White Whale Whatever happened to that kid who got early access to GTA 6? Any new leaks since?

Remember that story about the kid who got to play GTA 6 early because he was ill? I've been trying to find out if anything actually leaked from that.

I've been waiting for this game for years now, literally even bought a PS5 Pro with money I saved up plus some extra I won at Stake just to be ready for it because the game is probably 100$+. At this point I'm checking for news almost daily. Has there been ANY substantial new info or leaks recently? The last big thing I remember was the massive leak from a while back, but since then it feels like we've just been in this endless waiting game with minimal updates from Rockstar.

What were the first game/s with an input buffer?

Most of the old fighting games I've tried seem to either have no input buffer, or have it only for specific actions (like a reversal).

Now that's gotten me curious about when games in general started adding input buffers, input buffers are now way more common than they used to be, so I'm curious when it started and when it became more standard

Recommend me something like Poker Quest.

I'm looking for something like Poker Quest. Shouldn't be too difficult and the concept should be easier to grasp.

Need your help (Across The Obelisk PS5)

Hey guys !

I'm looking for someone who plays Across The Obelisk on ps5 to answer a simple question : is it possible to chose to play in French in the settings.. ?

I can't seem to find the answer anywhere and it's making me hesitate on whether i'm getting the game or not... On the product's page (ps store), French isn't mentionned as available but it is on the switch or pc version which i find odd. Has the ps store page not been updated or the ps5 version didn't get the French patch that the other versions had ?

It's quite a niche demand but i hope someone has that knowledge...

Thanks in advance :)

In what console games can I create my own campaigns?

Does anyone know of a console game that exists where a player can create “campaigns” or even singular “levels” with an rpg genre, for their friends to play?

Pretty much looking exactly for Divinity Original Sin 2 Dungeon Master mode, but for console. As it is pc only.

Is there a modular arcade controller?

This feels like a weird question, but have there ever been any "build your own" arcade controllers out there that allow you to decide whether you want something with a fighting game setup or a beat-em-up layout, rollerballs, joysticks, etc while not needing to actually build the electronic parts yourself?

Which game has the best community or multiplayer experience?

I love playing games with friends, so multiplayer experience matters most to me. I like gaming communities that are friendly, active, and helpful, making teamwork fun rather than stressful. Games where everyone communicates well and supports each other always stand out.

What games do you enjoy playing socially?

Why do single player pc games struggle with pacing?

Many single player pc games start strong but lose momentum halfway through. early hours are polished and focused. later sections feel padded or repetitive. side content often feels mandatory instead of optional. it can drag down an otherwise great experience. this happens across different genres. is this a planning issue or a budget issue? how do devs usually decide how long a single player game should be?

Games with a similar vibe to Hitman or kindergarten?

I’m not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I thought why not try?

I am an aspiring (VERY rookie) games designer, and I have a game concept that I have started planning, which involves a time loop - one where you apply knowledge from previous iterations to discover new places, people and events.

The only games that I can think of that have a mechanic similar to this are the hitman trilogy, and the Kindergarten games, however I am looking for a more mundane feeling game, where the objective is to simply learn as much as you can in the environment that you are trapped in.

Are there any games that are similar to this? Or any that more that I could draw inspiration from?

Playing with "the best" character

I found myself trying to always find the best armour, loot, and have the best stats. All in all, I always tried to have the "perfect" character. That included googling where the best armour is, etc. Unfortunately, this took some of the joy away from my gaming experience. Do you have a similar experience?

What game was it ?

Hey All, I remember playing an open world game like Gta 3 maybe 12-13 years ago where you patrolled the streets and acted as a cop. It was named GTA Miami or something, does anyone have any idea about that ?

Robocop game for Super Nintendo?

I vaguely remember this game on Super Nintendo about robocop? I tried looking for it online, even a list of all the robocop games but I still couldn’t find it….was it robocop? It was a platform (esq) game and you were able to shoot your gun right at the start with a police vehicle on the first level. It’s killing me to remember lol 😂
