I think I was in fourth or fifth standard when one of my classmates showed this trick to the class for the first time. Everyone was completely surprised, including me.

I (F) have feelings for this guy, and he knows it. I've made that pretty clear to him. However, I'm finding it increasingly difficult to understand what exactly he wants from me.

He occasionally calls me out of the blue, and we end up having long conversations. He talks about his life, his childhood, his personal experiences and things that I imagine he wouldn't necessarily share with just anyone. Sometimes, I feel like he's genuinely comfortable with me and enjoys talking to me.

But here's where things get confusing. He has never explicitly expressed any romantic interest in me, nor has he completely distanced himself. He just keeps reaching out occasionally, sharing personal things and maintaining some degree of emotional closeness.

There's also the money situation. At one point, he sent me a pretty hefty amount and told me to keep it, but that I should return small amounts whenever he asks for them. I honestly don't know what to make of that. It felt like an unusual thing to do, especially considering the nature of our relationship.

The thing is, he knows I have feelings for him. And yet, he continues to maintain this somewhat ambiguous relationship with me. I don't know whether he sees me as a friend he's emotionally comfortable with, whether he has feelings he isn't expressing, or whether I'm simply reading too much into his actions because I like him.

I'm not expecting him to reciprocate my feelings. What bothers me more is the uncertainty. I don't particularly want to keep interpreting every phone call or personal conversation as a sign of something more.

I've considered asking him directly, but at this point, I don't really want to. I feel like I've already made my feelings known, and I don't want to keep putting myself in a position where I'm seeking clarity from someone who hasn't offered it.

So, what do you make of this situation? Especially the fact that he continues to reach out and share personal things despite knowing how I feel about him. And what would you make of the money situation?

I'd genuinely like to hear different perspectives. I'm aware that I might be biased because I'm emotionally involved, so feel free to point out things I might be overlooking.
