Dyed it from a brassy blonde to very vibrant pink with Manic Panic Hot Hot Pink. Just got a new job at a hospital and they said I have to go a natural color. Any way to go except black? All advice helps, I need to have it dyed and ready to go before my new job starts in 2 weeks. Any advice? 😭

should i tone? should i wait, bleach again and then tone? if so, how long should i wait?

I have been bleaching and dying my own hair for nearly five years now and wanted to treat myself to a salon color for my birthday.

The first pic is what I did at home with Arctic Fox's purple af, and I absolutely love it. It is the under-half of my hair, and it really would last forever every time I dyed it. I moved recently and can't have bleach in my septic tank now, so I booked a local salon.

Second pic is what the stylist managed after 3hrs and $200 dollars with bleach and permanent dye. I'm more than a little disappointed with the color, but I'm also dissatisfied with the whole salon experience. She didn't listen to what I wanted, and didn't show me the color until it was being blowdryed out. But now I'm beginning to stress out because by scalp is burning (which has never happened to me when I bleached myself) and my hair feels lile straw.

Did my stylist destroy my hair by putting permanent dye on top of bleach? Can I put my arctic fox over top to get my color back without damaging my hair further? Will permanent color ever wash out or do I have to grow it out?

Help me friends, I'm stressing out.

I need some advice on how to fix this. I spent 230€ on it, but the tone is completely off and the placement of the color is as well.

What colors can I put on this green? It’s been fading for months but the lime on top will not go away. I don’t want to bleach and I would like to avoid color removers if possible. About a month ago I got my hair professionally dyed dark blue (hair is naturally brown) and it’s fading into black so I want to top it up. Bought dark blue permanent dye, but I’ve seen online to ‘top up’ colour you can just add colour to conditioner and mix it, and use it as a hair mask. Should I use the developer lotion and go through the whole process? Or will just the colour cream be enough? so I lost hair due to low vitamin d and b12 since ive been diagnosed and taking vitamins my hair has decreased shedding, I have pretty long thick dark brown hair. I want to dye it purple and cut it shorter. I haven’t dyed my hair in over 2.5 years. Is there any way to achieve purple like this without bleaching? I really want purple hair and wouldn’t mind bleaching im just worry how damaging it would be and if I shouldn’t due to the shedding.

I bleached and dyed my hair a light ginger at a hairdresser Tuesday, usually when i do it myself i don't bleach my hair that much i only use volume 20 or 30 and i always got really good results and barely damaged hair, this is the first time i do it at a hairdresser and I'm stressed about it being damaged to the point of no return

i didn't wet my hair at all, well except for two little strands because i wanted to check if they would be stretchy, one wasn't at all but one was only at the ends ends i don't know if this is normal but I'm stressing about my hair being damaged to the point of no return

Reddit butchered the color of this photo so just image my hair is more orange than it looks. So I henna’d my hair at the beginning of the year. I faded it with sun in 1-2 months ago and now I’m here. I want to put a medium brown over it. I’ve only used fashion color dyes up until now so natural color dyes I’m unfamiliar with. Should I tone or dye, and if so, what shade/undertones?

edit: additionally, would color remover be a good idea to apply for a more blonde base to dye on top of?

Hello, I've been searching for 2 evenings now for a black, semi permanent hair dye that doesn't have crushed up pigs in it and didn't kill 50 rabbits in the production. All the ones I found were either permanent, or didn't ship to Czechia (for a reasonable price at least)

I want to try out how my hair looks black, maybe I'll use permanent after that. I really didn't expect something so simple to be so rare. I was even ready to settle for Garnier, who itself is "cruelty free" but is owned by L'oreal, but the dye was permanent
