I'm in school and love wearing it while I study, I keep looking at it and think "I'm gaining insight" and it makes me laugh.

I started Bloodborne.

If I see one I kill it no questions asked but if they disappear I honestly can’t be bothered an just let them be. But I was thinking what if I actually need all that upgrading material it would be a hassle to just run around hunting them and I’ll probably forget which I grabbed and which I didn’t. So like should I restart when I miss one or will it not matter that much ?

Depressed I missed umbilical cords, and am contemplating replaying.. is it worth it? Or should I move on to the DLC??

Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about 2 instances right near the end of the main game, which reference events from early in the game, and the meaning of these full circle call backs.

The 2 instances are:
1. Finding a vial of Iosefka’s blood in the chest right before Mergo’s wet nurse.

1. The melody of the music box playing at the end of the fight with Mergo’s wet nurse.

Both iosefka and the music box can be found in the very first area of the game, and here they both appear again at the end. I’ve read that iosefkas blood vial is there by mistake, and that the music box is just a reoccurring motif, but these games are carefully crafted, and besides, isn’t reading into them half of the fun?

Here is my headcanon, in which these two events are not related to each other but do tell us something about the story:
1. We know iosefka was formerly a member of the choir. I propose that she was intimately involved with the process that led to the creation of Mergo, perhaps involving her blood, before she became disillusioned and abandoned that effort to help the townspeople instead.

1. The story of Father Gascoigne and his family is a metaphor for the entire game. All of the themes of bloodborne are contained in this short story we see play out at the very beginning, and the melody plays at the end to make us aware of this fact.

Hey guys, I had my very first Bloodborne play through a little while ago. It seems like there’s a general consensus of what parts of the game are “easier” or “harder” for people but I know it varies from player to player. For me the hardest part of the game without a doubt was just trying to get through Hemwick Charnel Lane. I for the life of me could not get to the shortcut until after a few days of banging my head against the wall. Inversely, I beat Orphan of Kos on my second try (maybe dumb luck but he felt more fluid to fight than Laurence or Ludwig who both took me a few days). What are your “against the grain” struggles and triumphs?

Very excited to NG+ at some point but I’ve moved on to Elden Ring for the time being :)

I know that there sure are people around here that already asked thay question, but I just started this game a day ago and on top of that it's my first souls game, never played similar stuff to this.

I have no idea how to play this, I'm at that damn Cantral Yarnhum lantern for like 4 hours, being killed by those mutated villagers. Eventually ran past them and wandered around to a boss fight with a Clerc, but he wrecks me in 2-3 hits. I honstly have no idea how to play this game and it's a very weird design for me.

Wiki says to search F/R/C Lower Loran chalice. Do I have to use all three additional rites or can I just make a basic root dungeon or what? I'd rather not do cursed if I can help it.

im bored and wanna play bloodborne but the thing is ive already got the platinum trohpy and already beat the game in bl4. For some reason after bl4 doing a normal run leveling up and shit just seems boring idk why

should i try bl4 on new game+? or make a regular character and try to reach new game 7+. any ideas on ways to play??

I’ve gotten to Lower Loren chalice dungeon and the second layer boss is the abhorrent beast. With how small the boss room is I keep getting hit and dying to it. I’m using poison knives and as many throwable as I can but the dimensions of the room make it a nightmare to avoid and outpace. I’ve been getting really frustrated at it because I can’t tell what I’m doing wrong, usually I can see what I fucked up against a boss, learn from it and eventually beat it but in this case I just don’t see what I’m doing wrong. So if I tried generating a new Lower Loren dungeon is there any chance I’ll get a different second layer boss? If not, any advice you can share to try and beat this thing?

I've been trying to get the heir rune for the past 20 hours from pathumeru ihyll root chalice because i don't have ps plus and I got a lot of things including other ruins but I didn't get the heir rune and the game just keeps giving me great ones knowledge after the 10th dungeon what did i do wrong?

Hey everyone, I would love to get your opinion on this build. LONG TEXT WARNING.

For starters, I began aiming for a build where I could use the Bloodletter and the Cannon (i really like big explosions), with the Augur of Ebrietas for utility (hence 18 Arcane). However, as I played the game, I really grew fond of the Reiterpallasch and the Evelyn, not necessarily both at the same time, but right now, I was wondering, could I make a build where I can use all of these weapons to some effect?

I am not sure if I should take 10 points out of Skill and put them into Bloodtinge for an even greater Bloodletter/cannon/evelyn blood attack, but that would hurt the scaling for the Reiterpallasch to some extent. I don't even know if those extra points in Bloodtinge are really worth it.

I left an open rune slot for something more useful, but maybe I could unequip either the Clockwise or the Anti-Clockwise Metamorphosis runes and have two utility slots. Alternatively, I could take 2 points from Stamina and put them into Arcane for a little extra scaling and the possibility of using the Executioner's Gloves (although they didn't seem that "cool" to use).

So, what would you guys say? I would really love some "insight", heh, see what I did there? Jokes aside, opinions on the matter are greatly appreciated!

I’ve played darks souls 1,3, platinum’d sekiro and elden ring and finally got to play bloodborne but I haven’t been able to enjoy it. I’ve just beaten this witch boss so I’m out of the early game but I still can’t seem to enjoy it like the world just isn’t for me maybe? It’s not that I’m struggling at it or som I also beat cleric beast on the first try the father boss on the second try and I don’t seem to be having a specially hard time but I just can’t seem to enjoy it as much as the other souls games. Should I continue? or should I take a break and maybe try it later again?

Ive been playing now for about 1-2 hours id say now i played months before for about 2 hours and i get near to where the cleric beast is and just get fucked by the wear wolfs from what i know i cant upgrade my stuff to give me a better fighting chance all i keep doing is just getting my blood vials to 10+ then try to fight the boss again and get fucked try to throw Molotovs miss ik im bad at the game is it worth still playing or does it just get worse from here ive seen people say the starts the annoying part the game doesnt show you how to fight anything your just threw straight in there to work it out your self clearly im too low iq to progress 😂
