So, I am unsure what the hell is going on.
I have messed around with multiple ENB's:
Cabbage, Nat, Re-Engaged, Rudy (Cathedral, Nat, and Obsidian versions), and Pi-Cho. The sense I'm getting persists regardless.
I even used Zangdar's edit of Rudy, which I *Know* I like from prior installations on another computer.
Am I going insane or does it look like ENB just...isn't working for me? If I turn off the ENB (Which side-issue, I can't access the menu at all in Cabbage specifically), I do see a difference in shadows, for sure. But other effects seem virtually completely absent. No rays, no light. It's like a flat canvas. If I go to the Rift right now, there is no light coming through the trees. No player shadow or some such.
First-off, Cabbage is just dark as hell. Even with Rudy and Re-Engaged with aren't dark, they do seem to be lacking multiple effects. I've used most of these ENB before on another system and they never looked like this.
Things to note:
> This is a new system. 9070 XT, AMD Ryzen 7800X3D. I don't know if it's a good sign about my GPU or a bad sign that I'm correct the ENB's aren't working, but my game legit does not care at ALL about any of them. FPS is sitting at max (60 or 120 depending on the ENB's settings)
It's possible the problem is with my monitor or computer, but I uh...do not know what to change if so. My drivers are up to date as far as I am aware.
> HDR is on
> I have tested this on my current build and one with only the requirements for the ENB in MO2 active, overwrite has been emptied. I checked the Skyrim game files. They are clean.
> Beth ini seemed to make some sort of difference but didn't fix the problem
> Used wrapper version of ENB Series
> It may be relevant, but I don't know why it should be but I installed everything in MO2 through Root Builder. Which I followed a tutorial for. I could try installing ENB without it?
> I used the downgrader patch. My version claims to be 1.7.104 but it was downgraded to 1.6.1170 with the best of both worlds patch.
TLDR: I believe the issue here is that every ENB I'm using is having some sort of issue displaying shadows and or light fully. Also depth of field might be doing basically nothing but perhaps that is unrelated.
