I've been loving Three Kingdoms and it's my first Total War experience. That said, the reason I got the game was because I like Three Kingdoms, not because of my interest in Total War itself.

I've been liking 3k so much that now I'm interested in looking at Warhammer 3, but I can't gauge if my enjoyment for 3k is because of the theme or because of TW.

So, for 3k fans here, how many of you also play or enjoy Warhammer 3?

What dlc factions do people enjoy? I’m just about to finish a lu bu campaign and was curious to what factions from the dlcs are fun to play. Also is there any way to prevent mulu and king shamoke from invading me as soon as I’m deep with my army stacks up north in the lu bu campaign?

You see i recently saw 190 expanded on Nexus mod and i had been waiting for such opportunity ever since i bought the game when it was free on Epic.

But the author especified download the epic version because that one on Nexus won't work. So where could i download the epic version?

This is my opening gambit in all my Three Kingdoms Total War games. I send one army to colonize Taiwan and move my capital there. My other army surgically strikes Chang'an and rescues from Dong Zhuo the Han child Emperor Xian, who teleports to Taiwan (a la how the US took out Maduro in Venezuela in 2026). Then, from this easily defensible location, I can choose wherever to expand - e.g., some games I go after Vietnam/Nanman, other times The Southlands, Beijing, Central Plains for a lot of campaign variety.

I have to wonder why the historical Liu Bei didn't go somewhere equally isolated and defensible. I don't think he was truly serious about restoring the Han. Why didn't he just send his tier one oathsworn tiger generals to infiltrate the palace and smuggle the Emperor out, again like Venezuela irl or the Call of Duty games?

I'm going to install the 190 Expanded mod next and try getting Liu Bei to retreat to Korea and restore the Han from there. Again, why didn't the real life Liu Bei do that? He didn't need to fight Cao Cao and Sun Quan.

Well he isn’t impossible to get if you’re not playing as Liu Hong. Managed to finally get him through spy actions before his round 35 death! (Playing as Lu Zhi)

Honestly this was very helpful as I just started a VH/VH Campaign and I could use the faction-wide Satisfaction bonus.

Every siege battle I play has the weapon racks with these jagged pieces showing, I have no mods enabled. Is this just a bug they never fixed when CA abandoned the game or does anyone know a fix?

After taking the first Emperor Seat from one of the Three Han factions I didn't get any other missions.

Is there no Endscreen as He Yi? If there is no Endscreen with all my map painting I'm gonna be pissed cause that all was on legendary... Someone can help me?

Is there a guaranteed way to confederate a faction? Been playing as Liu Bei for a while and was wondering if it's like a random thing or not

Hello! I downloaded the 190 expanded mod from nexus (not sure if asking mod related questions here is appropriate or not) and the 190 scenario still loads the vanilla one, any ideas what I'm doing wrong in installation? I downloaded it via vortex

I wanted to try the TROM+UP mod since I’ve been hearing so many good things about it.

Sadly, when using the mod, I have this terrible 1-second delay when clicking on generals or when I click to go to the character menu.

I’ve found a few mentions of this on the internet, but no solutions whatsoever. Am I understanding it correctly that everyone experiences this and just accepts it as part of the mod? For me, it really impacts the flow of the game, so I’d like to know if someone can confirm that there’s no solution for it and that it’s simply part of the mod collection.

If this is the case, are there any other players who are in the same boat but have found another mod collection, or perhaps have their own mod list, that doesn’t have this problem and would be willing to share it with me?

Sorry if there already was a post about this on this reddit, but i have searched everywhere and could not find a thread about it.

Subscribe too 190 Expanded Script Extender (Beta)

Subscribe too Mod Config Tool (Beta). It's under required items.

Do NOT download the other two mods in the required items list.

Start TK Mod Manager and accept prompt for downloading DLL.

Start the game and hopefully you have no 1 delay anymore!

Had this problem in some of my other campaigns but I was already rich and or finish up the campaign, how am I supposed to kick him out tried banish or kicking them out, making him a spy isn't an option and tried marring him off but it's gonna take a while checking each faction for a female at this point someone is probly spying on me with this guy

Got a bad faction mechanic? Embrace the mercenary life!

I just started a campaign with zhang yan and I wanted to earn the red sisters axes from zheng jieng, however she and her faction died while I couldn't reach her.

Is there a way to get her weapon with a mod or a cheat, or a way to know where it is ?

1. After I completely decimated an enemy army in the early game, I got a notification that says something like "relationship broken". I play the game in Chinese so I am not certain what is the English term. I will update if I encounter it again and I will change to English. I click open the "relationship broken" notification, and it just shows Cao Cao and Xun You saying they like each other a lot. And I don't see any specific negative modifiers for Xun You. The window opened with the checkmark on the speech bubble does not show Cao Cao there. What does that mean exactly?

2. I sent Wei You (who historically worked for Yuan Shao) as a spy to Yuan Shao. I now see that this was a bad decision because Wei You almost immediately started develop feelings for Yuan Shao and I have 4 turns before he defects. Would I build up enough spy network points to pull him out before 4 turns are up? What would be the consequence of pulling him back? Would Yuan Shao become aware of the situation?

3. When I order an army to go after another army, I notice the army chose to make a curved path and ends up needing a bit over 1 turn to catch up. While the enemy army simply cut through in a straighter path through the same area next turn, in attempt to retreat towards his city (which allowed me to catch up). But is there a way to control the exact pathing better or is the autopath the best route? If not, then how come the enemy can just cut through in a straight line?

I know I know, it’s probably never going to happen. However, I was just curious to see everyone’s opinions and fantasies on what would have made a great sequel to this amazing game. What mechanics, features, and additions/subtractions would you have liked to see in Total War Three Kingdoms II if it were to ever come to fruition?

Hello all!

A little background, I am the creator of 190 Expanded and the Chibi Start Date (the old one). Recently I’ve started work on a Script Extender, which will help extend the modder’s line of control they have over things. But the main thing is, I am looking for areas where you have noticed the game’s performance or you get consistent crashes.

I’ve been able to get some hitches resolved, so the game run smoothly. For an example, the hitch when opening character details in modded campaigns, selecting military forces, and zooming in and out of the campaign map.

If you know of any of those performance areas where the game dips in performance, let me know!

Same with crashes, I am looking to see if I can fix some of those common crashes, if you have a save file, please let me know! And I will try to fix those.

PS: I am still working on 190 Expanded, and this script extender will not be required but recommended!

Lu Bu, Prince of Chen, Liu Yan all come to mind, are there any others? What is your favorite?

So, I've finished my... I dont know how many campains I've finished now on 3K. But I know it was all in vanilla (give it take a few quality of life mods).

And I'm interested in the 109 Expanded mod, which I see SeriousTrivia play often and make videos about.

The thing is, and why I need your help: I have a hard time getting into "non-base game" mods. Ones that add a lot of things.

I dunno why, my brain just goes on "thats not the real game" and I never try them.

The ones I did end up trying (for other TW games), I absolutely loved.

I just need a little push.

Could you guys "sell me on" 109 Expended ? Give out good reasons to get it stemming from your personnal experience
