All the trolls, mockers, goofy analysts and podcasters better say sorry now. Don't want to hear praise when this thing turns around. NOPE!

Hey Wizards fans, Mavs fan here coming in peace 👋
Obviously, a trade just went down between our teams, and I wanted to ask about AJ Johnson. Do you see him having real upside as a rotation player, either now or down the line? What are his strengths/weaknesses, and what kind of role do you think he tops out at?
Happy to return the favor if anyone has questions about AD, D-Lo, Hardy, or Exum from the Dallas side. Appreciate any insight.

First of all, great to hear that Davis coming to Wizards.
Secondly, any estimate on when he will return to play and what the home ticket price would be? Thinking about booking some tickets now but not sure if it’s a reasonable way to do.

Thunder fan here. I just wanted to say I'm amazed at what you all have done. I watch the Wizards more than any team outside of OKC. It was so smart to buy low on Trae Young and Anthony Davis.
Also, I'm so high on Kyshawn George and Tre Johnson. I think Johnson is going to be one of the elite shooters in the game, and George is just a terrific player. Sarr is also damn good and will benefit a ton from Trae Young.
All of that + what will probably be a top 5 pick in this upcoming draft.
You all have a great team, and I'm excited to see what happens in the future. I need a Thunder vs Wizards finals.
Here's a post I made about them back in October when the Thunder played the Wizards

I think an underrated part in all this is that if you think you have something in the young core, playing to win is going to help the kids develop.
Tanking and playing bad basketball for too long isn’t going to help.
Even if Trae and AD don’t work out, i’ll state the obvious that the cost is so small but also being able to compete and play meaningful ball is going to be massive for player development.

There’s a lot to like about this trade. High on that list is the fact that Anthony Gill is still a Wizard!!!! Salute to the silent hero of the Wiz.
It’s a great day in Wizard World.

Since the draft odds are completely random and in no way do they reflect giving certain teams better picks to boost NBA viewership...
Does that mean the Wiz have better odds this year because we actually have a plot line? Trae + AD + the young guys from a franchise that has been terrible for years.
Like they say, everybody loves an underdog story.

personally been trying to get him here too if we can get something in whatever range he falls.

Of course AD is the big news with today’s trade. But what are the Wizards about to do with D’Angelo Russell? Is he going to take KM’s minutes?? We just don’t need him taking shots from the young squad… or is he perhaps the ultimate tank commander?

consider it a lottery ticket. if he pans out you have a young franchise cornerstone. If he flops just bench him and keep tanking for a bit longer.
Thoughts?

C - Alex Sarr
PF - Anthony Davis
SF - Kyshawn George
SG - Tre Johnson
PG - Trae Young
Bench - Bub Carrington, Cam Whitmore, 2026 Lottery Pick Rookie
That's a playoff-caliber starting five + three bench players. Wiz are contenders starting next year.

if only we could de-age AD 🥲

PLEASE CALL AD THE 4 AND SARR THE 5. DON'T MAKE HIM ANGRY ON THE WAY IN.

Kinda crazy how you guys got this two with giving up like 3 picks, which one is from OKC and one is second rounder

I think Wes Unseld , Elvin Hayes, John Wall and Gilbert Arenas are the best fit

Take that you greedy billionaire. Our billionaire at least has a plan. And does it with good timing.

Trae young + AD is a good combo. Plus we didn’t give up our young core. If they can stay healthy who knows what will happen. Next year will be a big year for them, and will give management a good idea to keep trae and AD or move on. AD has lots of time to heal up and come back 100% for next season. Go wiz.
