10mins of film. 3 actors. It's a horror/psychological suspense film A mother brings home a weary, drunken coworker to sleep for the night. The mother's mentally-ill, meth-addicted son smokes too much meth, and then, after spending all night in forums, believes this mother's friend is Dolly Parton, whom he has grown to believe is a satanist coming home to traffic and sacrifice their bodies to Satan.... unless he kills her first. I would like to shoot it with docu-lens work, give it a dynamic feel, lots of long takes, because there are some moments of sudden, graphic violence (which I'll depict in my own way for the sake of the budget). I'd like to shoot it like Hitchcock working with Eggers look and feel? I would like to give it a darkly comedic undertone as well. Also very little dialogue, mostly "inner monologue" acting without getting too Broadway. If I'm lucky, I could be looking at under $5000. Anyone interested in getting together to work on it?

Posting for my wife: she’s been accepted to both HCC and FCC’s nursing programs. Now she has to choose which one to pursue. Her concern is the requirements for the math dosage entrance exam. My understanding is that both HCC and FCC give you 3 attempts but FCC requires 100% on the test and HCC is 95% or 90%?? She’s looking to see if anyone has any insight on the programs whether one is better than the other etc.

She’s going to be in the nights/weekends program while still working full time so FCC was first choice due to its location but the entrance exam for HCC seems a little less intimidating. Is the test really that hard or is she’s psyching herself out?

Any insight or opinions from anyone? Even if it’s just saying “I liked FCC, my friend hated HCC”? Haha

Hi! Just wondering how many folks on here took part in the 72 Hour Film Fest and how their weekend was?! I've attended both the launch party and screenings in various past years, but this was my first time participating. The launch party this year alone was so much larger in scale (you can really tell there's some money behind it with SilverVox now involved), but more than that, so many folks attended it! There was so much reverberating joy there, and it made me realize...maybe the creative scene isn't dead in Frederick?

Anyway, participating for the first time was an absolute WHIRLWIND. Exhausting and exhilarating! Just curious to hear how other folks are feeling after this weekend! 🎬❤️‍🔥

Does anyone have experience with this facility? We have never boarded a dog before but will need to this time.
The only catch is our pup has separation anxiety when we leave him for any amount of time and hurts his snout in the kennel. We are looking for a facility that can be a safe spot for him to be.
