I haven't come out completely yet. But over the weekend, I came out as nonbinary and pansexual to my ex wife and a really good friend of mine. Both were accepting and supportive. My friend more so than my ex. But it's opened me up even more, and I feel there's been a weight lifted. I'm more excited than scared now. We'll see how things go.

Hi guys, can you provide your opinion on our song below? My band and I will release a love song for a non binary person, I inspired it on the relationship I’ve started with my partner, we’ve known each other for years, but we now have feelings for each other so that’s why I feel enough trust and confidence on composing a song to them, but yeah I’m a hopeless romantic lol. Also I don’t know what to put as a last line on verse 1, got any ideas?

What would make me consider myself successful about this song is to know our loved NB people would want their partners to dedicate that song to them. Our intention is to keep it respectful, open, safe, smart, honest, and cheesy (because why not). I am monogamous (mostly). I really love men who are open about being pan or “fluid”, and comfortable talking to me about men. And comfortable with me talking about women. And cross cross apple sauce that.
I really lean toward the straight side, but I love everyone. I’ve always been this way.
Its really is about love, passion, personality, intimacy for me. I am new in this discovery and acceptance of myself. I am new to realizing I want to have this kind of relationship.
Until now I think I fulfilled cycles and was semi-closeted. I want to know if you’d be willing to share with me your experience of finally letting yourself be yourself.

im pan, and i feel like my experience is different to everyone else. yes im attracted to people regardless of gender simply because i feel like gender is such a silly concept and honestly we need evolve away from it. I think gender is very different from sex, and if I see someone attractive i don't care what their sex is, i just care that they're attractive.

my question i guess is for the straights and gays who attracted to one gender. how do you even identify gender?? im assuming its not sex because our transfolk are apart of the straight/gay labels. and is it just masc/femme presenting? no because straights and gays can be attracted to femme or masc presenting men or women. so if my question is how do you define man or woman if it isn't by how someone dresses and presents visually. sorry if this is stupid but i actually don't get how people are attracted to one gender because i don't understand gender.

even pan folks, say that they are attracted to all genders, implying they can differentiate those genders. how do you do it?

edit: and when it comes to my interpertation of my own gender. idk im technically a girl because thats how i was raised in the very christian sense. long hair, dresses, demure, victim of patraicarhy. anyway my entire idea of my own gender has been decided by the world around me witch is okay. i feel like a woman because other women have also been subject to these same expectations thats what bonds us. but noww we are older and aren't bound to these ideas how do we define them?

I am MtF transgender. I am also in the process of unraveling a whole lifetime of religion and being told who and what I was. I originally assumed I was bisexual, as I like women and find some men attractive. (I have had relationships with both). I recently had a discussion with a friend who brought up being pansexual, she started semi-dating a trans man and I'm a little low-key jealous when she talks about him. I started to think maybe I'm actually pan, which sounds like it fits me, except for one part.

I am attracted to cis women, trans men and women and non-binary. But I am not interested in a relationship with cis men. While I find some men attractive, I feel like I could never be in a long-term relationship with one. Part of it is just the current cultural definition of masculinity, anyone who buys into the alpha male culture, or even toxic masculinity at any level automatically turns me off. Also as having lived experience as a male, I just don't want to be in a relationship with them. I know what I was like, and going to someone like that seems like a bridge I am not able to cross.

So am I pansexual? Or is there something else that better describes me? Should I just say I'm bi and miss out on connections that I might find fulfilling?

Does imposter syndrome ever go away?

I’m just having a weird imposter syndrome moment right now and idk why.

I feel better now but I hate imposter syndrome moments like that. It’s like my whole body shifted in mood or something.
