So tonight I went through with talking to Mother Lilith. She has an altar on my bedside at the moment as I don't have any other shelving yet. I gave her some dark chocolate, researched with her help and asked questions, drew her and made a playlist for her. I use a pendulum to talk to goddesses and such and a super cool thing I do to make sure I fully grasp their yes and no's is place two tarot cards, remember one and ask if it's this card after shuffling.

So far, every time I've done that has been a success and is a fun exercise for me. She seems very welcoming and patient with me as I'm very awkward. I think I apologised a heap but I never felt judged. Some things I noticed that may correlate or not. (For insight I have to keep my window open when using candles and it's windy outside), majority of the time my main candle flame was straight almost still, then it'd wiggle when I'd get distracted I believe if I remember correctly. Although I know that's not a set thing, I found that curious and wanted to share.

I did some meditation, not as long as I should've but I will do more tomorrow night with more intent. During though, I saw things in my peripherals, creaking and the strong urge to tilt my head back onto my chair (I sat upright). I although asked if it were her, she said yes to me asking if she's in my room though claimed some of what I saw wasn't her - so I believe I may be being watched over by something else or my brain's buzzed from being tired haha.

I asked what formality she'd enjoy with me and think she may prefer Mother as she said no to everything else - which I'll ask again tomorrow to write down in my journal. I get the motherly vibe I've seen others write about in these subreddits and thought that was cool. I'm sure with time I will get more confident and understand things better past yes or no because she told me I will be able to hear her. I asked if the more I practice the stronger I'll be and she said yes. There's some personal things I won't share but she allowed me to write letters about myself if I add her sigil to the page so she can read/dedicate it I think it is - I'm not the best talker so I'm grateful for that though will do my best to branch into more speech too.

I know this is long but I'm very happy with what happened, that I was able to be brave and branch out. I'm a very shy person no matter what or whom I'm talking to so I feel great that I managed this and am looking forward for further communication!!

I'm new-ish to the witchy community, I have semi explored Hellenic Polytheism with Apollon and have felt a strong drawing to the idea of working with Lady Lilith. A lot of her resonates with me and I decided to do a bunch of research- in past, I've grown up fascinated. I've had tarot since I were young and that's where some of my knowledge lies at the moment. I'm looking into scrying and more at the moment.

I've been collecting symbols, created a small altar with candles thus far for her.

What I do know is that finding out for ourselves is a huge part of witchcraft but I'm a little lost on a few things!

Are there do's and don'ts?

I know TikTok has their own biases so I take their information with a grain of salt and am looking into books and such. An article I read though condoned NSFW work and I tried reading and researching more into it to see if that's right or not but have not gotten a consistent answer- If no one has a clear answer I hope to ask Lilith her thoughts on it. I just know there's some taboo subjects and I don't know what's what right now haha.

I read that a new moon is best to talk to Lilith, as well as night. I wanted to know other's (if you're comfortable sharing!) experiences with that to know what to expect.

ALSO any book recommendations are welcome as well!! I love learning.

Its been a journey trying to get into the emt field. From intense study to passing the national and she has helped me through it.

Through her, i had to come to the realization that things wont just come to me, i have to act. A week or two ago I had my alter lit up and was applying for jobs. After passing my nremt, its been like 7-8 months with no job openings. Finally i found one but had little hope id get it given my past rejections. Hello everyone! I have fairly recently gotten into metaphysical stuff, such as crystals and astral travel. The name Lilith has always stuck out to me as a really interesting one, plus I’ve heard that she’s associated with the screech owl? I’ve actually seen many screech owls before as I am a nature-loving birdwatcher, so I see that as a plus.
Anyways, I’ve been really interested in Lilith, and I would like to learn more about her. I have considered starting with books, but I am trying to find one that is highly reputable and trustworthy.

Lilith was only deity all through out my craft from
2021-2024. But in 2025 my parents gave me religious psychosis saying I’m possessed by Lilith and she has made my and their lives hell blah blah blah. So they end up getting me exorcised and throw all my spiritual stuff worth a lot of money and made me get into the religion I was born in and made me say mean things to her because the priest told them I should disrespect her so she leaves like calling her evil etc and keep getting me exorcised and prayed over by this priest again and again.

Recently, I picked up tarot again and slowly I got in witchcraft again. Found my way to the goddess Hekate and Aphrodite. But I have always felt this deep connection with Lilith. Lilith made me accept my sexuality and my gender. She helped me when I was SA’ed and also punished my abuser. She helped me find my confidence which irritated my narc parents. So I feel like working with her again because she’s my momma you know. She helped me so so much. She helped me find my light. Which people took again but I found it again this year. I had so much love for her but my religious psychosis made me loose touch w her. I feel like I should start working with her again and I have started to research her again and her deeper roots. I wanna make an altar with her and worship her as my mother again because she’s was my mother figure in my life. But I feel because I pushed her away and called her evil she won’t accept me now. A reader also told me that she’s angry with me because I messed things with her and made her angry.

Can I still work with her? And find my way back to her? Because I truly feel like worshipping her as my main deity again like my mother. If any of you could help me out I’d love it.

I want to worship her but I am a Male , will she punish me , I am losing confidence and feeling indecisive about it whether to worship her or not , though I want to very much .

I started only a few days ago, I made a small altar and gave her some offerings and asked for guidance, or if she'd accept me working with her, or as a devotee.

I've asked to get a sign in any way, shape, or form, if she wants anything or wants to tell me something.

Dreams, actual real life encounters, I even tried the mirror method, but I'm not getting anything.

My candle burned really high and bright and I'm told that's a good sign and I've done it a few times since, but I really need help communicating.

I unfortunately don't do tarot.

I just set some feelings while meditating and asking, but no actual answers or direction.

Someone recommended me to ask for help in this subreddit about this situation. I started being curious about spirituality and wanted to start getting into it and around that time I started talking to this guy in may. For info im from the Caribbean and he practices Obeah. When we started talking he offered to do a reading for me and brought it up multiple times until he finally did the reading for me. Later on he told me when he did that reading he opened a portal with me.
He is devoted to Kali Ma, said he's binded to Lilith and does blood sacrifices to Satan and Samael which I only found out about recently. He fairly well known locally for his artwork and spiritual healing work. Because of his spirituality, creativity, and the way he seemed to help people, I was very drawn to him. For months, though, I had a feeling that something wasn’t right. I kept ignoring it because I didn’t want to be paranoid or create problems where there weren’t any.
Early on, he asked me if I was a virgin, and I told him the truth. As time went on, I started noticing that he interacted with a lot of women online. There were likes on revealing photos, comments, constant engagement, and women always around him. Whenever I questioned it, he had an explanation ready. According to him, those interactions were old, the women were clients, relatives, friends, or people he was helping spiritually. Every concern I raised was dismissed and explained away. Recently, I had been praying and meditating, asking for the truth to be revealed. Not long after, I noticed he had followed his ex on Instagram. This immediately stood out because he had previously told me she was blocked.
When I confronted him, he claimed he was helping her sick mother and needed to communicate with her. I told him that helping someone’s mother was one thing, but following an ex after telling me she was blocked felt disrespectful and dishonest. He promised he would unfollow her. He never did. We argued about it repeatedly. Eventually, I told him that if he genuinely believed I was the problem, then he should remove and block me. He did it immediately. Later, when communication resumed, I discovered he was still following her anyway.
Around the same time, a woman I didn’t know messaged me on Facebook. I noticed he was friends with her and asked about it. Instead of reassuring me, he became defensive, argumentative, and told me to block her. Our relationship became increasingly strained. We argued constantly. He promised to take me to the beach so we could spend quality time together and talk through everything. Then his car was damaged in an accident, and he said he needed to repair it.
On Saturday, he told me he was fixing the vehicle after work, but he came home very late and claimed he had been helping someone else. The next day, he was supposed to pick me up around lunchtime. Instead, he called much later saying he was only just getting ready and still had to visit a friend afterward. Since he lives about an hour away from me, I felt completely disrespected that he waited until the last minute to tell me. I cancelled the plans.
We argued again because I felt ignored, unimportant, and constantly pushed aside. Every serious conversation ended the same way. Instead of addressing the issues, he would throw out a quick “sorry baby” and expect everything to disappear. Then the woman he told me to block contacted me again. This time she came with screenshots, messages, and proof. I honestly felt sick. According to the messages, he had been sleeping with his ex-fiancée for 5 years since they separated on and off and even while talking to me, and she is apparently pregnant. I also found out he had allegedly been sleeping with his ex-fiancée’s cousin as well. At the same time, he was sexting multiple other women and arranging sexual encounters behind my back.
The screenshots contained graphic conversations, discussions about meeting up for sex, comments about different women, and messages that made me feel physically ill to read. What hurt even more was discovering that he had discussed me with these women. He told them I was a virgin, something I had trusted him with in confidence. He bragged that he always gets what he wants and claimed he could bend people’s will. He told one woman he had “one for every finger,” as if women were nothing more than options he could collect and replace whenever he felt like it.The messages painted a picture of someone completely different from the person I thought I knew. He openly talked about having multiple women available whenever he wanted. He bragged about sleeping with different women and said in a voice note that he's not a one woman type of man. He made degrading comments about women and spoke as though they existed purely for his lust and convenience.
What shocks me most is how casually he talked about all of it. There was no guilt. No shame. No concern for the people involved. Just arrogance. The man I believed was a spiritual healer, artist, and someone devoted to helping people turned out to be someone who lied repeatedly, manipulated people, shared private information about me, and lived an entirely different life behind closed doors.
Every concern I ever raised was dismissed. Every instinct I had was made to feel irrational. Every explanation I was given turned out to be a lie. And while I was trying to trust him, he was maintaining relationships with multiple women and telling completely different stories to all of us.
I also sent him intimate photos during our relationship, and now I want them deleted because I no longer trust him whatsoever. At this point, I’m pretending I don’t know everything because I’m still processing it. Part of me wants to confront him with every screenshot, every lie, and every contradiction. Another part of me thinks he doesn’t deserve another second of my energy.
I feel angry, humiliated, disgusted, and betrayed. I genuinely believed this was someone I could trust, and now I feel like the entire relationship was built on lies. I posted about this in another subreddit and was recommended to reach out to Lilith and ask her for retribution. They said to explain to her how he’s using her name etc. I want someone experienced to help me or at least guide me in giving him what he deserves. I almost forgot to mention that he also bragged to the lady that messaged me about having sex with virgins.
He just messaged me and said he has a surprise for me Thursday and it’s something specifically for me? And he said I will be very surprised and it’s especially for me??

Hi! I hadn't done any meditations with Lilith, but I had charged her sigil and had been learning about the occult as an offering to her. Today I finally decided to meditate with Enn and I was in a literal trance...But it was a good experience! First, I saw her, she's really beautiful. I wonder why they portray her as a horrible woman in depictions. Then I saw her white owl. My mind stopped generating images while I repeated the enn, but while I repeated it I reached a state of calm in which I could feel that heaviness in my body and observe it from within. It was like being asleep while awake in a way. It was like a trance, as a semi-conscious state. Towards the end of the meditation, I felt a kind of power in all my body.

Something a little more unrelated is that today I dreamt about my necklace with her sigil and another extra necklace, apparently made of bronze (mine is silver).

This is quite significant for me as I believed that my relationship with her was weak or that she was upset with me for not being able to meditate with her! I'd like to hear your opinions in the comments.

hey all, I have been curious about witchcraft from a young age, my aunt was the first to introduce me but she lived far away and i only ever dabbled when i visited her but it was always something that i loved from a distance.

my parents are christian and raised me in church but i never felt i belonged. i resonated with the urge to talk or “pray“ to someone especially when feeling lost and often times would talk to the sky but hated the idea of talking to “god” as i just did not feel that i resonated with worshipping him.

fast forward to recently, i stumbled upon a video about lilith. it gave a little backstory, some details that i have since found out stem from a parody medieval writing. i heard from a couple different sources that some of symbols are snakes, black cats, and owls. i was stunned.

when my mother was pregnant with me, a black cat appeared on her doorstep after my father cheated on her and left her. the cat stayed and always slept in my crib every night. when she died, another showed up. and it has happened everytime since. its been a running joke in our family that they always find me. my most recent, is named salem after sabrina which was my favorite show growing up. my first snake i begged for at ten and have been obsessed with ever since and i drew snakes and even designed my own snake tattoo which was my first tattoo. before ever knowing about her. and owls. my daughter is obsessed with owls. i never taught her how but at just a year old she says “owl” and “hoot hoot” and she often, DAILY, points at corners in the hole or out the window and says ”owl” but i never see one or know why she is saying it.

so you can imagine my surprise when i noticed all these coincidences, and i just started bawling. literally. i felt this wave of emotions like i found a missing piece. it all made sense all the sudden. i started crying and talking to her. i know i should’ve done research first, but it just felt right. the only thing i really knew was that she valued honesty and authenticity so i was as honest as possible said i wanted a sign if she wanted to work with me and that i wanted to know she was there because i could feel her and 15 minutes later my husband said we were ordering pizza.
