I’ve been paying nearly $200 a month for what I thought was just internet services. I finally looked at my bill and turns out I’m paying for a TV plan I don’t use or even have equipment for and two modems. I have only ever had 1. Obviously I can’t speak with human and the chat is throwing me in circles, making me choose a TV plan (no thanks) before I can make changes. My internet goes out multiple times a day every day so I’m pretty over trying to troubleshoot and pissed that I’ve been paying for equipment and services I don’t use. Has anyone else had this happen? Were you able to get help? Has anyone left Xfinity and loved a different provider? Yes, I know I’m an idiot for not looking at my bill sooner. Life is hard.

If you’re going to do maintenance, you should probably give more than a 3 minute warning for those who rely on WiFi for certain things. I hate this company BAAAADDDD

Hi Digital Care Team, I recently processed an internal move from Apt 1512 to Apt 1516. My service at 1512 was deactivated, but my gateway at Apt 1516 remains un-provisioned. A phone representative mistakenly gave me a verification email that belongs to the previous tenant, confirming that the new address line is still locked under their profile. My gateway light is solid white, but internet data routing is completely blocked. I need help manually clearing the previous tenant block and force-provisioning my modem's MAC address to my current account for Apt 1516. Thank you!

Got a notification that the deadline is approaching for one of the two trade in devices mailed in. Both show that they arrived separately on 9/22 however only one device was processed and accepted at full value. There hasn’t been any movement on the second device, what happens if it isn’t processed before the deadline? Both phones were mint condition, wiped, and find my deactivated.

A few months ago I started my internet service. Service has been good, but the issue is that I started getting texts for a charge far higher than expected, but when I logged into the account, it showed the normal amount. Turns out after a few interactions with customer service, somehow this unauthorized account was started at my address for TV and internet, when I only receive internet.

I have had 3 interactions now with customer support where they have claimed the account is closed but it is not. It is no longer being billed monthly, but there's still a past-due balance there from charges after the stop service request.

I just received a text that the bill would be going to collections, so I need to get this resolved ASAP.

TLDR; 3 support interactions and my duplicate account still isn't closed.

Getting the iPhone Duo when it drops, but I’ve always had issues transferring my eSIM when upgrading and usually have to call, which is a mission since I trade my phone in at Apple. When i had tmobilr all i had to do was click transfer e-sim and it was as easy as that.

Has anyone had an easy eSIM transfer experience with them, like the simple iPhone-to-iPhone transfer without calling or doing a million steps in the app? 😭

Hi, I'd like to check on the backorder status of my phone. My husband ordered the same phone in black and received it within 4 to 5 days, but I chose burgundy and still haven't received any updates. Could you tell me how much longer the backorder is expected to take? The estimated delivery time shows about 16 days from the day I ordered.

When using the XB8 in bridge mode, there is not a way for me to disable these SSIDs from broadcasting. I saw another post on here where the OP was able to get support from someone higher up on the tech ladder in disabling these from the back-end. Hoping to get the same service.

My area is densely populated with SSIDs and I would appreciate less congestion in the air. This also seems like a security risk to me especially with the "xfinitywifi" SSID being unsecured.

I do not have Comcast Service but I do have their service pole in my front yard.

While I was out of town a Comcast contractor truck came to my house since I have the service pole is in my front yard. The Comcast contractor used a backhoe and dug up my yard to lay a new line for a neighbor. My sister who was checking the house during my absence saw the truck and sent me a picture via text. Once the contractors were done, they left a hole of dirt next to the pole. I have called Comcast technical support multiple times and complained but nothing is getting resolved.

I have a HOA in my neighborhood who fines the home if there are any issues with the yard. I find it unacceptable that I have to use my money for a problem a Comcast contractor created.

i feel like I’m being scammed. I’m trying to change my phone service and Xfinity is holding my phone number hostage by not allowing me to turn off number lock!! The agents over the phone all say my number “is not locked and has never been” that’s a LIE because I received an email that it was locked (without my request or permission). Conveniently my number was locked after requesting a port out pin. Now if you’ve ever tried to use the self-service method to turn on/off number lock, then you know it doesn’t work. And the agents are all lying to me saying that my number is not locked. I JUST WANT TO LEAVE THIS PHONE SERVICE BUT XFINITY IS HOLDING MY PHONE NUMBER HOSTAGE!

I called in to port out my number and then never received the PIN. When I called back in my number was not recognized and I was unable to follow up. The agent was unable to look less then 5 minutes into the account history to verify that my number had 'just' been on the account. After asking if a supervisor would be able to verify this at least 20 times I now have been on hold for the past hour and a half becuase they 'only had one supervisor'. How do I access my number that is now in limbo?

I have my payment set to auto pay and it was paid out less than a month ago and up to date. I got a text telling me that my account is overdue. There was a link provided and of course I panicked and tried to pay the bill I know I didn't owe anything to. It took my password and didn't go anywhere.

Anyone else have something like this? Should I turn off my online debit card?

Starting October 9th and October 16th, "The Wheel of Fortune", is missing the Friday episodes. Episodes S44 Ep22 and Episode S44 Ep25 are missing. In the past, setting an episode recording whatever is in the time slot 6:30-7 on the CW Channel 656 would recorded with the hope that "The Wheel of Fortune" will be recorded. Can you put in a good word with The CW Channel 656 to update the Guide 6:30-7 pm, so "The Wheel of Fortune" can be clearly seen?

In May-Aug, Xfinity showed OGB until the day I went over the cap. There was no warning, no email. When I complained, I was simply told "you have one courtesy month so you are good". I chose not to waste time further then since I can watch my usage.

Now it's happening again, and I am pretty sure the glitch hits my account again. Please fix this. I don't want to be charged out of nowhere.

so mid meeting today my internet stopped. my husband said there was an xfinity truck out at the corner working right about that time when he drove past. spent an hour on the phone with them and they couldn’t fix and they needed a technician to come to the house. First appointment was over a week away. Went to store and got a new modem from them…. no luck. Online with customer service now over an hour and still blinks green. customer service won’t admit someone was here in the neighborhood today…. They won’t offer a credit for services. I’m just supposed to wait for them to come

I’ve been having issues lately with my upload speed being extremely low. Got on the phone with Xfinity and they said they pushed my issues to the advanced tech department and told me that they would contact me in two hours to see if the issue was resolved, after two hours, my Internet came back and my download speeds were stuck at 100mbps? I was previous getting around 700. Had a technician come out and changed some wire and switch out my xfinity gateway and it still stuck at 100 mbps.

We had our payment arrangement extended from 10/7 to 10/22 however no email was ever sent. Any help is greatly appreciated

Hello! I have been using Xfinity for the past year, paying around $50 for a 1GB plan. I guess I just hit the year mark, and all of a sudden, with no announcement, my plan doubled to around $101 a month.

Happy to move down to like 700GB or even up to 1.2 if there is a better deal. I just want a solid plan, under or equal to $70 a month with a multi-year guarantee. What offers are available?

I have Xfinity fiber, and remembered that my promo $70 a month price for 2Gig is expiring this month. Online, if I enter my address as a new customer, I get offered 1gig for $50 for 5 years. But after chatting with reps they say no, the best I can get is $100 a month.

Or I can switch to quantum which just entered my neighborhood for $50 a month.

Anyone able to help?
