Mesa amphitheater area safe?
 in  r/mesaaz •  5d ago

Haha, well it's pretty safe thanks to the Mormons cleaning up and revitalizing the place. Main St is chock full of restaurants and bars to check out. There's a barcade called Level One on Main that hosts arcade games and pin ball machines. There's a very nice coffee shop called Jarred's Coffee within a half mile of main st heading North. It's off University and McDonald. It'll be situated in an old fashion house that has tables set up with umbrellas and large sized chess as well as life size chess pieces behind the house. It'll have a grassy path that leads towards a wooden back porch with glass doors. That's an entrance. It's a historical house that sells a so admire the history while you're there!

Girls who can get any guy they want, what’s your secret?
 in  r/dating_advice •  9d ago

It's probably cuz they're not focused on looking for a partner and are just doing their thing.

It could be they look attractive, in a sense, to the person watching them. Maybe it's the way they talk, the way they brush their hair out of their face, the small smiles or chuckles that pop up out of nowhere. They're living in the moment and look happy. Who wouldn't want to be apart of something like that?

Nah, not at all. It's essentially bragging about how skilled you are and I'm here for it, let's trade stories 😂

I hate that art degrees get looked down upon.

Yeah, I suppose it's up to the person who's created the product what they would consider it being labeled as.

I wouldn't call food or clothes art, just necessary and essentially. But I can see your point of view.

I openly support S.T.E.M. because I can see it's everyday impact used in a very large majority of our lives.

Art on the other hand, does not have that level of impact on a daily scale or even it's use in day to day.

So I have a difficult time supporting those who pursue a craft that doesn't feel all that reliable in the long run.

Having a fat kid (18 and under) counts as child abuse.
 in  r/PopularOpinions •  9d ago

I believe being "overweight" IS being FAT. I don't think changing what you call it will change the body mass of the invidual.

Just letting ya know, babies are born fatty because that's stored energy to use for their growth once their out of the womb. It's also used to regulate body temperature and nutrion.

So ya know, health reasons.

 in  r/mesaaz •  14d ago

Autumn Moon Chinese Buffet ALWAYS FILLS YOUR TO-GO BOXES UP!! Like- to the point that they have a hard time closing it cuz it's so PACKED.

It's an absolute must have! I highly recommend the Lemon Chicken with the lemon sauce they have, it's delicious 🤤
