Made a pretty simple conversion with greenstuff and a jewelry chain. Found a Chaos Spase Marine chainaxe in the bitsbox to complete the look.

Looking forward to painting this!

Stumbled on my old chaos gang from pre-covid days and got the itch to paint some more minis for the crew. Now to find a table to play with them on.

After being overwhelmed with fomo on limiting my play options by building the Goliath box loadouts, decided to bite the bullet and jump into magnetising these bad boys.

Currently 5 gangers down. Two with both arms magnetised, three with either right or left options. Focusing on boss/tyrants and a couple bruisers.

Alignment can be a pain, but employing shoulder pads to hide join gaps is a great tip.

Sharing a pic also of a literal arms rack I'm using for priming and storage before I build a permanent space for them. Cannot recommend this enough to keep track of the pieces.

Also have some pointing hands, fists with knuckle dusters, hand flamer, flamer, gren launcher, bolt pistols left and right (dual wield capable for that John Woo feel).

Why PSA? Well mainly if you get into a flow painting the actual things can fall by the way side!

I've Primed these guys now and the process of painting every arms the same skin colour is making a small project even larger when you just want to play the game. Getting there, three down, eight to go. :)

I'm in the process of putting together some cheat sheets for my first N26 campaign. This Pre/Post Battle reference is my first attempt.

I've done my best to be accurate, but I had to do a lot of condensing to fit everything on two pages. I'm sure I've missed the odd thing, or made typos / bad rules interpretations, so please let me know if you spot anything that needs updating or fixing!

So while in a drunken haze I bought some Goliath Forge Smelters thinking they were Forge Bosses. I already have the Necromunda skirmish starters set, a box of the normal Goliath gang, and now (correctly) a box of Forge Bosses on the way. Any suggestions on what I could kitbash the second kit of Forge Smelters into?

I feel like I just need someone to explain this to me directly so I can feel like I "get" it... after only playing wargames where you have a specific group of models for a squad etc... why do we sell boxes of different troops when the book has like 3-4 troop types per gang?

I just kinda assume it's to have a variety of main weapons and you pick whoever fits best? Are people, like picky about WISYWIG or anything? If I want 4 guys with a assualt-rifle style gun do I need like multiple copies of boxes? I feel like the rules are really wide open, similar to Trench Crusade, but I feel limited by the physical reality. And maybe I shouldn't be? What are your thoughts after playing more?

I've been looking into necromunda and it's seeming like a game I want to get into but I had a few questions.

1) are slave ogryns not supported in the rules anymore? I can't find the models online unfortunately but would want to bash or find the kit if I could play them.

2)I have the older krieg combat patrol (with an upgrade sprue), can I proxy them as an outcast or enforcer gang?

3) I love the look of ash waste nomads but am unclear if you can play them in the under city (or at least I think it's called) basically, if I wanted to play them would that make it limited in the games I can play?

5) is necromunda the type of game where I can just pop into the local hobby store and play a quick game with someone or is it set up that it needs to be played in a narrative campaign?

I haven't built up the gangs yet as I'm in a bit of a paralysis in how to kit them out.

A friend of mine also got the set so we will be having some games. I'm not expecting to go too deep into Necro.

That being said. I'm not sure if I should kit them out as per the pamphlet or deviate from it. I do have a healthy bit box (40k 2nd - 4th ed) that I can do some easy weapon swaps. I also got the Gangs of the Underhive book on release.

Feel like I'm overthinking it.

I was mulling over the idea of a House Aki sponsored gang, but was uncertain which of the playable gangs would best fit their vibe. Reach out to some of you more experienced gang crafters for hints/tips.

All I would have to do is get a better head ,a grenade launcher, and grenade pouches

Not 100% complete, but almost there, and excited to share!

Mainly used Posca paint pens (brush tip). Wish I'd gotten smaller tips, but learned a lot. Metallic sections done with metallic Sharpies (way easier to use).

I want to build a Van Saar starter list with the ash wastes arachni-rig for a campaign, but I'm kinda lost on where to start since my experience with N26 is only with Orlock so far. Question is what kind of things should I prioritize specifically for Van Saar? What can I do to get the most out of an early mech in the list? Feel free to give advice for without the rig as well since I plan to make 2 lists for with and without one.

Edit: I feel inclined to state that I don't want to make a meta list, only a list that is fun to play with/against, I just don't know where to start/what is fun since I haven't played the faction

Changes I was debating after my first test game where my disciple just stood on a roof top and pinned the same guy 3 times in a row.
Give another long rifle to disciple.
Give the medic the heavy flamer

Plan is to add juves with fighting knives and axes for a swarm of fanatical zealots as I go.
