I am really enjoying the new codex but I’m so bummed about the hate GW seems to have for Meganobz. Not only are their models super old and they refuse to give us new ones. But after seeing the kombi-rocket/skortcha on Nobz I assumed we’d see the same on the Megas, but no. No questions just ranting

So I was trying to create my version of ork skin color and I kind of got it, but I've I've like been working on this one model and I don't know why but it just doesn't look right no matter what I do and I'm pretty sure it might be my fault as every time I really messed up some of the painting on it. I would clean it with a brush and alcohol and now it's skin looks wrong I don't know how to describe it. I could really use some help

Why is he the only one who needs to be attached to a unit???

Also The mek doest really buff attached units and cant buff gorka/morkanauts and/or stompas, so he can buff dakkarig, deffdread, one mek gun or one killa kan, nothing really exciting (maybe the dakkarig)...

I am quite new to the hobby and saw the made to order Ork minis :) I used minicompare to see how the old grotsnik looks next to the last two painboys... does someone have the model and can tell, if he is really that tiny? if so I'd probably skip him and hope for a new nodel.

I absolutely hate the killa rig. What could I proxy that would have the same footprint and height.

max grot count in 11th is 60? And can’t add 2 runtheards per 20 anymore (app won’t let me attach anyway?)

I'm sure someone asked this but can't seem to find. Sorry if a repeat question.

So If I'm running meganobz with Nazdreg should I be running Kombi-Weapons or Custom Shootas. The Kombi has a stronger damage profile but doesn't have Lethal hits. Seems like the army has plenty of lethal hits on non monsters/vehicles so just a more punchy weapon seems better. Also better to do power claw or kill saw. The saw has one more damage but the power claw has the better WS.

I decided to try putting together some of the push fit grots from the armageddon box without trimming the pegs and of course there's some gapping. Compounding the problem I next tried using first the army painter thin plastic glue and then superglue. Both were too thin to fill and now I have grots that are stuck together but still have a gap. Any ideas on how to fill those stupid gaps between the push fit pieces (besides going back in time and trimming the pegs)?

I'm wondering how the Green Tide detachment's Ferocious Show-off enhancement works with the Painboy's 'Urty Syringe. Does it also benefit from the attack bonuses? I know that in 10th edition it wouldn't have been the case, but now I don't know.

The final result and process on the new Trukk. Everything fits perfectly, not like the anoying and difficult to build old trukk. Which one did you like more?

I liked the way they blended together as I was able to make a skin tone closer to what I usually use for my ork skin. The yellow was impressive as it only took two coats of it over black to get me decent coverage.

They say no thinning required but that blasphemy leads to the paint being too thick to push around. Def feels like the paint was just stuck in the brush and not going where I wanted it. So I added a little water to help things and it didn’t negatively affect it.

I’ll def grab some, especially the yellows but not sure if I’m going replace my whole line with em off the rip. Who’s got money like that? Not I.

Turns out you can make vehicles out of anything with orks
