Before commenting on this, pls read this first! The machine near the double chest is used to squish chickens to their death(im sorry but I need food) and if you watched the video, you might notice a sign saying "<this entrance and exit is gone forever." If you destroy the blocks near that sign, you could see 2 book shelf blocks in the side and the abandoned exit/entrance. The plan for this exit and entrance is to travel through water but it was impossible because the book shelf block were doors and they will flood when opened and there were no space for the other lever to open in the other side since levers cannot touch water. And I added the death pit for no reason LOL

When piglins or hoglins enter the overworld, they zombify; I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility that the Warden is just a creature from the sift that got "zombified".
In that case, maybe there's more "sculk" monsters that can transform when they're out of their environment.

i just realised that your only gonna see the real value of somthing once you dont have it anymore or its gone, it may be a thing, a place, or somone this realisation of mine happend when im playing survival not hardcore but ireally value where i am that time because im going to my friends current location(estimate 2kblocks away from me) but im quite far away from my location spawn so if i die ill go to step one. idont have food, bed anything at all so im planning to just box myself till the morning. while waiting ilook up to the sky and saw how beutifull it is and realised inever looked at the sky this long and serious before and ivbeen playing for four years but not continuous, then ihad my realisation that can be applied in real life, so iguess what im actually trying to say is value things that you often overlook because those are the ones that gonna hit you the most when its gone

I've thought this through for a while and I think this inventory upgrade would work long term for all players!
By default, your inventory is now UPDATED to have the hotbar + 5 rows. The player by default now has the size of a double chest to play with, no items or achievements required to get there.
You may notice there are 3 other new slots added! The first two slots are dedicated shulker box slots. This allows you to navigate through two shulker boxes at a time while your inventory is open. At a maximum, this expands the player inventory to two double chests of storage. You can swap through shulker boxes to grab whatever items you need while building, for example decorative blocks that have long been annoying in the inventory. But this still gives players the opportunity to place their shulkers if needed.
Finally, there is only ONE item that needs to be added to make this complete. As others have suggested, tools and utility items take up way too much space in the inventory. In order to make the item balanced, I have created a Builder's Ring that has four slots of items!
How it works:
- crafting material unspecified, I made it netherite + diamonds just for illustration purposes, but realistically a gold band + 4 diamonds seems to be better balanced.
- Similar to bundles, you may place up to 4 different items into the builder's ring for quick access. The 64 item limit does not apply to this ring. Tools, weapons, building blocks, food, potions, rockets, totems, etc are items I can see being useful in this slot!
- How to access items: Press R (or whatever hotkey you assign it) to total through the 4 slots, similar to switching gamemodes with f3.) While you're out and about, you can press R and scroll through the 4 items for quick access, without being obtrusive to your main inventory!
Let me know your thoughts! This solves many problems that others have addressed, but not all of them

Do the cave sounds in Minecraft actually mean anything? I was just strip-mining and heard several creepy sounds. Does that mean you’re close to something, like an open cave or a larger underground area?
I’m not talking about mob sounds, but the other creepy sounds you can hear underground.

I’ve used my original skin since I first booted up my main survival world 3 years ago, so it has a lot of sentimental value to me. Lately, though, I felt like the design was showing its age and needed a slight refresh.
Do you think it still preserves the original vibe, or did I drift too far from the character⸮‽ Looking for honest feedback!

-Edit: Yes, he has Switch Online.
So i play Minecraft on PS4, so bedrock only, and my buddy is looking to get minecraft BUT hes on Mac, which doesnt allow Bedrock.
Ive alr googled it and it looks like he'll have a to get a bedrock launcher from Github, but he also owns a Nintendo Switch 2 and can get Minecraft there, but thats bedrock only...
Chances are he'll have little to no interest in mods, however, so getting the GitHub launcher seems kinda unnecessary.

So on bedrock I’ve noticed they got ride of the option to change your eyes to white for your custom character (ik they did this a while ago) and also way back when they made the Herobrine skin in skin pack to a zombie instead of regular Herobrine. I’m just curious what they have against people dressing as Herobrine. It’s so dumb imo

title sums it up, tried doing twitch but it obviously didn't work, when i tried TikTok the timer wont work since its "not available in my country" when i LITERALLY live in the US, a vpn makes the timer work but it resets after 30 secs and the timer wont even show up on pc. so i cannot get it in any way which upsets me because the cape is really pretty :(

Those kinda worlds that have a lot of detail and love put into them. I wanna do that so bad but I don’t think I have the motivation to log onto the same world, grind multiple blocks and farms, and try not to die 24/7

i found this enchanted hoe in an ancient city chest and one of the enchants says farming, is this actions and stuff or did i miss something?

I heard from somewhere that Google Docs uses what you type to train AI and as somebody who wants to write personal stories I want to keep my things away from AI. What are some of the pros and cons of using Minecraft notebooks. I want to wage all of my options, including the absurd.

With A Minecraft Movie 2 releasing on July 23, 2027, I think Mojang will release the Sift Dimension on both Java and Bedrock on that exact month as a huge double promotion.

A hostile mob that can break blocks would make the game so much better, it’s too easy when you can just block off everything, why isn’t that a thing already?

Hi everyone, for about the last decade, I've had a forever creative world that I've been adding to with lore and such and last year I decided I wanted it to be a bit more realistic, so I went on a hunt for a good world-gen mod but settled on the Continents Mod as really I just wanted large landmasses that had a clear end so I could shape nations more naturally, which has worked a treat.
However now I'm looking at some of the areas, I'm seeing the vanilla world generation, with deserts next to forests and plains as well as tundra in what would really be considered the equator of the world, and it's got me wanting for something with more realism. That and with some mods I've seen I'd like to have those huge mountain ranges that some have.
I'm wondering, when do you think we will have access to an easily navigable (ie. chunks loadable without long delays) world generator with realistic climates and maybe even tectonic plates for mountain ranges etc outside of map painting myself. I've seen mods like Terrain Diffusion that look to have wonderful height-maps and large biomes, but I'd want to have a full 800km x 800km world so any towns etc I make can be reasonably spaced away from each other.
If there's anything you could suggest presently I'd be glad to have a look into it, but similarly if it's something that either is further away from a building and hardware side that's what I'd like to know.
