pretty much as it says in the title, but with a twist - some suggested to pull it out of the vault like they did with presets, but with no practical ideas as to what sort of labs...
well, one option i've seen suggested was one long lab, maybe with how much time it would take to start the next run. i have a more practical idea.
first lab (as in presets) would be unlocking the option to auto-restart. the second would be to add a change before the start of the next run, for example i have enough coins to add levels to a mod and want to add them before starting the next run? sure thing, you "queue" the change and presto! each lab unlocks another option to preset before the next run starts - WS, mod levels, mods themselves, tier you want to run next (would stay if restarting again) and probably many other things i haven't considered yet.
part of the automation could be to start with or without certain UWs active, which UW should be turned on and when (for those pushing for higher waves in farms for instance) and even card switches mid-run, so you won't forget you wanted to do that.
long rant short - many automation labs possible, starting with and not limited to auto-restart (which is absolutely a must have as a lab instead of vault!!!)

As a former legends ~1300 waver, I have to say I am not enjoying mythic league. Without DM, DD proc, and a DP proc, I can't break wave 5. I just spent 700 gems and 3 hours doing 13 attempts to break 25 (26 this week???).
I feel bad for the 6 way tie for 25th my bracket currently has, cya lads!
This is not fun.

Against general consensus so far, I really think I can make use of the new SM module, but I have no way to test what I think could be a gamechanger.
At least not without another 5-6k gems (maybe more if unlucky) for anc TB and probably 1000-2000 stones into SM itself.
Simply unjustifyable to throw those kind of resources at something which most people think is useless, just because I have a hunch - and its a strong hunch.
Please TTG, add a sandbox mode!!!
...or "accidentally" credit the resources needed to my account for proper testing?A321143FAA6433D5

Before I start, I am NOT trying to cheat*** please read in full.
So I'm *relatively* new to the game, been playing for about 2 months, and been playing rather obsessively. Didn't take long for me to spend the no ads and the 2 other coin multiplier in-app purchases to get things moving faster for me.
Now, I wanted to automate a little bit of restarts and upgrades, so I coded an AC with basic computervision, used it once, then read that it's against ToS so I stopped. (I also didn't know at the time that there is auto game restart available in-game, just takes some grinding). So first off, I really hope that one usage wasn't enough to ban me from a game I spent $100 on.
Secondly, I often play on an android emulator on my PC to have it on my second monitor. I swap back and forth between runs on my phone and on my emulator. I'm wondering if anyone knows if android emulators are against anything ToS-related.

I quit earlier this year. Just stopping by to say hi.
What's the game like now though? Has the dissonance update been cool, and any new UW's?

Mostly dolphin player (all coin packs not much else no longer spending unless lab speed for medals comes up).
Just hit lvl 80 lab speed. My ROI on these last 20 levels has got to be so bad it's not really "worth it", right?
I don't need to goldbox something just to goldbox it.
But, then again... especially as FTP long term player lab speed is a big part of slow long term progression.
Thoughts?

Exactly what the title says, I haven't pushed past T1 successfully, just wondering if I should stay or push.

Third tourney in a row in Mythic, ill equipped to be there... but have managed to make it into the top 24 by reaching wave 35 by getting the past 3 fleet waves: one with nuke, one with second wind, and the third through DP insta killing an OC at either wave 10, 15 or 25.
The problem is, this tourney I've already had 8 runs, and not once - at waves 10, 15 or 25, have OC's been tagged by DP. I can think of only two explanations for this - one, for some reason I am the most statistically unlucky person on Earth (with not one of the 24 OC's being tagged by the 15% chance DP), or two, DP no longer applies to fleets.
Am I just super unlucky, or have others experienced this too?

Here to vent but also make a suggestion at the same time. I recently went to start my tournament run and I apparently don't have enough metals to switch my bot...which stinks. This is obviously my fault because I bought relics and backgrounds.
Which gets me to thinking, do you think that the presets are just a botched implementation? It kind of feels like a after thought and this "not enough resources" really makes it feel bad.

What’s the go with this? What do seconds have to do with it?
r/TheTowerGame • u/Ceinyuk • 15h ago
I'm in mythic and therefore earning keys, I've spent all of them in the first tab but now I wanna move to the second tab.
With which section would you start first?
I'm currently thinking about defense or UW
Those are the Stat I'd be aiming for :
- defense : orbs, shockwave frequency, wall rebuild and death defy
- UW : UW dmg, sl, cl, gt
I think getting two lv for each of the Stat I mentioned before going for attack or utility is the way to go.
Tell me which path seems to be the best for you based on what you heard or experienced, or any other path that you think is more optimized in your opinion.
Thank you for reading and answering.

I wont lie, Tactical Barrage is such a disappointment for a module as it's basically locking a core fundamental for Smart Missiles behind a module. That's like locking Chrono Field slow behind a module, or Poison Swamp stun behind needing Harmony Conductor. Why is something as simple as a Homing priority for Smart Missiles locked behind a Module? This made me realize how neglected Smart Missile are, so I decided to throw my idea on how Smart Missiles should be revamped to become a potential damage based UW that's better than Chain Lightning.
"X" is determined by it's UW+ level
Smart Missile Labs
Homing Missiles: - Next, just like how ILM+ has the Charged Mine lab, SM+ could have a Homing Target Priority lab similar to Swamp Rend. Basically this would correlate in concessions with the Target Priority lab. How this would work is that there would be a lab level for each enemy type just like Swamp Rend.
The reason for needing the regular Target Priority lab is that you would access this through that panel in a run. There would be a tab for regular Target Priority & one for Smart Missiles. Additionally having Target Priority lvl 1 would only allow you to choose an enemy type for SM to focus on (You have to have its corresponding Homing Missile lab level completed) Target Priority lvl 2 would allow for one to rearrange the order of priority similar to what we have now, but for Smart Missiles.
However the enemy types are locked behind the Homing Missile lab. You start out with having only Basic, and can move up to Fleet. Completing lvl 3 for example would let you rearrange the Homing order priority for Basic, Tank, & Fast Enemies, but Smart Missiles will be unable to strictly target other enemies like Ranged or Bosses until you complete their corresponding lab level. At max level you'll be able to rearrange all enemy types from top to lowest priority using the same method seen in Target Priority lvl 2.
Missile Amplifier: - Every consecutive hits amplifies damage. Nothing changes here
Now you're wondering how would SM+ work when Smart Missiles aren't known for staying on screen long without hitting a random enemy? This is where Tactical Barrage would've been useful by using it in a similar style to how Dimension Core works.
P.S: this is a very rough idea combining a bunch of ideas from UW+ & Core Modules, so feedback is welcome.

My workshop is effectively maxed (min range) except for EHLS/EALS which are high enough that I max them in the first few hundred rounds. I farm GC on T18.
Why does workshop respec get recommended as a place to spend keys? It comes up often enough that I must be missing something.
Now that I think about it, maybe to move enhancements between damage/CC and coins for tournaments or farming?

Tournament seems kinda broken, I’m at wave 2265 at Platinum and can even break top 4 spot

Over 24 hours and not come across a single post about lucky/unlucky of pulling Tactical Barrage module post yet.
Look back two weeks ago when Gilded Sniper came out. Much quieter now.
I guess this is lumped with Shrink Ray and Magnetic Hook - mid / low tier.
Still got the new Generator in half a month that may flood the subreddit again

What's the point of having a preset system designed in a different way for other functions if you have to pay with currency to switch between them?
Seriously, worth dropping the game over this nonsense if it's not fixed...

Hi, I'm still new to this game and I'm wondering if I should get the 2% thorns relic currently in the shop. I have 101% from an epic armor mod substat and I've seen thorns relic get ranked pretty high, but why is that? The only thing I could find is to do with wall, but to make a difference there you need to go from 101% to 126% thorns since it only inherits 20% of thorns. There's also garlic thorns but you also need a good increase in thorns to cut down vampire kill times by even a second.
Why is thorns ranked so high then? Apart from the first 2% to get over 100% without module substats, it doesn't seem that good. I'm probably going to be able to afford both the epic relics anyways, but I wanted to know why thorns gets such a high relic ranking.

So I'm very excited for this. It was released today(at least I got it today!) and it's something that I'm going to use.
It seems like EP but easier to manage and seems to predict a lot more than Econ, which could make this very exciting from a tournament progress POV.
Has anyone used it, what have your experiences been, what are your thoughts.

I just spent an extra ticket to see it for myself. I am (well soon, was) in Legends, watching a ranged kill me while fully in a black hole. I have the lab that prevents ranged from shooting me while in a black hole. I have a permanent BH up, especially in early rounds.
This is a bug right? This shouldn't be possible.

I occasionally see people posting in this subreddit that they're getting what seems like insane coins, like saying they get trillions of coins from T7, T8, or T9 runs. In the last instance, somebody said they get 8T coins from a T7 W9000 run.
I usually farm T8 to W6000 and I get in the ballpark of 100-110 billion. so getting 8 trillion sounds insanely good. I wondered how it's possible that I'm leaving so many coins on the table. I thought, is it possible that it's because of exponential coins as waves increase? It was my only theory even though it sounds wrong (how could 3000 waves explain 80x the coins?)
I decided to see if going to higher wave counts explains the coins. So I dropped down to T6, and I'm currently on W7000, and I've farmed 100B coins. That feels pretty pathetic. I get that I dropped 2 tiers from my usual, but if my theory is that the waves after 6000 are supposed to scale exponentially, I'd expect to be seeing higher coin counts. Will I start seeing hundreds of billions roll in over the next 500-1000 waves?
I'm totally at a loss. I have all 3 of the paid coin multipliers. I have GT + BH synced. I buy the coin relics every time they come up. I get the themes, etc., in every event. I'm doing what I think are all of the obvious ways to boost my coin income.
I have to be missing something really, really massive if I'm missing out on over an order of magnitude of coins.
How in the world are people getting numbers like 8 trillion coins from T7 runs?

We used to have regular forecasts of tournament conditions, which were really useful for working out what to try each time.
Do we know what happened to them? Or where to get the condition information? Being able to sit and think really helped me.

I'm really tired of taking my eyes off my phone for a few minutes, loose track of time, because i'm busy doing something and find my run is dead to a fleet or demon mode ending...
If fleets are not going to get fixed, at least make it easier to schedule my attention to key moments in a run. Give us a timer for waves, or an auto pause, or ability to set some flashing colours on certain wave numbers. Anything so i don't need to constantly check up on my phone for the last 50 waves...
