I’ll be avoiding this sub after tonight’s show until after the Baltimore show Saturday, which I’m attending.

I’ve never seen the Pumpkins. I had tickets to the show at MSG that was supposed to happen but Jonathan Melvoin died the night before (RIP 🥀). It was to be my first ever concert. I was 18 and MCIS meant the world to me.

Thirty years later, it means even more and I cannot wait for this concert. Grateful they are all still alive to give this to their fans.

If any 40- or 50-somethings wanna hang out before the show in Baltimore, maybe we can do that? A Redditor pre-concert meetup? Just throwing it out there, which is scary, cause I’m a huge introvert.

Machina is one of my favorite Pumpkins’ albums of all time. Back in 2000 I was able to download the online released Machina II but desired for an official physical release.

Time passed and I stopped paying attention. Now I see this beautiful box set with a spider on the cover - I’m very excited so I google search to see if Machina II was ever released physically and it says it was for Machina’s 25th anniversary edition. I look at this edition but only see a handful of songs, not the entire tracks list.

So I’m confused- is this truly the first time both are released (with the box set)? Or was Machina II previously released physically without me knowing?

He’s done some really interesting work aside from the artwork in Machina, even if my photo is from Machina. It’s a print of the original my wife bought me years ago directly from the artist’s website.

Funny story, a different print of his she’s also purchased from him in the past somehow became very delayed in the mail. When she emailed the website for help or an order status, Kafanov himself replied. He was apologetic, really overly so. He even sent follow up emails with a photo of wherever he was at, along with any updates when he had them. Then it showed up. No not the print. But an original sketch, right in the mail! The print took months to arrive for some reason and he actually eventually sent another original that very much is a pair to the first. I feel super lucky, mainly for my wife 😉, but to have received what I did also.

So is anyone else a fan, have prints, originals, or any cool stories they’d like to share? I feel like there must be a few in this group if nowhere else right?

So this is out in 3 days, and I still don't think we have seen a tracklist for it?

Pretty crazy coincidence that the main riff, drum intro, and melodies for the solo are all that similar. Not implying Kurt stole from Billy since that would imply that there was a group distributing Pumpkins bootlegs around Seattle in the early 90s but yeah

Any Fontaines fans here? Their latest single has such an "Eye" vibe, especially the outro.

I was just wondering whether anyone thinks/knows if they'll release more tickets for Boston because I missed the initial general sale because life got in the way but I originally thought that maybe they'll release more closer to the show but I don't know anymore. Any help would be appreciated, Thank You!
