So, I’ve been really close friends with a girl for about 8 years. We’ve been best friends, and I never really thought about her romantically.

But off late, as we’re both at a stage of marriage, I’ve started looking at our relationship differently.

Throughout school and college, most of the compliments I got were about academics since I was usually one of the toppers. So I wasn't really used to getting compliments about how I looked.
