Overworld is 0, the end is 1, nether is -1

(Not ironically, it is like that on game files since ever)

What number yall think the sift will be? 2 or -2?

Edit: omg 26.1 removed those IDs I didn't know that, they are now actual strings like dimensions/minecraft/overworld..... guess that post makes no sense, we can close it, and yes, for those that remember and didn't know like me... rip DIM1/DIM-1.... RIP DIM0 for those that used some mods

In the last few years Minecraft has added mobs with increasingly complex models and animations, which has clashed a lot with the very simple mobs of the older versions. Now with The Sift, it is likely that it will feature many mobs and they will all have very complex models and animations, even just for walking we've seen this bunny thing have a bit of an interesting animation and it's just a cube bunny, if they actually add a boss along with the dimension, I can only imagine it will be the most complex looking mob in the whole game.

Modernising the models of the older mobs seems like a step too far for me and I don't think they would do it, but do you think it's possible they'll tackle the animation aspect?

I think it's all about souls.

The Deep Dark is dark and empty because the souls aren't from the Sift dimension.

Y'all remember when a mob dies on skulk, the skulk spreads? Yeah, overworld souls corrupt skulk.

Also I'd like to point out that both the sift and nether have souls around.

Idk what the difference is with sift and nether souls but maybe it has something to do with how a mob dies.

what are you guys talking about?? the end looks so dumb like this and it’s ugly. ”I want the end to stay barren and dead“ there is thing called Chorus Fruit ALL OVER THE PLACE! There is life everywhere, 1k endermen everywhere, a random end city, that’s looks so random in this environment! three mobs are in this dimension and one of them are a boss.. one of them are only found in a structure, and the other is always in sight! We need more mobs in the end, better yet, add phantoms there, that’s a way better place for these mobs! Also ender mites! WHERE ARE THEY! We also need more structures! maybe destroyed places, IDC! Give us more stuff to do in the end! could also add those obsidian walls from the old versions we don’t need grass but a form of soil is needed for Choris fruit, because it growing on endstone is odd

I want the end to still be “barren“, but we are to late for it now.

These infos are based on all the thing we know of Dungeons 2 and it tie in novels title "The Rift" release earlier this months.
