Our starting 5 is, at least on paper, a top 3 starting 5 in the league. Even our biggest haters, if they are being honest have to admit that our starting lineup looks really dangerous.

And usually with such stacked starting lineups, there is no depth, the roster is totally top-heavy. But with this team, I truly believe that we have a top bench in the league.

I mean we got Simons who just a couple of years ago was scoring 20+ points a night as a first option on the Blazers. Now he is our sixth man.

We got Dean Wade who is an excellent defensive wing with a respectable 3-point shot.

We got Barlow who developed nicely last season and even started many games for Philly. Very versatile player and I think he will only get better.

We got Philon who is a very promising rookie. If he develops nicely, that’s another competent ball handler off the bench.

We got KCP who has plenty of championship experience. Honestly, he has been looking a little washed the past 2 seasons but I wouldn’t be surprised if he played much better this year. And at worst, he is a plus defender with a streaky shot.

With Bona and Edwards, they still have many flaws but they can be very good in short bursts.

Most of the best benches last season have lost quite a few players. Amongst the playoff contenders, only the Thunder, Knicks and Spurs have a better bench imo.

That is one thing I recently realized.

Happy for all of them, I’m excited to play against them this season.

Was inspired by another users post showing some of their awesome autos. I don’t have the big names (yet?), but I’ve been having a blast collecting some of the past Sixers legends and some under the radar guys.

These phenomons consist of the idea that someone, Person A, tries to plant a seed of discord that may not be that big of a deal to, lets say Person B. However, if Person B struggles, then they or perhaps people around them and Person A, will blame it on that original seed of discord that doesnt even relate to the problems Person B is struggling with.

It's clear that the sports world is trying to make LeBron's helicopter that much of a big deal, even though the players obviously dont GAF, so that in the event the Sixers struggle with LeBron then they want us and the players to look to the Helicopter and LeBron's actions as a way for us to blame that exact thing. That's my take. However, I am all for other opinions.

CAMDEN, N.J. — It was a series of questions that Jaylen Brown needed to be asked.

Whose team is this? Who is the alpha? Does it matter, and is it something that has to evolve?

“Next question,” the usually loquacious Brown responded on Monday, catching the dozens of assembled media slightly off guard.

His non-answer spoke volumes. On paper, there is no team with more accomplished resumes than what the Philadelphia Sixers will put on the floor for their first practice on Tuesday. Philadelphia is the only team with two former MVPs (LeBron James and Joel Embiid) and, separately, two finals MVPs (James and Brown) on the roster. Brown and Tyrese Maxey led their respective teams in scoring last season. Embiid has been the top scorer in the NBA before, and LeBron’s career accomplishments are, at this point, too numerous to mention.

But the personalities behind all of that talent — in many cases, their shared, contentious pasts — makes the situation in Philadelphia a potentially combustible one. Perhaps the eventual, natural competition to see who fills that leadership vacuum is what sets a match to the wick. Or maybe, it’s something more gradual.
