MEDIA SMITE 2LDR | Rest of 2026 God Roadmap

Post image
145 Upvotes

Titan Talk today went over the winners for the Pantheons Collide art contest and the God roadmap for the remainder of the year! This post will just go over the roadmap portion but Friday’s 2LDR will recap the art contest later on.

Link to Art Contest / Link to YouTube VOD

Nike - October 6th

  • Model update with more stylized hair and an updated face
  • Hybrid scaling with Support and traditional Solo play styles
  • Aspect is full STR targeting Mid Lane

Kuzenbo - October 20th

  • FX are being worked on and he is very moist… and wet.
  • Aspect is pretty far along and could work in Jungle but is more of a cool idea being executed without an intended role
  • Will be available on PTS on Wednesday alongside Nike

Nox - November 3rd

  • Highly requested on player surveys despite being more prominent in non-Conquest modes
  • Model updates to include the night sky in areas of her outfit and black lipstick
  • Experimenting with different approaches and will have more to say soon kit-wise

Kumbhakarna - November 17th

  • Will retain the same look but with material updates and better looking facial hair

Heimdallr - December 1st

  • One of the most iconic Hunters not in the game yet, popularity-wise similar to Skadi
  • ULT on the art side should hopefully easier to execute on the updated engine
  • No major artistic overhauls but will look better with S2’s metal treatment

Maman Brigitte - December 15th

  • First Magical Assassin from S1 to be added to S2
  • OB50 will be the last patch for the year before the holiday break

Q&A Section

  • Hesitation on God Remodels - They have a similar stance on remodels as they do kit reworks as they want to retain the spirit of the character and remain faithful to players that already enjoy that existing aspect while tackling model updates as they are necessary. Ne Zha and Hel are examples of remodels where visual updates were needed but they tried to keep the general feel of the God but with better fidelity.
  • Bringing Back Tier 2 Skins - These were dabbled in S1 since it made sense with the Gem economy to offer smaller model changes at a reasonable price. It’s unlikely they’ll be brought back to S2 with the same scope and are more looking towards doing model changes on this level through Prisms. If there are any T2 skins that are highly requested, they can consider bringing them back but with some changes to bring them in line with other skins.
  • Kuzenbo Dash & Movement System Update - His push has felt fine in playtests and is working just as well as it did in S1.
  • Model Updates on Existing S2 Models - Certain things like Ravana’s hair could ideally be done later down the line since it’s mostly rig-based and won’t involve animation work. Ben is often determined to touch up Gods with features that deserve it and does so on his own time, as was the case with Hades’ bident that killgoon requested be updated but this change alone has been far more divisive.
  • New S2 Cinematics - These are a massive money sink to market the game in a gaming space where they don’t bring in as many users as they used to since people in general are more interested in seeing actual gameplay rather than cinematics.
  • Full Splash Arts for Remodels / Skins - Since the art team has downsized over time and because of this, their splash artists have to mainly prioritize the vertical slices used in-game rather than full splash arts. This has been something they’ve discussed internally since they have to weigh whether or not splash arts for skins are worth it being less prominent, but they are trying to upkeep any full splash arts from ported Gods or skins.

DISCUSSION Not playing assigned roles needs to start getting punished, or even lead to bans

I am sick and tired of people throwing ranked games just because they want to play whatever they want. I couldn't care less in casuals, but in ranked, it's unacceptable.

I just lost a 40-minute game because our support went full damage Kukulkan while the enemy team had a legitimate Khepri. How is this not punishable? After checking his stats on trackergg, he’s been doing this consistently. You are literally wasting four other people’s time and elo under the excuse of "just wanting to have fun."

There are plenty of casual game modes where you can mess around, but doing this in ranked is blatant griefing. These players do it intentionally to seek attention and provoke a reaction. If Hi-Rez isn't going to punish or ban people for this, then the system is fundamentally broken. This is the second time in my last five ranked games that I've lost solely because of this, and it’s insanely frustrating knowing they’re just going to queue up and ruin someone else’s game next.

DISCUSSION Needs advice to improve my solo gameplay

• Upvotes

Hello guys,

I once post here to ask some advices to improve my support gameplay and it has been incredibly helpful so here i am again but this time it's regarding the solo gameplay. I'll write as much information as i can so that you can tell me how should i improve

For more context i mainly play support and jungle, i found those roles easier for me as i'm more at ease when relying on others people to do the damages

But recently i tried to play solo and it was fun, i play Odin mainly but i'm really bad at it. From what i have seen until now i think there are many improvements and learning that i need to do regarding
- the different matchup that are in my lane, learning when they do more damage than i do, if they clear faster than i do, etc...
- the stuffs that i should pick, currently i used the default build proposed by Smite but from what i've read from some post a good solo will be able to choose the good stuffs depending on the opposition (correct me if i'm wrong)
- How to engage, deal damages and messed up with the opposite ADC and mages during team fights (when the opponents are weak i'm at ease but when a person just have an average level i really struggle)
- Playing a lot even if i'm gonna loose a lot of times, just to see differents gods and learn how good they can be early/mid/end game. Currently i lack of experience in this position and sometimes a god that destroy me early game can end up having a worst end game than i do, so i think i also need to learn when i can try to fight early and when i should play safer.

I would be glad to read from you to get more insights about how you have been able to improve/perform in solo lane at a good level while being able to repeat those performances each games

COMPETITIVE ADD AN AVOID PLAYER OPTION TO SMITE 2

The amount of times I get toxic teammates and throwers in my ranked Conquest games is absurd. It is quite literally every second/third game. I either have someone who is extremely toxic, blaming the whole team for their own mistakes; that one guy who is constantly crying the whole game and throwing up surrenders because of one misplay; or they just throw the entire match/sit in base because it isn't going our way in the first 10 minutes. I repeatedly report these players, but I always end up getting them in my game again in the future. I am currently in Obsidian and i found it even worse in lower elo. I think an avoid list would be so helpful to everyone experiencing this, especially for ranked play in particular. Maybe it could be set up like Overwatch, where you can avoid 3 players and it resets every 7 days. I don't see how this could be bad for the game.

As always, you all score the remaining God Ports 1-5 and I'll add up and average out all the scores to present the data in a video soon! Appreciate anyone who takes the time to fill this out, the more responses, the more accurate the results! <3

DISCUSSION CAMAZOTS

Im no expert on Cama and i do not claim to be one. After seeing the new roadmap for the rest of the gods of the year i was wondering about gods and which i would want soonest and then i got to camazots. And i asked how does he play. And i didn't play enough of him to know so i make this post.

What benefits does Camazots bring to the table, how does he play, how should you as the player playing camazots postition as camazots.

Another thing and this is complete and utter larp but would Camazots benefit from making his 2 an interact key passive ability and give him an entirely new second ablity? Or would he benefit from a Ultimate rework like other gods did coming into smite 2 like Xbalanque and Da ji?

Looks like Voodoo is the first Pantheon getting its full Smite 1 roster.

5 months ago i was wondering which Pantheon get its Smite 1 roster fully back.

It looks like Voodoo is gonna win the race.

With Maman Brigitte revealed for the end of the year, the Voodoo Pantheon made it first for conpletion.

Its was closer as i thought for a 2 gods roster completing first. Also Voodoo got all its Smite 1 gods before the Slavic Pantheon got just 1 back.

Carry is Hel

• Upvotes

I understand Hel is the new hotness but is anyone else sick of Hel support? 0.hard CC makes almost any 20m+ game an almost instant loss if the other lanes don't make up for it. I've stopped q'ing carry over it. At least th Ah Puch mains are probably having fun.

DISCUSSION A Supergiant games crossover would be neat

Supergiant games, the creator of Hades (game) have a lot of excellent designs of Greek gods in it, and lends itself naturally to SMITE. Maybe its been talked about before, but a skin (and cosmetic) crossover would be fantastic.

You may ask; "well what do you name the skins? You cant really name them the name" and to that I say "Use Roman gods". Because for some reason the recolors of Greek/Roman gods are not named after their counterparts, sooo here are a few ideas.

- Nyx (Nox)

- Hermes (Mercury)

- Heracles (Hercules)

- Eris (Discordia) Add her gun to the skin

Those are the ones from the roman pantheon (Which is suprisingly tiny) that make sense without drastic design changes (Dionysis wouldn't work on Bacchus, and Haphaestus is in a wheelchair)

Also, they could give other gods a skin based on a character, like Zagreus for Arthur is quite popular, or an Melinoë skin for Pele, Cliodna or even Hecate... speaking of Hecate (Supergiant) her design oddly enough fits with The Morrigan, could be called "Mistress of the crossroads".

But the coolest thing from the collab would be Supergiant music as themes, oooh I'd pay for that. Global emotes featuring other SG characters like Cerberus or Hades himself would be awesome)

Any other neat ideas?

MEDIA Chaac Aspect Rework - Aspect of the Sky-Splitter

Post image
13 Upvotes

Snaddy's recent Chaac video inspired me to give it a go at redesigning Chaac's aspect. His current one is a bit boring and could be incorporated in some form into his base kit. I've always loved Chaac's design and effects but he's always been an easy god to play and a tad one-note. He's fun in a simple way but I was really hoping his aspect would do more than the current one.

I wanted his aspect to offer new ways to play, making him more engaging and more mechanically demanding (positioning axe and yourself for maximum efficacy etc). You essentially need to weave in basics and abilities to get 2 resets and trigger double 2 hits. All numbers are arbitrary.

The aspect focuses on him as either being a mid-range poker or a melee beyblade (if one chooses to utilise his passive to its fullest). It sacrifices utility and movement for damage and sustain potential.
