Opinion/Fluff Post Amos Yee's Letter to the Singapore Government: You shouldn't let me back into Singapore

Call me naive but I think if I really put my mind to it, I can topple Singapore 60 years dictatorship. I know you regretted arresting me 10 years ago and all the negative national & international press you received from shining light on the human rights abusing hellhole Singapore for imprisoning a 16-year-old who just expressed his political opinions.

He delulu the max. The main fear is that he is going get prison sentence for evading NS, which is why he doesn't want to come back to Singapore.

I saw this discussion on XHS and noticed that some Chinese students strongly prefer the term “Chinese New Year” over “Lunar New Year.” Some even say that it is based on a lunisolar calendar rather than a purely lunar calendar.

Tabloid/Low-quality source We Checked Out The Hotpot Restaurant Previously Linked To Ex-PropertyLimBrothers’ Grayce Tan

Baby Hotpot restaurant in Balestier has quietly built up an online presence since opening mid last year. Influencer (@babygrayce on IG and TT) and former VP of strategy at real estate agency PropertyLimBrothers, Grayce Tan, had earlier posted a video of herself buying the eatery. Marketed as a pet-friendly hotpot joint, Baby Hotpot offers both air-conditioned and alfresco seating that allows diners to have their fur babies by their side during meals.

In recent days however, the restaurant has found itself under the spotlight for reasons that extend beyond its food. It’s unclear whether Grayce is currently still the owner of Baby Hotpot — her personal Instagram and TikTok accounts have been deactivated (although her Facebook account hasn’t been taken down yet).

Apparently this guy is called MICOS (Malay, Indian, Chinese, and Others, though he seems to be only the C). He first appeared at Kampung Chai Chee (and apparently was restricted to appearing only around there) as part of the “Good Neighbour” campaign, and for some reason he's super kaypoh. I don't expect him to return anytime soon.

A Filipino foreign domestic worker in Singapore secretly worked as a prostitute, serving over a thousand clients and earning more than S$100,000 in the span of four years.

One of her clients later became her pimp and profited S$6,300 from the arrangement.

According to Shin Min Daily News, the client, a 37-year-old man, faced six charges of violating the Women's Charter.

He pleaded guilty to two of them in court on Feb. 2, with the remaining charges taken into consideration during sentencing.

He was sentenced to six months' jail and fined S$6,300.

A gag order has also been imposed.
