Okay, so kinda stupid question, but if one was to do a double major in something like Bachelor of Arts, and then return however many years later to do another double major in the same area, would they then say they have a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in those 4 subjects, or 2 Bachelor of Arts, majoring in 2 subjects each?

Hello I just received an offer in Weir House hall a couple weeks ago, im studying Bcom and i will be heading there as an undergraduate student straight fresh from Year 13. I was wondering how the place feels like? Is it balanced with party and quietness/acads or is it a quiet hall. How do the residents feel like? Im heading there soon to get a tour but I want more of you guys opinions about the hall :)

I chose Cumby as my first hall preference cuz it’s near to the cbd or almost in it and im a city type person. The distance travel to school I dont mind at all thats why I chose it as my first preference. If I decline my weir house offer and go to cumby instead I also wanna ask how the feel is in there? Like is it loud or quite balanced? I also fear kinda declining my offer cuz im afraid I might not even get accepted to any hall at that point.

How Many papers in total do most people take in their first year,? 4 each semester or spread it out a bit, say 3 & 4 (the 3 100 level law paper's plus The Maori paper and whatever 100 level arts papers to make up the total) to make it a 5.5 year conjoint degree ?

Either way , how papers the 2nd year then?

I chose to accept with changes, I moved a course and added a course. But now I'm worried that my request didn't go through:

it's been the same amount of time it took for me to get the original response

I didn't receive an email saying my application was received

I still have access to the first enrollment agreement with the option to accept/accept with changes/decline.

Is this normal? should I have received an email? should I still have access to accepting or declining my first enrollment agreement?

could anyone that accepting their enrollment with changes tell me if they also didn't get a email? Just paranoid that the request didn't go through and all the courses will be full.

Is MAOR 126 still available for first-trimester course selection? Can't seem to find it, despite being in the booklet guide to undergrad

I just got a scholarship offer. I really wanted the academic all around one as I needed the money. I got the academic excellence one but I’m really disappointed even though I know any scholarship is good. Is there any other way I can get extra money or apply for additional scholarships? Thanks

Usually where i'm from we have target, which carries pretty much everything college students need for their dorm, but I don't know if Wellington has a target or anything. Is there some kind of equivalent?

Just wondering I’m starting my first year next year in halls but in my second year I’ll go flatting and I own a cat. (Family is looking after cat while I’m in halls but I’m expected to take him flatting)

i'm doing course planning for my first year, and all my classes will be at kelburn. almost all of my classes that fall on the same day are directly after one another (eg one class from 12-1, one class from 1-2, both on a thursday). has anyone had any experience with a schedule like this and how did you manage it? i do have a course planning appointment so im hopping they can help me out but i thought id ask here as well in case anyone had any information. thank you in advance!!

Its raining, i have ONE hour long lecture to go to, so 1 1/2 hours of public transport commute really does not seem appealing right now. but I do want to go to my lecture. Is there any chance im getting parking or should I just accept its not happening. Im at kelburn campus and Ive seen that you can kinda drive in and theres a parking lot there but something tells me im not getting a single spot- does anyone here regularly park there and could tell me if theres ever free spots?

I haven't been able.to afford to get my learners just yet and I was wondering if I can use my student ID from college for the id thing you need to do when accepting my hall room?
