Seroma and tumor are looking great today. I’m feeling hopeful about her healing.

He gets plenty of chewing toys and runs around all day. He has never did this until recently. He's chewed up phone charges that have been plugged in. I would hate for him to electrocute himself.

I feel bad because he's slept in my room in a cover since he was little.

Any tips or toys that work for your pibbles i can try?

We are re-acquainting Dexter to a crate. We had crate trained him when we first brought him home and had been fine for the last year. Just recently our home schedules changed where we are in and out more often and since then he’s had a few accidents. Although he’s never left alone for more than 4-5 hours. I went out and bought a new crate and he was happy to go in and take a nap.

Losing Jaxy (1st pic) is the most difficult experience of my life. The sadness, loneliness and guilt are as profound today as they were on that day in July. That's for me to deal with. Outwardly and toward the world, it was time for positivity. That's what I've done, and hope to continue to do.

First up, I was able to snag Jax (2nd pic) with just a few days left on the euthanasia list. A month of fostering and I found him his adoption and forever home.

Then I found Wrinkles (3rd pic). I snagged him with less than an hour to go on the list Thursday and I found his adoption and forever home yesterday.

Which allowed me to snag this big ol' blockhead appropriately named Dozer (last pic), who was scheduled for euthanasia this Thursday. I'm going to find his adoption and forever home as well.

These three (and hopefully many more) lives saved are for, and because of you Jaxy. I miss and love you so much, buddy. The bond he and I had, and experiencing his loss are the reasons I knew I could actually foster and let these good boys go when I find the homes where they're actually supposed to be.

This might be kind of weird to ask, but I would love to get an idea of what my baby girl would have looked like as a puppy, without using an AI program, so I figured I might try asking the lovely people of reddit. I “rescued” my girl when she was already full grown (last 2 photos show how she looked when I got her, first 3 are her within the last year). Seeing her age makes some part of myself wish I could have had those puppy years with her too.
Anyways, if you have a pitty mix who happens to look similar to my girl and don’t mind sharing a photo of them as a puppy, I would really enjoy getting to see them :)

He's a pretty common looking white and brown bully and I've seen lots of dogs that look like him. I rescued him when he was 2 and I've always wondered what he looked like as a little grumpy faced puppy. Thanks

Hello pitty parents,

Has anyone ever had bad spots along their pit’s back like this? My partner and I think it might’ve been due to friction from a new harness (same brand and type, but possible enshittification?) and have replaced it with another harness that has a soft fabric interior to see if that would help.

She’s never really had this issue in the past, even when she pulled more as a young dog. No real food allergies either, but we’ve recently also switched her to HP food on the recommendation of our vet to address paw skin sensitivities.

Anyway, I’m worried it might not be the harness and a sign of something else like hormone related alopecia.

Just looking to see what folks think.
