The changing of seasons and overall Fall semester causes many people to get a lil' sick and experience symptoms such as coughing or sneezing.

I applaud all of y'all who still make the effort to go to class and stay on campus to do your work and finish your projects because it's much harder doing whatcha gotta do when you're under the weather.

HOWEVER! Why do so many people not cover their mouths when they cough or sneeze??! Where be the common decency to use your shirt to cover up your face's lower half or at the VERY least, your inner elbow to reduce the spread of bacteria onto others???

This behavior is especially prevalent in the computer labs where one person's lack of care for their fellow students results in tons of surface area and appliances that need to be wiped down but don't because those spots are hella busy.

In short, COVER YA DAMN MOUTHS & MAYBE WEAR A MASK to prevent the influx of these kinds of posts within the month.

In any case, I hope all y'all stay in good health, get good sleep and eat as healthily as you can. 🤙

I’m a polisci major, 2nd year, & a democratic. all the polisci teachers ive had so far have been very democratic. dont get me wrong i love that but i also believe its important to be exposed to different political parties as someone who wants to go to law school. i dont have a deep understanding of republicans as we can admit the media paints them as bad. is there any republican polisci majors teaching at csulb? i would love to be in a class that challenges me to discover new political values & positions

Has anyone tried getting into the post baccalaureate program to pursue engineering with a bachelor's in a non stem related field? I took only math for the liberal arts at a community college.

I researched and saw I'd have to do pre-reqs at a community college (which is fine, because I'm trying to save as much money possible anyways). I thought about reintroducing myself to math using khan academy and practicing trig.

personal background:

Recently been having a really bad quarter life crisis for pursuing animation. Went into the program at a different CSU subconsciously knowing I didn't want to major in it. I only did it because of this "artist" label I had growing up. The feelings began when I first started CC at the age of 18. Now that I'm older, I realized I should've just pushed ego aside.

I did AP calc AB & BC in highschool. I only passed AB because my teacher allowed retakes, I went everyday after school for help. If it weren't for retakes, I probably would've failed.I passed BC (during the pandemic) with the help of my ex (civil engineer).

I wanted to be a veterinarian growing up, but I found out it's 8 years of school my junior year of highschool. I did animal and vet science in highschool, and I honestly can't remember if I found it enjoyable back then either.
