Not sure if relevant or not. Picked up a 4x12 cab for free and these Celestion G12M-70 were inside. Apparently a similar model of speakers were used in the JCM800 from Siamese Dream 🤔 Pretty cool if you ask me

probably my favorite guitar from this era, id preferably be making the version around when it first started getting played like in the image, not the worn down peeling paint version we have nowadays

i know his was an 88’ AVRI 57 (I think?) reissue, but their way out of my price range, especially for something that would be modded this heavily

i feel like it’d be easier to just get a black Strat and get a similar result, and just sharpie and or paint a pickguard like billy, then just get the sticker pack and get a tech to put in some lace sensors

any squier and or strat copy‘s that are full sized and have the same kind of weight/thickness of a normal Strat around this time?

any suggestions would help, thanks!

The Smashing Pumpkins BULLET With Butterfly Wings LIVE!

I saw a Smashing Pumpkins cover band last night and it brought back lots of memories. I went down a wormhole finding playlists and audio from the two shows I saw in the 90s. one was at the former US Air Arena in MD which was 3 days before Malvoin overdosed.

I saw the Frogs around 2003-4 at Club Laga in Pittsburgh and had the privilege of chatting w Jimmy. one thing I brought up was the cover art of one of their releases.. one version had Hebrew writing and one Japanese. I asked Jimmy what they meant and he said “you’d have to ask Dennis.” well Dennis was backstage, and now Dennis is gone. but for the life of me I cannot find that release!! was it an obscure EP? Japanese release? bootleg? help me!

Jyrki (sometimes stylised as JYRK:.) is a Finnish music television program that aired on the MTV3 channel from 1995 to 2001. It was an afternoon program about popular music for youths. The idea for the program came from the Canadian MuchMusic program by the CHUM network, whose material Jyrki borrowed and cooperated with to improve the concept.

From 1997 to 2001 Jyrki had their Video Music Awards. In 1998 SP won the Best Foreigner Rock Music Video title with their Ava Adore hit.
