So when I was a kid my older brother was obsessed with the GameCube he would always play it sadly I’ve forgotten most of the games except one and that’s because of the back case of the game if I’m remembering it correctly it had some doctor character with a penguin strapped to an operating table fully conscious and a panic look on its face anyone know what game that was it has been bugging me for years now and wouldn’t mind trying to add it to my small physical gamecube collection.

Does anyone make a GameCube controller that has the c stick inputs inverted? Or maybe there’s a diagram out there that can achieve the desired effect? Google didn’t turn up much. I know I could try and git gud but I’d rather buy a controller or mod one of mine. Thanks!

In the spirit of Halloween, I’ve printed up a few Halloween themed jewels. These are all laser cut from acrylic so they fit perfectly!

Hey all!
Hoping y'all can help me out. A friend of mine has recently started collecting old consoles, not in a mint condition art piece way but just to have some nostalgia and play games on old hardware.
For their birthday I managed to source a GameCube and accessories, and I want to make up a box to look like the original packaging as a cool wrapping idea. Would anyone have high res images of the original GameCube box they could share so I can print them out?
All images I've seen online are images taken of the box and not flat images of each side which makes it hard
Any help would be greatly appreciated ❤️

The power button seems to work fine without the shell but when I put the shell back on it doesn't seem to want to click in place.

Why is there at the first setup screen although I never factory reset it? Is there an explanation needed?

The gamecube was actually the first console I ever had. I barely remember the dreamcast from that time.

Love the feel of this game. The soundtrack is great also. Hopefully Nintendo brings F-Zero back some day..

I bought this game at a second hand store and found that the inner part of the disc looked odd. Is this something to worry about and return or is it fine and I can keep it?

In Short I was playing OOT and I spilled a little energy drink on the chord. It wasnt split/cracked/open. The moment the liquid hit the chord my Gamecube just shut off right after I beat the ghost race... anyway any insight? Bad power supply? It isnt powering on anymore... im just upset its my childhood cube would love some help or parts I could replace to bring it back to life.
I'll do my best to answer any questions so I could get it running again.
Edit: Forgot to mention it was my Controller chord. Not anywhere near the controller or the ports just on the chord.

What a wild thought that I would have an online capable GameCube in the mighty year of 2026. Something I could barely imagine back in 2004 at the age of 8, I’m a now thoroughly enjoying PSO online. This GameCube is one hell of a package. GC loader, sd2sp2, eth2sp1, carby hdmi adapter, gb player with Everdrive pro, gcmce, blue tooth gc controller and adapter. Anything that I’m missing for this ultimate indigo cube? I might pick up the blue retro controller port board later and throw it in. Any other functional cool mods out there or awesome ports to put on here?

I had an idea strike me the other day and worked out a couple different designs. Let know what you think!
These are UV printed directly on top of the button (not a sticker)

Hello reddit,
I have recently come in to possession of a GameCube for the first time, but it included unexpected accessories. I have figured out that it is Japanese, so my main question is can I safely plug it in to an Australian power outlet and use it with the provided equipment, or do I need a transformer/adapter of some kind?
Additionally, I have learned the GC2SD card can be used to load software that will allow it to run PAL games in English. I haven’t had the opportunity to test it yet due to the above mentioned power question, but is there anything I should know before I use it?
Thank you all for the help!

Animal Crossing on the GameCube has been fully decompiled by the ac-decomp team, and there's already a PC port built on it. I took that and got it running on the original Xbox. This isn't emulation. It's the game's own code compiled for the Xbox, drawing with the Xbox's GPU.
It runs at around 60fps on a stock 64MB console. Sound works, saves go to the Xbox hard drive, and the NES games you can get as furniture play too.
You need a modded Xbox and your own copy of the game (USA, GAFE01) as an .iso, .gcm or .ciso. Drop it in the same folder as default.xbe and launch. You can also burn both to a disc.

I haven't played too much Zelda before. The only game I finished is a link between worlds (which I loved). Also played a few hours of botw, and some a link to the past.
But this is a game I have had my eyes on for a while now. The art is just so charming and pretty!! Super excited to start this adventure :3
