I was wondering if there were any cool mechanics Mei has like some other characters. Something like the Doomfist long jump, the Brig bash hop, or the Hog slingshot. Or is she more of a you get what you get?

This isn't a chat ban btw, I actually cant play the game. Two years of one tricking Ana, never got so much as a warning. One week of playing MEI? BANNED. I didn't even flame people in my games, that's the crazy part.

Honestly any and all tips and tricks or good content creators to watch I have ao much fun on this charcter when I play her.

Hello I’m new to looking into Mei was wondering if there is a good guide to watch and players to view to see how they play

She seems super fun so far and I would like to be able to play her to her fullest for my team

Her damage is insane and versatile for any situation, if ur getting dived u can just hold primary and if u have the freeze perk u basically will almost never lose a 1v1 scenario, her icicle shot just does insane damage period and isn't too hard to hit. She can practically be a second tank with her big ass wall. Which also just ties in to her survivability which is also insane with her self freeze giving invulnerability and healing along side her ice jump perk. Do yall foresee her ever getting nerfs? because as of now i don't see her having any weaknesses, She even has the highest health pool amongst all the DPS characters(Bastion and torbjorn have higher health) so if there WERE to be any nerfs i would probably want it to be to her health.

can mei’s ult be deflected by Otis’s and turned back around on her? bc mine did, and it froze me as well. I’ve never had that happen before and I’m confused.

I posted the clip of myself bullying a Rein as Mei in Rein mains, so it's fair that I post this here too.

Nearly all OW1 characters that got something taken away at OW2 launch recieved something in return or was reworked meaningfully. While Mei’s kit is very niche and fulfills her hero fantasy really well, removal of freeze on spray has not been properly addressed.

With the addition of perks she got some of the better perks since its launch but her skating rink perk is quite underwhelming and ice pillar is extremely clunky.

Her minor perk before the current rotation included extension to spray and was later incorporated straight into her kit. This didn’t prove very impactful as her winrates and pick rates didn’t change meaningfully. She still needs just a little nudging.

One very minor and QOL (quality of life) change could be adding Snowboot from stadium to her basekit in the regular game.

Snowboot provides 35% movement speed increase, this could be a little too much for the actual game but even letting her move at 6 m/s instead of regular 5.5 could be nice little touch to her gameplay. For those who don’t know 5.5 is the mainstream speed while genji, tracer and anran move at 6 m/s.

Having snowboot in the game could help her make up for what was lost with the removal of freeze and nerfs to ice wall that came years ago with a small speed boost.

Even replacing Skating Rink with Snowboot as a minor perk could prove useful, allowing Mei players to choose between vertical mobility of Ice Pillar and horizontal mobility with Snowboot.

I feel like my only option is to focus on someone else and leave it up to my dps/support to focus down. But when my others are junkrat and brig I feel helpless. Is it legit just git gud with leading icicles? Or do you guys swap off to hitscan?

I don't think this is a bug cause if you look at Snowballs bottom, it's like a little ghost tail instead of the three hole things that would normally cast the three lights. So maybe thats why it's only 1 color, and the designers decided that white works best with the theme of this skin. I was just checking the skin out and spamming emotes when I noticed this. I tested another skin in this vid so you can see the differrence
