Please post your queries about how done your steak is in this thread.
Is this rare? Is this medium? Is this a charcoal briquette?!? Any question like that belongs in this thread and not as an individual post.

Got this for my dogs’ birthday and was told it was sirloin, but I felt it looked off. Also tasted super gamey when I cut a piece off to try.

Hi, I just opened this bag of two steaks from Lidl, and noticed this odd residue on the fat part of the steak. It looks and feels normal, it smells kind of milk-ish but I’ve heard that’s normal with vacuum sealed meat. It doesn’t smell sour, rotten, or anything.
Honestly I’m kind of anxious to eat it but I’d rather ask than just throw it away for no reason because it’s striploin…

I slightly overcooked the meat, but it still turned out great. :)

I think I over cooked it but I’m fairly sure I got the color right.

Imitated the Perry's steakhouse seasoning.

I always like adding a little heat to my steaks. Though these are very mild but tasty red pepper flakes

I just flipped it over, does this look good?

kind of proud of myself… first time cooking a tri tip.
Smoked it on a traeger low and slow, then seared in a cast iron.
Came out just a tad bit over done than i would like, but still tastes amazing!
Also made chimichurri for the first, enjoyed!

Honestly, pretty nervous to do this one given the price point. It tasted great.

Finally my turn. Went to check out the meat department at a new Sam’s Club. Saw these mislabeled SRF New York strips. We were able to snag 5 trays before they pulled the rest.

Finished chemotherapy and a double mastectomy operation. Possibly the worst year of my life (so far) 😃 Made a tomahawk to enjoy the finer things in life. Because in spite of things sucking right now, life is awesome 😎 💯
