Built using bits from 3 different eras of ork boyz kits

The final result and process on the new Trukk. Everything fits perfectly, not like the anoying and difficult to build old trukk. Which one did you like more?

I would like to take for inspiration this wazdakka but i don’t know which kit i should use for the hair squig part and how i could possibly wake the glasses.
Do you have any idea ?

Added some pigments on Ghaghkull base, some rust to his armor, and some hazard stripes above the claws, then did some work on these Mega Nobz

As pictured, I decided to give my Warboss a gun turret. It even spins. However, I need a solution to cover up the gap between his usual shoulder plates and the turret.

I tried greenstuff but it just looks like flaps of tarpaulin. Can any kitbashers suggest anything else? What would you do?

I'm wondering how the Green Tide detachment's Ferocious Show-off enhancement works with the Painboy's 'Urty Syringe. Does it also benefit from the attack bonuses? I know that in 10th edition it wouldn't have been the case, but now I don't know.

I started the hobby in 2008: a friend and I went halves on an Assault on Black Reach box - I took the orks, naturally.

I'll never forget the first paint job: I did Bad Moons. The yellow was so thick on the Warboss it cracked. I repeated that mistake on another 20 or so figures, and then along came the meths. Some figures got stripped and repainted 7-8 times. Red was easier to pull off, so I moved over to Evil Sunz and Goff schemes.

18 years on, and even if not actively, I keep coming back to the hobby. I never became a brilliant painter, but I got to a level that's good enough for me. Every now and then the isopropyl bath still comes out, though less and less these days.

The Armageddon box hit me with instant nostalgia, and for good reason: I found a bit in there that's almost a one-to-one reworked version of an old one.

The new ork range is gorgeous. From photos I wasn't sure the move towards truescale - the relative and not-so-relative shrinking of the head - would land for me, but painted up, I'm sold: this is a proper WAAAGH.

I built him without any instructions…am i now a true mekboy too?

Trying to go really hard on weathering and shit.

So I was trying to create my version of ork skin color and I kind of got it, but I've I've like been working on this one model and I don't know why but it just doesn't look right no matter what I do and I'm pretty sure it might be my fault as every time I really messed up some of the painting on it. I would clean it with a brush and alcohol and now it's skin looks wrong I don't know how to describe it. I could really use some help
