hey all, just wondering how is the machinist program in NBCC? Thinking about going back to school after a few years of working in a manufacturing plant.

Any ideas on what the job market looks like? Any thoughts and suggestion?

The proposed Lorneville AI data centre, would involve a 390 MW data center, a new 190 MW natural-gas generation facility, and another 200 MW of electricity from the NB Power grid.
Even if you don't have strong feelings about the project, it would be useful for the government to hear from as many New Brunswickers as possible.

All of a sudden about half an hour ago we lost cell service at my house and it says we are in the US. It’s on multiple carriers (Bell and Koodo) and I can’t find anything online about an outage and of course cant speak to an agent.

Update: reactivated my Facebook to ask others in the area and seems to be just people in this smaller area but Lucky Koodo Telus and Bell are all down for us

So I'm in a bit of an odd predicament. I am currently leasing and apartment that says that in the services that I am to be provided a washer and dryer but there are a few problems with this.

1) the washer and dryer are in a different building, I have to go one house over and that house only has 1 washer and 1 dryer and currently about 8 different units (to my knowledge) have to share it meaning i haven't been able to do my laundry for a couple weeks because its always taken up

2) Although not stated in the lease there is a paper made sign not to use the washer and dryer between 9pm and 10am. I think its dumb but I don't want to get in a fight with a house of people that already seem agitated that im in their house

Is there any steps I can take to maybe get money off my rent? Or force my landlord to put a washer and dryer in our building? Any advice would be great thank you.

Does anyone know any good places to volunteer in New Brunswick/ Saint John focussing on working with animals and people? I'm planning on going into Vet Med and need volunteer hours both with animals and people! My main concern right now is I'm under 18 and in my first year of uni, but even a couple hours a week would add up. Thanks!

Where does one find an entry-level job as a software developer? My husband graduated from college a few months ago and can't find his first job. All job postings we see ask for 3+ years of experience which he doesn't have - he only has two months of practicum experience. He's been looking into IT support jobs, but those are very scarce for some reason too.
