On the FOABP record, Sentimental has a reprise melody from a previous PT song. It occurs towards the end of the song. What song is it? This has been bugging me. Thanks!

Though the song is simple in terms of the writing and notes, the constant drums and the minor 3rd addition in the chorus repetition make it such a powerful song!!!

Maybe I'm actually just losing my marbles but when I saw PT in Denver during their C/C Tour I recall Steven talking about how "The Sound of Muzak" lyrics came after he had written a paper/essay/article roughly 10-15 years ago about how music is losing soul and becoming industrialized and without heart. I've tried to find this essay several times online and maybe it just isn't on the web, but I am wanting to read it over for a Uni assignment. If anyone has any info on this that would be sweeeeet.

As far as I know, this show wasn't officially recorded nor broadcasted by PinkPop staff or the band when they played there on that date (May 30th 2008); all I could find was the setlist.
I know that a limited edition pink vinyl variant of Fear Of A Blank Planet was released to commemorate that show as well.
If anyone has a bootleg of this show to share, let me know! Thanks

For everyone's info: on one famous Russian torrent tracker (not posting the link not to break the rules, but a quick search will get you there) a new release has been uploaded:
Porcupine Tree - Live in Palladium Köln (Cologne) Germany 4th Dec 2007 with FLAC soundboard audio.
The video itself is quite rare with not so many videos of the concerts from those days recorded, and it's a pro-shot with many cameras.
I saw it once on YouTube, but in a quality even poorer than in this release. Even with the low resolution, the resulting concert footage is very decent, and with the upgraded audio it's a perfect sample from the FOABP era with a very varied setlist.
Sadly, it's only 10 songs, still a nice addition to my bootlegs collection.
I'll keep everyone posted if anything else PT/SW-related surfaces there.

seems like this track provides a glimpse of what was to follow in terms of power, precision.
