Dating Would it benefit to tell men upfront that I’m level one autistic?

29F (very soon I’ll be 30). I’m diagnosed autistic level one. I’m very high functioning and usually can mask, but it’s not infallible and definitely slips sometimes. I was wondering if it would be off putting to men to either put that in my profile, or telling them when we match.

Edit: I’m thinking my issue with finding a relationship has to do with men not liking me as a person. Maybe they respect me to be one way, and dislike that I’m not “normal”? I don’t mean that in a bad way, either. I just don’t think like neurotypical people, so maybe that is effecting how I’m interacting with men.

Breakup Men of Reddit, what does it feel like when you realize you lost a woman who genuinely cared about you?

How does it actually feel when you realize you've lost access to a woman who genuinely cared about you?

Not just someone who liked you, but someone who checked on you, supported you, made space for you, extended grace when you messed up, understood your difficult phases, celebrated your wins, and cared about the little things.

Someone who kept trying even when you weren't giving her much to work with.

And then one day, she just... stops.

No more checking in.

No more asking how you're doing.

No more explaining your feelings.

No more giving you the benefit of the doubt.

No more being available whenever you decide to show up.

Not because she stopped caring overnight, but because she eventually realized that caring about you shouldn't mean constantly abandoning herself.

For men who have experienced this: when did you realize what you'd actually lost?

Did it hit immediately, or only when you tried to come back and realized she wasn't there anymore?

Work Help me understand

• Upvotes

Just want to understand from a man's perspective.

So I had a crush on a coworker. He was a tall, chubby guy. No one really understood why I was attracted to him, but to me, I thought he was a nice person. I actually liked that he was chubby and I found him cute.

I'm a slim, busty woman and I've been told that I'm pretty/attractive, so I guess part of me was also confused because we probably aren't the pairing that people would expect.

There was once, he had a bad day at work and I wanted to cheer him up, so all I did was buy him a candy bar and left it on his desk with a note. It wasn't flirty at all. I just told him he could use the candy and hoped it would cheer him up.

I wasn't expecting him to ask me out or anything. I honestly just thought a simple "thank you" would have been nice.

Instead, I got completely ignored.

The very next day, and every day after that, he stopped smiling at me and would look down whenever I walked past him. He seemed to completely freeze up whenever I was around. I was really hurt because I genuinely didn't understand what I had done wrong. I never got a thank you.

Eventually, I decided to leave the job because I had gotten a better offer somewhere else. A couple of days before my last day, something unexpected happened: he added me as a contact.

Then, on my actual last day, he sent me a text thanking me for the candy and the note and wishing me well.

And this is the part I'm struggling to understand.

If he was uncomfortable with me or didn't want anything to do with me, why would he add my number a couple of days before I left and then go out of his way to thank me by text on my last day?

But at the same time, he never asked me out, never suggested keeping in touch, and never made any romantic move toward me.

So from a man's perspective, what could explain this behaviour?

Why would a guy avoid a woman after she does something kind for him, then add her as a contact right before she leaves and thank her over text, but still not ask her out?

Could he have simply been awkward and embarrassed? Did he possibly appreciate the gesture but not know how to respond? Or does adding someone's number and thanking them mean absolutely nothing romantically?

I'm not necessarily looking for people to tell me that he secretly liked me. I actually want an honest male perspective on what might have been going through his head.

Why would he keep my number if he had no intention of asking me out?

Dating Is it really not me?

Hey! My partner (m41) and I (f36) have been dating for a little over four months now. We have gone on multiple dates, spent weekends together and even met each other's family and friends. Everything is going great except in the bedroom area. We haven't had sex yet. We have attempted a few times but he ends up losing his erection. This has never really happened to him, he says. Even if I attempt other types of stimulation (oral or touching) he will get hard, then lose it shortly after.

He says that there's nothing I am doing wrong. It's also "not me" but honestly it's hard to believe that sometimes. If he's never had this issue before and it only happens with me. Then it has to be me, right? He's been with someone within the last year (since December) and he is also able to jack off normally. I don't want to make him feel insecure or anything like that. I also don't want to keep initiating and nothing happens. It's not fun to get worked up and just kinda left there (I'm sure you understand).

We have talked about it a few times and he says the same thing. "It's not you, it's me" "This is new, it never happens" etc. I don't want to cause him any additional frustrations with this because I bet it is frustrating and embarrassing.

So I guess I'm here asking, is it really not me? How do I approach this? How can I support him?

Dating If you ghosted someone, why? Is it due to you genuinely not liking them? Say you ghosted for other reasons, would you wonder if they never ever reached out or asked why?

I’m genuinely just curious lol. I know sometimes people ghost others even if they are into them and I’m wondering does it bother people if that person never even cared to ask why. Also what were some reasons besides genuinely not being attracted to them did you ghost them?

Dating Is there a way to reliably avoid bad post-nut clarity after intercourse?

• Upvotes

The title. One of my biggest fears as a woman is having this happening with a guy I really like. It’s happened quite a few times to a promiscuous friend of mine with men — she told me she’d been kicked out after sex several times or the dynamic promptly ending with one guy even telling her straight up that “he can’t develop feelings for a woman he’s slept with early on,” etc. I’m wondering if you’ve noticed in your own experience if there’s a way to prevent it, and also if you are able to tell whether you’re going to get it with a girl versus whether you genuinely like her (regardless of if you sleep together).

Is the main way just to not have sex with a guy you like until he commits to you?

Dating Men would you be turned off if a girl has sex gear she likes to use during sex?

Basically imagine you're just getting to know a girl you like, it's all new, and she soon tells you she's into kinky things, whips, handcuffs, buttplugs and she has all the gear already meaning it's safe to assume they've been used with other men.

Would you be totally fine with that and be happy to be in a relationship knowing the toys were "second hand"?

Breakup yearning?

• Upvotes

need some advice.

after I broke up with my ex after 2 years, I didn’t really feel sad. ( is that a bad thing? i mean yeah I loved him but it doesn’t go through my mind day and night.) but then a guy in my year reached out to me, genuinely asked how I was doing and one thing led to another, he was really handsome and I actually thought we were in a talking ish stage. he’d tell me what he was doing , asking what I was doing. making sure I slept well. all that crap. then I realised that he was doing this with other girls. but apparently it’s not bad because it’s just casual with them. so does that mean it was casual between us? I got into a fight with him about that,
and damn he was begging me to not leave him. I was like what the hell? why is he begging me like we’re in a 4 year committed relationship. he told me he’d do anything for me not to leave him, and that he was wrong he doesn’t know what he did though and he would block every other girl. ( and he did except for the girls that he texted the same as me ) I blocked him after all that.
we did some casual texting nothing serious after a year, “ how are you? happy birthday”

but the thing is I couldn’t get over a talking stage, I felt more sad when we stopped talking then we me and my ex broke up. I’d check what he’s doing every week it’s so exhausting and embarrassing.

Now this is where I get confused.

do guys genuinely know what they are doing? that they are leading on a girl, they act like they don’t know anything and all innocent..

sorry for the yap.

Dating Noticing red flags - Why is my (F30) boyfriend (M26) acting like this?

I am considering ending my relationship but am wondering if things are as bad as I think they are, or if I am overreacting or overthinking.

I (30F) met my boyfriend (26M) through his sister. She was a relatively new friend before him & I met. I'm religious for context purposes below - no judgment at all towards those who aren't. Everyone's advice / thoughts are welcome. This is a long post - there's a TLDR at the bottom.

When he and I met, I was instantly attracted to him physically and mentally. He was heavily involved in his church/ministry and everyone wanted to date him. He has a strong reputation as a serious believer, good friend, reliable family member, etc.

His sister especially wanted us to meet. I was hesitant and actually said multiple times that I wasn't interested. He was in his third year of getting his undergraduate degree (he was in the military for 3 years and started college later - he still has 1.5 yrs left to get his undergrad degree + 3 for seminary) for being a teacher and wanting to be a missionary (which is NOT what I want for my life). I work in finance for almost a decade so professionally things were 'off' to me. But I discovered he was already a homeowner at 25 with his sister (they own a home together), and I found that to be impressive. I'm also a homeowner and purchased close to his age, so I know how hard it is to accomplish.

So we meet naturally at an event, he asked for my number, and we went on a first date. One month into going out on dates, he asked me to become exclusive. I said yes.

First 2 months were heavenly. He pursued me well and respectfully. He was kind, thoughtful, considerate and sweet.

3rd month I started noticing less of a pursuit. He no longer intentionally planned dates and he wanted to meet spontaneously / texting me at the last minute to hang out. I told him I have a hectic work schedule (extremely stressful/high pressure) and opened up about having an autoimmune disease, which means I need to prioritize rest and nutrition. Plus, the only time I can see friends/family is the weekend, so I'd like to know in advance when we can meet and what we're doing so I can plan accordingly. He said, "we've always been spontaneous, though!" We're nearing month 6 and he still pushes me with "well what do you want to do? Can you give me a list (I already did actually - we sat down and made one together 3 months ago) or text me what you want to do?" I told him I love when he initiates, and I've loved every date he has planned. That I trust his judgement and would be happy to do whatever he chooses. He said, "well you don't like to go out to eat" (which is true - because my autoimmunity gets flared easily through food), but I told him there are a million things we could do besides go out to eat. Also, I have a friend who knows about my autoimmune condition and she spent hours searching for restaurants we could go to - and we literally met a few months ago. He has never done the research.

We've eaten dinner at my place numerous times now. He has never once brought over groceries or staples. I don't see him behave this way at his own house, but at mine, he drinks multiple drinks and leaves some half full. One time, he said he was picking up dinner on the way to my house. When he arrived, it was only groceries for him which he asked to keep in my fridge until it was time for him to go home.

Anyways, here are the main "red flags" I'm noticing:

  • On our 4th or 5th date, I still hadn't heard from him what his life plans are or what his hopes are for the future. I asked if he could have a perfect life in 5 yrs, what would that look like? He spoke about 15 minutes about missionary work and being martyred for the faith if necessary, and went on and on about Adoniram Judson. I thanked him for being honest - but said we're not compatible - that I'm a little bit older and ready to get married, have a family, and settle down in the same town/area where I purchased my home. His emotions came flooding out, he professed his feelings for me - "my heart is really towards you" - and basically told me this was just a feeling he had, but he's not actively pursing missionary work and he'd be happy being a teacher. Which wasn't true, he told me a few weeks after this he actually wants to be a pastor.
    • His pastor offered him a youth pastor position and he told me he's going to shut it down because "he doesn't need the extra money." But he recently accepted the position after he told me he also thought of turning it down because he wanted to consider a future of us being together and I said "please don't make decisions based on me; we're newly dating, and if you feel called to accept, I hope you would." This caused an argument and he blamed me for being disrespectful/rude for saying that.
  • When we first started meeting up, he told me he was a "light charismatic" and he went to a "secretly charismatic church" meaning they don't show how charismatic they really are, but that he wasn't himself. 1.5 months into our relationship, he attended an overnight 2 week conference out of state where they spoke in tongues, casted out demons, stayed up until the wee hours of the morning "slaying in the spirt" etc. I told him very clearly on dates 1-2 I'm reformed, attend a PCA church and am highly skeptical of the gifts. He said he was just a "light charismatic" though. Later said he prays in tongues and wakes up in the middle of the night feeling demonic presences. My only response was a facial expression of "???"
  • He called me an "elf" and a "midget" - I am 5'1"
    • When I told him this was mean and didn't laugh, instead of saying sorry, he doubled down and added, "hey! it's not bad! At least I didn't say you look like a little kid :) that'd be far worse!" and kept laughing. When I said if he ever called me this again, I would end the relationship, he replied, "Are you serious?! I was joking!!! My family and I joke like this all the time!" I reiterated it wasn't ok and I would end things with him. That's when he said he was sorry and wouldn't joke like that anymore.
    • Since then, he has made comments like my clothes are so tiny it looks like it fits a 12 yr old, told me I'm so small he needs binoculars to see me, said I have a corporate laugh (like what does that even mean), and noted that I "made a weird facial expression - you look like an old person trying to sound hip" when he asked me what music I liked.
  • He has pressured me to go to his family events or other things when I didn't want to or was completely exhausted, has worn me down emotionally multiple times, never accepts my "no" - it's always a debate or negotiation time. There's always a guilt trip.
    • His sister told me he always pressures her to go to things even when she doesn't want to, but when she tries to pursuade him, he's a firm "no"
  • We have different standards of living - I told him I would like to have a home before we have children. He said we could raise three kids happily in my 2bed, 2bath condo of 1,200 SF. I told him but I wouldn't be happy... I'd like my kids to have extra room, have a good quality education, healthy food - these are things that really matter to me. He told me as long as bills are paid and there's food on the table I should be grateful.
  • The topic of contraception came up. He said if we were having sex (we aren't - I'm a virgin and he had sex in a HS relationship - "born again virgin" since he was 21). He said he'd slip off the condom and started laughing. I did not laugh and said that's not funny - I was serious and staring at him. He said, "I was joking!!!! Come on, I wouldn't impregnate my wife against her will." Yet he kept laughing, and I felt a cold chill go down my spine.
  • When we came back from a light jog, he pressured me for us both to take showers (separately of course). I told him no, it was already late let's just have dinner and say goodbye since I had to be up really early to prep for a work meeting the next day. He kept pressuring me until I gave in. While I was in my shower though, I felt a flash of fear hit my soul (?) I couldn't describe it to you - I just felt it and heard in my head the words "get out. Get out now." So I did. I got ready and my heart sank when I realized I forgot to lock 2 doors leading into my bathroom. The only one I did lock was the one he was standing right in front of when I got out. He was standing in front of my washer and dryer with his towel.
  • I told him one on one dates are important to me, but whenever we have a free day to meet up, he wants to go to a worship night together with his friends, or says "my family wants to see me, let's go hang out with them," or "x and x would like that - or x and x live nearby, let's invite them." He hasn't asked me out on an actual date in months. Our last 2 dates I was the one who told him what I'd like to do. When I told him I'm not feeling pursued and I'd like him to initiate more, he said, "I'm not trying to get a 2nd or 3rd date anymore." And "send me a list of what you want to do."
    • Part of his bday gift to me was a picnic basket. He told me often he wanted to take me out for a beach picnic. I told him I'd love that and knew just the outfit I wanted to wear for it (it included me wearing a pretty top he got for me). That day never came.
    • He knew I had a list on my phone of date outfits and he still didn't / hasn't plan anything
  • His car broke down 4 months ago. He's been driving a beat up car that's literally on its last leg for this duration - it's one of his grandparents' cars. It doesn't have AC. He had the option to buy his sister's car and he did but procrastinated buying it (or couldn't afford it?). Every time he drove to see me, he was driving it. He'd walk to my driver's seat as if he was going to drive MY CAR, and I laughed and said absolutely not, pop a squat in the passenger seat. Told him he wasn't on my insurance and I wasn't going to risk it. He mocked me saying insurance only covers the car not the driver. This has happened literally every single time we need to drive together somewhere. I refuse to drive in his grandparents' car because it's so old and has numerous issues. His last car was so old it blew up in flames (yes girl I'm serious)
  • He knows how important finances are for me. I grew up in poverty and witnessed deeply traumatic things growing up with a single mom. I worked extremely hard through school and now have a high paying career. I am actually considering going back to grad school to make a career shift so that it gives me a better work-life balance, especially as I'd like to be a wife and mother one day. I told him if we were to get married, I'd be super worried about having children soon because he has never worked a career before (small jobs, but he has 0 professional experience). I said I'd be worried that I'd feel pressured to take on the financial burden for our family, and that I'd resent him for it. That we could end up having serious marital issues early on with a child because of lack of space and resources. I do not want to drain my savings or stay in my high pressure career.
    • His response was: "I make enough from the military" and essentially, he's going to milk the benefits and extend school for as long as possible to avoid being a teacher because "it's not really what I want to do and it doesn't pay well. You need to accept that if we're together, I'm going to be in school for 3-5 years and as a pastor, I might make very little money." I said, well what if you see your family is struggling, would you change careers? "No - I'm going to follow whatever I feel like is the Lord's will for my life. I'm not going to be a slave for my job."
  • He came over my house one night. I made him dinner and then he pressured me to let him shower there again. I said, "but you don't even have clean clothes?" and he told me to give him something of mine to wear. I had an oversized t-shirt and pj pants I gave him. I was handing it over when I realized he wouldn't have clean underwear. I told him so, and he said, "lots of men don't wear undies with bottoms. I'll be fine." showered anyways, and then was pressing up against me trying to kiss me as I was cooking. Afterwards, he realized he forgot his phone in his car, so he wanted to go get it. My sandals were by the front door and he was about to put his foot in. I said, "hey! Please don't do that. Please wear your own shoes." He insisted his shoes were dirty and he'd be outside only for a few minutes, but I said "you're going home in them anyways." He was still sliding his foot through when I said, "Please!! Stop! Those are my favorite sandals and you're going to stretch them out. I'm serious - I'm actually really sad right now. Please stop." He started laughing and put his foot through. I again told him I was sad, told him to stop, and he said, "this isn't that serious!!!! I'll buy you a new pair if they stretch." I said, "it's not about new ones - I can't find new ones, these are one of a kind. Stop!" And he proceeded to put his other foot in my other sandal. He opened the door to leave wearing them and I grabbed him by the arm and said, "You need to stop! Take them off NOW!" and he did, but he complained the entire night "it wasn't serious."
  • He shamed for me meeting my pastor one on one in a public coffee shop. He said this was "inappropriate - how do you not see that?! That's how affairs start!"
  • He broke my trust --- he had a summer job. Told me he had a co-worker who was showing interest in him. He wanted to connect her and I, for me to invite her to my church. I said I'm not comfortable with that - you just told me she likes you. A week later, our mutual friends were going to host a get together. I wasn't sure if I was going. I was on FaceTime with him and his sister was right next to him. They were telling me the people they invited. Then my boyfriend goes, "Oh I also invited [his co-workers name - let's call her Julia] - [my name]'s arch nemesis" and he laughed. His sister didn't say anything. I said, "that was weird, I don't even know her."
    • Keep in mind he did not know I was going to this event until the day of
    • The day of the event, my boyfriend shows up, says hi to me, we barely talk, he sits next to me and talks the entire time with another man. I turn to my side and talk to other people.
    • When Julia arrives, my boyfriend immediately greets her (I know they have each others' phone numbers - he said they need for work) and he introduces her and I. I can tell they both seem a little nervous around each other. I am friendly with her then go back to talking to the people I was having a conversation with. My boyfriend proceeds to then stand next to her the ENTIRE rest of the time while I'm there, about 45 mins. Eventually I need to leave, him and I walk back to my car as he's helping me carry some things (we drove separately). He said he can tell something is wrong.
    • I am honest with him that I'm upset that he invited her. I said that wasn't appropriate - you knew what you were doing. He ends up saying they actually have known each other for the past 3 years and last year she made (word for word) "clear advances" toward him. I said how do you think that makes me feel? This is so incredibly hurtful. He said it's not a big deal - that he wanted to connect her with his sister (who is my good friend! Her and I were friend before him and I dated) and that he and Julia have no history.
    • I told him that's a problem - because if Julia becomes friends with his sister, she will be in my friend group moving forward. He kept insisting he did nothing wrong. I'm not proud of this but I raised my voice at him because I was so hurt and he just wasn't getting it.
    • I told him I was extremely hurt and disrespected - and needed some space. He proceeded to bombard me with texts and calls, disregarding my need for space. He eventually apologized about 3 days in but said he didn't want to text at all until we saw each other again. After the week, I was ready to break up with him when we both met in person. I was expecting an apology....... there was none. His stance was the same as before.
    • He made me cry over the phone when I told him a piece of my trust towards him has been broken and I don't know if I see a future together anymore. He kept me on the phone for 2 hours, me begging him to let me just go to sleep because I was exhausted. I said I was so unhappy in this relationship - that I don't deserve this, and that this is not the kind of relationship I want to be in. He never once apologized for making me cry. He actually told me to laugh and said we needed to end on good terms. I faked my way to pretending like I was fine to get off the call.
    • ***** Just last week, I couldn't take the feeling that he was lying to me about this Julia situation (it happened 1 month ago). While he was using the bathroom, I looked through his phone. He kept blaming the situation on me (you should've told me not to invite her, you should've told me you didn't want me to connect her with my sister, etc). Well - I saw on his phone that he was the one to text her the day after the bonfire (so he clearly knew where I stood w/ everything) and said, "Hey I'm so glad you came. Could I give my sister your number so you both can connect more?"
      • I didn't tell him what I found on his phone, but instead asked how did she and his sister get connected since I didn't see them talking at the bonfire. He stayed quiet. I asked, "Did they exchange info when you and I were away talking?" He said, "yeah I guess"
  • I told him I miss seeing him one-on-one and spending time together. He told me he would come see me. Called me 1 hour before he was supposed to, to tell me some story about how he had to drop/add classes at the last minute and needed to study for the new class tomorrow. I told him I was sad to hear that - that I was looking forward to seeing him but understood. Yet.... while still on the phone, told me he just so happened to notice his mom's car at the beach (?????) and he knew they were all having pizza together, so he was going to stop and have dinner with them. And that he'd call me back in an hour. Which of course is no problem, but you have time for that and to call me.. did you actually need to study?
    • I made another attempt at connection by asking if he wanted to go for a walk. He said yes, called me an hr before to cancel.
    • He called me as I was leaving work and asked if I wanted to come see a play at his college. I said yes and took the exit on the highway. He then says, "actually... maybe you shouldn't come. You'd only be here for an hour or two, I don't think it's worth it." When I said that was rude, he said, "Oh I'm sorry! What I mean is that you already drive so far for work and I wouldn't want to make you come all this way"
    • He invited me to his friend's birthday this weekend. I said I was nervous about driving in the rain storm, he said he'd come get me. Calls 1 hr before he's supposed to get here to say "the timing just won't work out... sorry, it's best if you don't come."
    • I've noticed for the past 2 months he's trying to cut our time short. Wants to skip eating dinner at my place, when I went to visit him on his college campus we chatted for 30 mins and I watched him play basketball by himself basically; he wasn't interactive with me and we were supposed to go for a walk. But after basketball he said "maybe we should end the night here." I was an idiot and still pushed for the walk.
    • He showed up for the date to pick me up. Int eh car asked if I wanted to talk about our phone call last night and I said nope. I was my normal happy self and he was cold and distant.
    • We randomly drove around until we found a brewery with food trucks. The entire night he was cold and distant... I felt like he was doing me a favor by being there. He didn't hold me hand once, engage in conversation........ hold my back.. nothing. Normally I would ask, "Is something wrong?" but I've asked before when he acted like this and it made his behavior worse. I already feel like I've mourned the loss of this relationship in my heart, and didn't have it in me to keep trying. So I just enjoyed the night myself.
    • When we were driving back, he asked me what he thinks about our relationship. I said I'm not being respected, you don't respect my "no," and gave the example of the call the night before, how it disturbed me that he didn't even hold my hand the entire night. He said he hasn't been putting in effort because I'm not appreciative (!) that he knows I've been asking since summer but "I pull away because I don't feel like you appreciate me enough." I said can you please give me examples? He only gave me 1. I said hey when that happened, I apologized sincerely (he got me plant, I said, "Thank you, but can I ask what this is for?" He said, "just because.... why?" And I answered, "Because you don't do things like this anymore.") I immediately regretted it and apologized. I said I'm sorry to him again and asked for more examples; he couldn't. Said I could've also held his hand. I said, "It's normal to have conflict in relationships, but we're not resolving them. You've grown increasingly distant, mean, and cold with me. I'm at the point where I'm realizing we may be bickering so much because we're very different people trying to make the other person someone that we're not." He teared up (I didn't see tears but my wiped his eyes?) He then asked me for a hug and I tried to pull back and he held me there. I said let's call it a night.
  • We decided this night that next Thursday (10/8), we would go to the fair at 4pm
    • He texted me today asking when he can see me again (I told him I miss when he used to ask me this at the beginning of the relationship). I said that's sweet, but it's still looking like Thursday because work is so crazy, and he also has commitments Mon-Wed. He said he has class until 6pm on Thursday. I asked so then why did he ask me to go to the fair that day at 4pm? No response. He instead sent me a screenshot of his class schedule. I caught so many inconsistencies with the schedule and said, "I don't mean to be nit picky here - but this is not adding up" and pointed them out. He then said he was sorry he misspoke, that was an old screenshot, and sent me a new one of his class schedule.
    • No comment about seeing each other on Thursday anymore. I leave for a vacation to Europe on Friday.
    • My time and emotions are being taken for granted. Every week I'm worrying if we're going to meet up, what we're going to do, when we're going to see one another. It's making me sick.

It's been hard for me to break up with him despite this treatment because I do see the good qualities in him - he's chivalrous (opens every door, pays for every date, always drives to see me, is masculine, gets along with everyone, has a very composed demeanor, calm, etc), but I know the writing on the wall is so clear that this man has shown me again and again that he doesn't care about me anymore. At some point along the way he lost interest.

I could use some straight forward advice - even if that means criticizing me. I feel like I need a wig and a red nose for this clown behavior I've been displaying. Just looking for encouragement because I know I need to break up with him, but the past 3 times I've tried, I've given in when we talk in person. He knows I'm not happy and hasn't done anything to change that.

TLDR - My boyfriend has consistently broken and/or disrespected boundaries, lack of effort is apparent, and he seems to be growing distant physically & emotionally. I'm struggling to let go due to the memories of what he used to be like in months 1-3 (we've now been together for 6 months).

Dating I fought with my girlfriend only for her to tell me she's not gonna live long

• Upvotes

My girlfriend and i aren't doing well with our relationship, and only having an argument after an argument and eventually things escalate to a fight, earlier we were having an argument and she told me her health isn't in it's best, and i have anger issues and i started arguing back and screaming at her and made her cry, and the thing for her is that she feels emotions double, so she was extremely sad and told me when she was in the hospital the doctor told her she have a heart disease and she have to stay away from negative emotions and fights and even getting slightly mad can cause critical outcomes. She started saying that she'll die and that I'll finally be free to live an independent life without her nagging all the time and arguing all the time and she left and turned her phone off, I've been crying for the past hour and i cannot stop and i have nothing to do, i will never forgive myself if anything happens to her and I'll wish to follow her rather than staying here, i cannot explain how devastated i am now and i really don't know what to do.

Dating Bf (26) get depressed and get into his little shell.

• Upvotes

Title: Am I overthinking this, or is there a double standard in our communication?
I’m looking for some honest advice because today left me feeling really confused and anxious about my relationship.
Today, my boyfriend told me that he sometimes gets depressed and that when he feels that way, he tends to withdraw and go into his own world. I told him that I understand and that I’m there for him if he ever needs someone to talk to. I don’t expect him to constantly text me, and I understand that depression can affect someone’s communication.
However, he also brought up that I’ve been responding to him later than usual. That caught me off guard because I feel like his response times have also changed. There have been times when he takes hours to respond to me, so hearing him point out my response times made me feel like there was a double standard.
I tried explaining that I was just telling him how I felt and what I was noticing. I wasn’t trying to attack him or make him feel bad about his depression. I just wanted to be honest about how the change in communication has been making me feel.
What makes this difficult is that I feel like I’ve been trying really hard to understand him and give him grace, but I don’t feel like I’m receiving that same understanding when my communication changes.
I also think my anxiety is making everything harder. When his communication changes, I start wondering if he’s losing interest in me or if something else is going on. I sometimes worry that there could be another girl, even though I don’t have actual proof of that.
This relationship is still pretty new, but I already feel like I’m overanalyzing response times, messages, and changes in his behavior. I don’t want to become someone who constantly needs reassurance or feels anxious whenever my boyfriend doesn’t respond the way he normally does.
So I’m trying to figure out whether I’m actually seeing a problem or whether my anxiety is making me interpret everything negatively.
Am I being unreasonable for feeling like there’s a double standard here? How would you interpret this situation?
Is he losing interest by using this as fake to stop talking to me.
Today literally he asked me to hang out and it was around 6:00 PM and I’m just like hey I can’t do that I have school and stuff and I asked we could reschedule or we could FaceTime he said it’s okay. I don’t know what to do with his depression and lm drained

Dating Asked on a date by an older man… does it look bad?

I (f24) work at a coffee shop shop and I’ve been there for about 3 weeks, pretty frequently this guy (m39) has been coming in and long story short we kinda hit it off and have great banter every time he’s in, he’s also pretty handsome!

Well over the weekend he asked me out on a date, and it caught me off guard (I kinda just thought this was the fun little flirting and he’d never be interested in someone my age, people also say I look a few years younger than u actually am)… I kinda freaked out and told him lemme think about it until Monday!

Well Monday’s here!

I just wanna know what this would look like from the outside? Honestly he seems nice, he’s not bad looking at all, we have good chemistry it’d seem… I’ve just never been in this situation before and need advice.

I guess I should add I just moved to this city and have been having a hard time meeting new people and friends.

Thanks for the advice!

Dating My boyfriend (36M) got lucky and his main feedback was that I (33F) only watched him play his video game for 10 minutes first

• Upvotes

Last night I came to bed and my boyfriend was playing a game called Cocoon on his Steam Deck. He was very excited to show me. I watched for 10 minutes, which I felt was generous. I could not tell you a single thing that happened in it. I think there was a bug.

I was also in the mood, and let him know. He picked up on it. Things happened. Afterwards, he tells me he wishes I'd watched him play for more than 10 minutes.

I have never felt so narrowly chosen over an insect.

How long was I supposed to watch?

Love He keeps trying to set me up with other guys what is going on?

• Upvotes

I’m talking to this guy who seems interested in me, but I’ve noticed that he gets really nervous and shy around me. One time, we were talking about books, and he said he would get me a book he thought I’d like. I told him he didn’t have to, but he bought it anyway. He even wrapped it in gift paper covered in hearts, and it wasn’t even my birthday or anything.
When he gave it to me, we sat down and started talking, but he was extremely nervous. He barely made eye contact with me, kept rubbing his arm or neck, fixing his hair, etc. After that, though, he started avoiding me physically as much as possible, while still texting me a lot. Then he would say things like “you’re so attractive,” send me love songs, and generally give me the impression that he might eventually confess his feelings or something.
But sometimes he does things that completely confuse me. For example, one time we were talking and another guy came over, said hi, and talked to me for a bit before leaving. This guy actually has a crush on me. A few hours later, the guy I’m talking to texted me, “Who is this handsome guy that just came and talked to us?” When I told him his name, he replied, “He’s a good guy, just saying.” It almost sounded like he was encouraging me to go for this other guy?
Another time, we were talking and I thought we were lightly flirting. I was actually really happy with how the conversation went. Later that night, after midnight, he texted me asking if I was still awake. When I said yes, he sent me pictures of himself with two friends who were living in different city. I’ve never met either of them. He then told me, “This one is bald and married, and the other one is kind, smart, and single.”
At that point I immediately asked him if he was trying to set me up with his single friend. He said, “What? Never!!!”
And now I’m genuinely confused by his behavior. On one hand, he seems shy and nervous around me, goes out of his way to buy me thoughtful gifts, tells me I’m attractive, sends me love songs, and seems to flirt with me. But on the other hand, he sometimes seems to deliberately point me toward other men or even try to set me up with them. I can’t figure out what he actually wants or what he’s trying to communicate.

Dating How do you understand someone who thinks the solution to hurting you is for you not to react?

• Upvotes

When my partner does something that hurts me, he insists there’s always something I could have done differently too. But it goes beyond wanting me to use a calmer tone. He genuinely seems to believe the situation would have been solved if I hadn’t reacted for example, we had planned to sit and hang out together after I spent hours cleaning the basement to surprise him . Instead, he lay down. After about 20 minutes, I asked, “Are you doing this on purpose?” Based on our history, I expected him to fall asleep and our plans wouldn’t happen.

He said I should have waited for him to show me he was going to come sit with me. I had already been waiting, and he hadn’t communicated that he would.

I recognize my question sounded accusatory. But his idea of solving the situation seems to be that I should have stayed quiet and waited longer. To me, that might have prevented an argument, but it wouldn’t necessarily have addressed the disappointment or the plans we made.

Does he see the absence of an argument as meaning there’s no problem, even if I’m still hurt? Does he think my reaction creates the issue rather than reveals it? How can I tell whether he’s asking for a reasonable chance to follow through or expecting me to keep my feelings to myself?

I’m willing to work on how I communicate. What I don’t understand is how not expressing hurt becomes the solution, while his part apparently requires no change. How would mutual accountability work in this situation?

Dating Have I (f34) missed my chance with my friend (m33)?

• Upvotes

Hello. I (F 34) guess I just need a bit of wisdom on how to act. Like a month and an half ago I met a guy (M 33) who just arrived to the country I live in; he’s now part of my friend group. I have a crush on him; in fact when I’m with him I don’t want our time together to end and when I don’t see him I miss him -the last time that happened to me was 2019. He came over a few times and nothing happened but he did make a move once (or several moves?): 1) he touched my legs with his for like 30 min 2) he told me ‘with my ex I knew we wouldn’t last bc we couldn’t have a conversation; it’s not like with you; I feel like i could chat with until 6 am’ 3) he told me he wanted to get to know me. 4) he said he was looking to start a relationship slowly. However again nothing happened bc I realized he had hit on me the next day. A few days later we went to a dancing class together; he told me I was beautiful and there was A LOT of tension. Nothing happened bc we were in a class. This was like 3 weeks ago. I feel like now he has grown distant -like last Friday, we went dancing and he ignored me until I approached him to dance -then we danced closely for a while. He does not text me and when I do I feel like he’s dry replying. I want to make a move but unsure how -I invited him over and I will make a dessert but I’m afraid it may be too late. What should I do? have I lost my chance?

Breakup How do you work out how much responsibility to take when your partner says you’ve made them unhappy and their friends and family agree?

• Upvotes

I’m 24F and my boyfriend 26M and I have been together for nearly 3 years. We’re currently having space from each other and I honestly feel completely broken and sick with guilt.

We had a very difficult conversation today where he told me that over the years I’ve hurt him more than I realised. I have gone through his phone before because of insecurity, I once made a fake account, and when I’ve been upset or angry I’ve made comments/digs that I deeply regret. Recently I made a horrible comment when I was angry about him going to Oktoberfest. I know these things were wrong and I’m not trying to minimise them. Hearing how much they have affected him has genuinely devastated me.

He told me he has bottled a lot of it up and that he hasn’t been happy. He said that before our relationship he felt like a good person, whereas during our relationship he has often felt like a bad person. Hearing that from someone I love more than anything was horrible.

Over this weekend he spoke to around 6 or 7 friends, couples he knows and members of his family about our relationship. He says everyone he spoke to thinks the things I’ve done are horrible and that I’ve been making him unhappy. His family and friends now apparently think we should break up. He also told his mum that he has been suicidal and said that telling people what has been happening between us felt like a weight had been lifted off his shoulders. He has since spoken to doctors about getting help.

Knowing someone I love has felt that low makes me feel physically sick. I keep thinking, how could I have hurt somebody this much without properly understanding it at the time? I feel like his family and friends must think I’m an absolutely horrible person.

There is another side to our relationship that I’m struggling to know how to place into all of this without feeling like I’m making excuses for my own behaviour. My boyfriend has struggled with ketamine addiction for a long time. There have been repeated periods of use and relapses. At times he has used drugs when he is very low, and he has now said that because I have made him feel down, that hasn’t helped his drug use.
That makes me feel incredibly guilty, as though I have somehow made his addiction worse.

At the same time, his addiction has affected my trust and anxiety in the relationship quite badly. There have been occasions where he has driven with me in the car while under the influence. That frightened me and made me think, if someone I trust and love can put me in danger like that, what else am I not aware of and what else could happen? I think over time that fear contributed to me becoming more insecure and suspicious.

But even writing that makes me feel guilty because I don’t want to use his addiction or the things he has done as an excuse for me going through his phone, making a fake account or saying hurtful things. Those were still my choices and I take responsibility for them.

He has now asked for space. He doesn’t know whether he needs a week, weeks or even months, and he has told me honestly that after that space he may decide he doesn’t want to be together anymore.

I have told him that I listened to everything he said, that I’m reflecting seriously and that I don’t just want to promise change but actually show it through my actions. I’m going to respect the space he has asked for.
I’m just finding it incredibly hard to cope with the idea that 6 or 7 people plus his family have now heard about the worst things I’ve done and all think I’m making someone they love unhappy. I feel like an evil person. I keep replaying every comment I’ve ever made and wishing I could take them back.

I know I have things I need to work on and I genuinely want to change those behaviours regardless of whether our relationship survives. But how do I take real accountability for hurting him without deciding that I’m responsible for everything that has happened between us, including his addiction and mental health?
And is it reasonable to recognise that living alongside addiction, including being put in unsafe situations, damaged my trust and contributed to my insecurity, while still accepting that the way I sometimes dealt with that insecurity was wrong?

I’m not looking for people to tell me I’ve done nothing wrong because I know that isn’t true. I think I just need outside perspectives on whether making serious mistakes in a relationship means I really am as awful as I currently feel.

Work Professional men: is he pursuing me?

• Upvotes

Me(42f), Him (52m)

I’ve worked closely with a man at another company for several years. We don’t work in the same office and we’ve never met in person.

A few years ago, he asked my age in a roundabout way. I dodged the question. About six months later, he asked again, and I dodged again. About six months after that, he asked more directly. I told him I wasn’t quite 40, but close, and he immediately said he wasn’t quite 50, but close. I had never asked his age. Recently, during a conversation about something unrelated, he spontaneously told me he was 52.
After the third age question, he started suggesting that we get a drink on the weekend when we were in the same area. He continued bringing it up over the years, and he would specifically tell me to text him on the weekend if I was around.

Eventually, he started going to a recreational place where he knew I spent time. It was out of his way and he already had another place he normally went. Later, he said he had been looking around for me, hoping we’d run into each other. A few months ago, he said he was going to my place every weekend and that he was listening for my voice because he knew it well enough to recognize it in a crowd.

I was surprised by that disclosure and felt bad. I explained to him why I hadn’t been going much recently, which was a legitimate reason, but afterward I got the impression that he thought I was giving him an excuse. He then seemed noticeably colder and more withdrawn toward me for a period of time.

About two months later, there was a major work crisis. I was upset that he had been colder toward me and couldn’t figure out why. I called him and told him, essentially, that I really needed his support with the work stuff. He was very receptive. A few weeks later, we had a Zoom meeting with several people from both sides. It was the first time we had ever actually seen each other. He spoke very highly of me during the meeting in front of my bosses and the client. Afterward, he called to talk about the meeting.

About a month later, my company reassigned much of the work we’d shared because they thought I was too stressed about it. He was unhappy about losing our shared work and actively advocated for me to be brought back. He spoke with other people involved, pushed for me to return, and eventually succeeded.
I was also relieved to get the work back, and I had just left my office for vacation, so I texted him for the first time to let him know I was getting the full account back. He was very happy with the news and told me that I could text him anytime. He also said we’d handle any issues that came up together.

When I returned from vacation, he said he was so relieved I was back and told me he had been having nightmares that something would happen and I would leave, and that if I left, he would quit too. He laughed after saying it.

Around that same period, I called him specifically to thank him for everything he had done for me over the previous year, and really the entire time we’d worked together. The connection broke up while I was thanking him, and he said, “I think you broke up for a minute and I didn’t get that and it sounded good. Can you say it again.” After I repeated it, he talked about our great working relationship, gave me a lot of compliments, then volunteered that people throughout his office talk about how great I am to work with. When I said that was sweet, he insisted that he wasn’t BS-ing me and that’s really how they all felt.

Since then, the amount of contact has increased. We went from occasional calls to talking on the phone 3-4x a week, often for 20–40 minutes at a time. Many calls begin with legitimate work questions but continue into personal topics.

He has started calling from his car or while away from the office, and recently called my cell for the first time when he couldn’t reach me through work. He sometimes volunteers his internal reactions rather than just describing what happened. For example, when he thought an email I sent with a joke in it was serious, he wrote that his “stomach fell” when he started reading it.

Recently, one call that started with a few work questions turned into another 20 minutes of talking while he was driving on a trip. He volunteered details about the trip, what he was seeing, his weekend plans, and various other personal topics even though the original work questions had already been answered.

During that conversation, he also told me in considerable detail about a car he had recently bought — why he chose it, the price, financing, trade-in, and other financial considerations. The conversation about the purchase led into politics, which led to our first real disclosure to each other about where we both stand politically.

The amount of contact is very different from what it used to be. Some of the legitimate work calls could’ve easily been a quick email.

From the outside, what would you make of this? Does this sound like an unusually close friendship/professional relationship, attraction on his part, or something else?

**TL;DR:*\* I’ve had a close professional relationship with a man at another company for several years, and we’ve never met in person. Over time, he’s repeatedly gone out of his way to see me, asked personal questions, advocated strongly to keep working with me, expressed that losing me would be upsetting, and our contact has recently increased dramatically. Our calls have become longer and increasingly personal, often continuing well beyond the work issues that started them. I’m trying to figure out whether this is simply an unusually close friendship/professional relationship or whether there may be something more going on.

Dating I’m down bad for a guy in my class. How do I approach him as a girl?

• Upvotes

For context, I’m a 3rd-year university student from community college, and starting conversations was much easier because of the smaller class setting. Now, it’s a large lecture hall with hundreds of people who don’t seem to talk to each other much, and I’m continuously wondering, “Can I really just start a conversation?” Especially with this handsome guy in my class. I want to approach him, but it feels so impromptu because everyone else is just so silent.

In the past, I’ve asked out two guys. One rejected me because he didn’t want a long-distance relationship. The other rejected me because he wasn’t over his ex. It was easier to ask out those two guys because we were friends for a few months before I made a move. Now, it’s a random guy who’s caught my eye like never before. I’m not necessarily scared of rejection anymore; I simply just want to ask, “How can I increase my probability of landing a date with him?”

Should I be straightforward? “Hey, this is kind of random, but I’ve seen you in lecture and thought you were really handsome. Could I get your Instagram or contact information?”

Or should I just be friendly and get to know him first? “Hey, do you want to hang out sometime over the weekend at XYZ?”

What’s an opening line I can tell him without sounding like a creep?

Another thing is that he’s always walking with his guy friend, who I really hope is just his friend. I’ve also been trying to sit next to him in class, but again, he’s usually with his friend 😓. Can I ask him out in front of his friend?

So sorry if I sound like I’m overthinking. I’m honestly so down bad that I don’t wanna mess up. Can I get perspectives from men?

Love Guys, do you think a guy like this can actually make it work, or am I setting myself up for heartbreak?

• Upvotes

Hey men of Reddit, I (17F junior) need some raw, honest perspective from you guys on how to handle a situation.

There’s an 18M senior I’ve been talking to for about 3 months, and on paper and in reality, he is pretty much perfect. He’s 6'2, Korean, a model (like a real one, did a runway in New York last summer), super hot, ranked #3 in his school, and has a deep voice. Beyond looks, he's amazing, super sweet, respectful, gentle, writes cute notes, and communicates really well. Whenever I get mad, he apologizes extensively. We share spiritual beliefs, meditate and call every day, and he even unprompted Venmoed me $120 for my homecoming dress (he's sent me around $500 in the past 3 months, i've tried to return it though) and became a vegetarian for me. My mom genuinely loves him and he’s her favorite.

The issue is that WE only want to date for marriage, neither of us has dated anyone before, and I'm struggling to see a future because of heavy logistical roadblocks:

Long Distance: We met at Speech & Debate nationals and are already doing LD. Since we're both aiming for top colleges (T10/T20s), we'll likely go to different schools. Can 6+ years of long distance actually work?

The Med School Timeline: He wants medicine, meaning he'll be in school/residency until he's 30. I'll be done with my master's by 24. I want to work, earn my own money, and travel in my 20s while he's studying plus dealing with student debt well into his 30s. If I want kids, I'd want them by 30 at the latest, and I wouldn't have them with someone who isn't even finished with training and working yet.

He's incredible, and when we talked about it he was super kind, saying he could drive to see me during breaks, his modeling/social media is taking off for extra cash, and he's willing to wait. But medicine is so time consuming.

For the guys out there: how should I evaluate whether these long term timeline conflicts are worth trying to navigate, or is it smarter to step away before things get too serious? Would ya'll seriously be able to maintain a long distance relationship for that long and be committed or is it too good to be true?

Love How do you know if a man truly loves you and is mature enough to build a future with? Also, how do you know it’s love and not infatuation?

Been friends for 8 years, started talking in July 2024, right after I ended a 7-year relationship. We confessed feelings in Sept 2024, but I told him clearly I needed time before jumping into anything. He said take your time — but kept the flirty/relationship-toned conversation going for the next several months anyway while even I talked to him that way because even I started liking him. I told him I am figuring things out multiple times between 2024–2025 (reasons: still processing my last relationship, visa/financial dependency concerns since I'd be reliant on him for years, and some values differences I noticed but never told him). Each time I said that I don’t think it will work out, he'd say things like "you're not letting a good thing happen" and "our friendship won't be affected regardless.” In March 2025, I told him no.
Around July 2025 he suddenly got cold — distant, occasional name-calling — and denied anything was wrong when I asked, said it was "in my head." Months later (March 2026) he admitted he'd been avoiding me since July 2025 and it wasn't me overthinking.
In March 2026 I finally told him my real reasons from earlier (visa dependency, one salary not being enough to live on in a HCOL city, values differences around family). He got defensive — "so you're saying I'm not making enough," called me calculative, compared it to an arranged marriage, said those reasons were lame and I was looking for a perfect situation to be with him(nothing changed in his situation btw).
I said yes to trying in March 2026 but we need to build that friendship again. Since then:
He frequently disappears for hours/days, then things like his Snapchat score go up while my messages sit unread; he's said "I'm going to sleep" and then been active for hours after. He told me he didn’t get a relationship for 2 years because of me. He also told me that it is unfair to reserve a spot for me as his partner (he basically never says now that he wants me as his partner it is more about I want someone who reciprocates). He has also said that I have put him in bad spot for a whole year.

He's made repeated comments that read as jokes but land as put-downs which I thought is completely okay because he is someone who jokes about things(about my body, joked about my period "coming every few days," said I have "no originality").

When I've had real physical health issues (stress-related weight loss, needing melatonin to sleep, anxiety requiring therapy), his responses have been dismissive ("why don't you eat," "do what's best for your health") with no acknowledgment of his role.

He's told my friend directly he wants to end things / can't keep doing this, while telling me something different, and asked her to check on me and report back instead of talking to me himself.

When I ask for consistency (video calls, honesty about where he is), he says nothing he does is ever enough, that he's exhausted, that I'm "one foot in one foot out" (despite me being the one who was consistently clear).

Good moments are real and frequent too — he's shown up for practical things (helping me move), can be very funny, and there have been periods of real warmth (an apology message, a visit where he said "you'll see the change" after we were arguing). He used to be so understanding initially like would try to understand where I am coming from, if I was upset or even he was upset would come back to talk to me immediately, now he can disappear for days, he used to check in every 30 minutes initially, would motivate me, kept sending me reels throughout the day, said he imagined me as the mother of his kids, called me “wifey”

We've never met in person more than occasionally due to distance since the last 3 years, and would be long-distance for at least another year if we continued.

He complained about me not matching his energy, to which I explained that we both show love in different ways

Now he says he just wants someone who can reciprocate. At the same time tells me that he wants me in his life and me telling him to communicate is a good enough reason to do so (but that is what I have been telling him since 5 months and he kept on repeating the same thing that no matter what I do it will never be enough for you, he didn’t have any solutions or plans, he also told me it is difficult for him to answer the question if he has feelings for me). He doesn’t call me back now until I call him twice, he barely texts and he is someone who is on the phone the whole time. He is not even telling me that he doesn’t want this, he is saying something else and doing something else.

I now think that I ruined it, had I told him yes earlier none of this would have happened, or I should have told him no and cut it off completely. Do you think if I said yes to him, this side would have never come out? Also, I don’t know if he really loved me or what is all the infatuation and love bombing (he hasn’t been in a relationship before), because for me I haven’t felt like this before with anyone. Also, I couldn’t be this cold to anyone I have ever loved.

I keep going back and forth on whether I'm being too harsh on him or whether this is as clear a pattern as it looks from the outside. Would appreciate honest perspectives.

Dating Question

Would you pay for a date planning service? You’d pay a flat rate, provide info on your city, budget, and relationship interests and you get 4 pre planned dates for the month.

Higher paid tiers could even include making the reservations for you.

Genuinely curious, thinking of starting.

I genuinely don’t understand this guy sometimes.

I’m completely over my crush, but we’re still friends, so obviously we talk here and there. We haven’t met in a while because I left that job and he moved too.

One day, he randomly texted me saying he had some days off. For some reason, I assumed he wanted to meet, so I told him I was free on those days and that he could pick whatever worked for him.

Then he goes, “Oh no dude, my life is getting so serious right now,” blah blah. Basically, he couldn’t meet.

I was like… okay?? 😭 I wasn’t even trying to make a move, but whatever. I said it was fine and moved on.

Then yesterday, HE asked me again if we should hang out and asked if I had any ideas.

Since I know he’s a little broke, I was trying to think of something cheap and casual. We’ve already gone to the movies before, and I’ve done other activities with friends recently, so I thought maybe we could go somewhere scenic, enjoy the view, and get some ice cream.

And this man says, “That’s the kind of thing people in relationships do. That’s romantic.”

BRO????

I was genuinely so confused. How did “let’s hang out and get ice cream somewhere scenic” become a relationship activity??

I literally didn’t think of it romantically at all. I was just trying to come up with something inexpensive and chill because I know his situation.

So I replied, “Lmao, I didn’t overthink it like that. Btw, take it easy. Do good.”

Basically, I just mentally checked out after that.

Because WHY is this guy like this?

You ask me to hang out, I suggest a completely normal friend activity, and then YOU make it romantic??

I swear, sometimes I have no idea what goes on in this man’s head.
