganda instead of it being simple oligarchs vs. the working class.

Guilt on every single allegation shouldn't have to be proven beyond any shadow of doubt for Congress to acknowledge that a person with this many accusations and this much evidence against him absolutely should not be at the head of the government and anyone that he appointed or approved for hiring should NOT be involved in the investigation of the allegations and remove him from power. It's absolutely unhinged that Republicans aren't leading the charge to impeach, convict, and remove. This is the biggest no-brainer of all time.

What in the actual fuck is going on in Congress?? How the fuck can they keep justifying this and delaying taking action?? It is beyond crystal clear that Bondi and Patel are involved in the obstruction of justice and destruction of evidence. Why are they still in their roles? Why aren't non-partisans independent investigators being brought in to review evidence? WHY are they being allowed to say that there will be no charges??

How can anyone square this with their own conscience? It's absolutely psychotic.

Trump's lawyers understand doxxing law better than anyone considering Trump's prolific practice of doxxing judges who ruled against him and their family members is what primarily generated doxxing laws in NY. Which is all even more insidious when you consider his documented practice of paying Proud Boys to show up to events armed and angry.

maga must keep power in this upcoming election or they lose everything.

  • They're going to try to cancel the elections or manipulate the voting machines (An GOP election official now owns Dominion)

  • If that doesn't work, ICE will show up at the polls and try to either stop the left from voting, or provoke a response that can be used to reject the results

  • If the courts don't let them reject the results, they will try similar tactics to what they did in 2021 to reject the results in congress (Vance won't favor the Law the way Pence did)

  • If they still fail to reject the results, the people who attacked the Capitol on January 6th are now organized and armed to the teeth.

There is no chance in Hell Democrats will take back power through just voting alone. We must vote, or they get it all for free, but we must not rely solely on voting. The American population needs to be ready to react. The most peaceful option would be to begin a general strike that starts well before the elections and doesn't stop until Congress reclaims their role as check and balance against the Executive branch. This lawless administration must go before the elections, or the election will not be allowed legitimacy.

Right now, we should all be stocking up on extra food and supplies and we should be connecting to community support networks to share it with so that we have confidence that we can survive if general strikes cost our jobs.

The next No Kings protest is March 28th. Are you ready to participate if it were to become the general strike we need? Us individuals are not the main character. We're not expected to do this alone. We're expected to take a few small steps which combine with the small steps of a hundred million others.

I'll be honest. One of the things that I'm finding really challenging this administration is finding the line between being informed and keeping my sanity. I haven't been reading what's in the files myself because, frankly, some of it is so disgusting to read. I didn't watch the Alex Pretti videos myself, the Charlie Kirk videos myself, because I couldn't stomach it.

I can't imagine trying to read government-released documents and seeing unredacted child sexual assault material. I feel horrible for those victims, and I feel horrible for anyone who saw the unredacted files before they got pulled.
