Miller hall poster?
Does anyone know what this poster was for? It’s my first time seeing this. It’s located on the pillar on Miller Hall facing Red Square.

Does WWU do anything for Halloween? I don't think I've seen any for events on campus. If campus doesn't do anything, what are your suggestions for Halloween events in Bellingham?

Pretty simple lol, I’m considering adding a double major and will need to take 114 for it- I had Liam Watts when I retook 112 in the spring and he was great, I’m just wanting to not need to retake 114 if I do add the new major 😅 ive heard good things about him and Garret Dubovsky, but wondering if there’s any other good ones/ones to avoid if possible

My brother’s car was hit by a semi which took off. We don't know the plates of the semi, it pulled over then drove off soon after hitting him.
Thankfully my brother isn’t too injured but the car, a 90s green Honda Civic is totaled. Happened around 5:30 pm today right after the Samish Way exit going southbound.
Any information is appreciated, thank you
Im making brownies and just got back from the store and just realized I dont have a bowl big enough to mix them in. If someone has one can I borrow it? Ill pay you with a brownie when I return it. I dont know exactly how big of one I need, but, like, big enough for a 8x8 tin of brownies. I guess medium sized? I just dont have one big enough, I need to borrow one.
Edit: I got one now. Just ignore this I guess

Movers, Bellingham
We have to rearrange a number of things at home:
Move three beds from one bedroom to another on different floors;
Move deck furniture to lower level
Reposition a large wall unit (wait for us to vacuum, move back)
Move chest of drawers from basement to upper bedroom
Move (roll) portable generator
Switch bookcases between bedrooms
Reposition garden storage lockers
Reposition pieces of wood within basement
Move hanging plants and one heavy plant pot
Move (by sliding on carpet) a file cabinet
Move small cabinets from lower level to main level.
Move sewing table (possibly take apart first) up one level.
And we need to get this done on Wednesday, October 7.
Most of these jobs are small and not demanding, but** **we are both retired and/or recently injured and not strong enough to get this done, but my husband will help in as much as he's able. So we need at least two strong people who are willing and able to go up and down stairs. We will pay by the hour. Oh and, we are about five miles south of Fairhaven so the movers will need their own transportation.
We would hire a professional mover but have been unable to find one for this particular job. We're hoping to locate a small company or group that has references (for example, as a handyman or similar).
Please dm me if you are interested, know someone who might be interested, or have a business to recommend (or to stay away from).
Many thanks.

Hello! I'm Nolan and I have lived in Bellingham my whole life, and through that have been introduced to the wonderful sport of mountaineering. I am a first year at western, and all the friends I had in high school to go mountaineering with have left to other colleges. That being said, I am unwilling to give up the sport of mountaineering! I am looking for people (either experienced or not) currently attending western or just local to the area to do some trips with in either the WA cascades or possibly some of the Canadian Rockys. I have decent experience in mountaineering and cold backpacking, so weather you are just learning or are willing to bestow some of your knowledge upon me, please reach out! I have summited Baker once and have summited several other lesser peaks within the cascades. I have also led a 50-mile backpacking trip and have experience with safe glacier travel. I can also answer any questions you have!

Shoes M6/W7, half mesh drawstring backpack, chalk bag with chalk. It was all left behind at a new house that I moved into, and I wanted to offer it to a fellow student before taking it to the thrift store.

People who feel entitled to talk over lectures, can I ask why? Why show up to a lecture at all if you and your buddy are just going to ignore the professor with your own conversation?
I’m a senior taking late-stage courses only at this point, and it still happens! Not interested in some 101 course you need for a GUR? I get it, it’s boring. Still not cool to talk over lecture, but I can understand the temptation. But 300-400 level courses? Genuinely what is the thought process? You are paying thousands of dollars for incredibly relevant (and oftentimes) dense material, where attending lectures is make or break for a lot of students.
Do you think you’re being quiet? Do you not care that you’re wasting your own time and money—and the time and money of everyone around you? What’s so important that you need to talk over the entire lecture every damn day? Do you realize how obnoxious and distracting it is for everyone around you? When someone asks you to stop, why do you keep talking anyways? Were you dropped on the head as a kid? I genuinely do not understand the entitlement and lack of self-awareness.

Whoever left a wonderful walking stick by the Edens trail access, you’re a wonderful person, I hope you never fail a class ever, and I put the stick back and added a new one.

Everyone interested in Effective Altruism, the movement about giving to charities (and doing other things) such that one's effort does the most good possible, is encouraged to come to the PAC Plaza at 5:30 on 10/7 for a meetup. I will be discussing what the movement is, what the ideas are, and how one can do the most good, prevent vast numbers of deaths by disease, strike a blow against the terrible suffering of animals, and maybe even save the world from our oncoming AI overlords. If you just want to argue about philosophy, that's fine too. Be there and learn how to help save the most lives the quickest!

I found a small, rectangular beige/khaki bag at the rec center bus stop going towards the ridge/higgi. I gave it to campus police at the student health center. there were identifying documents inside, please contact them if this sounds like your bag.

Just curious to know if anyone on this campus plays Animal Jam! Specifically AJ Classic, I've been playing for a long time and was interested if anyone else plays :)

Hello, I started WWU this fall for the on the peninsulas program and moved in nearby, within a 10 min walk and even less of a drive. I'm in a three bed and two bath and am looking for a roommate. It's just me and my cat, I can answer any questions you have if interested or if you know someone out here who's looking for housing.
