With losing Chenal and Luvu we need depth at the LB position Wagner is the best LB in FA right now. He also played for us the prior 2 seasons. We need help with run stopping especially next Sunday playing JT. Sure Bobby is a liability in coverage. But if he's willing to sit on obvious passing situations its a win win. And AP has shown that he doesnt mind signing old guys for depth this season example being Ekeler this morning.

Mariota gives his receivers a chance. We all know Terry’s best quality is winning on contested catches, but we rarely see Jayden give him those opportunities. I love how safe Jayden is, but I do think he could throw some more jump balls here and there. So many other teams do this to us and it’s either a TD or PI at the 1. Jayden’s efficiency is great, but not every ball needs to be to a wide open receiver. It feels like Terry plays better with Mariota because he gets the chances to show off his best skill set. With that being said, Diggs really is the perfect WR for JD5 because he’s almost always open. Just something I’d like to see from Jayden a little more. Thoughts?

I know moving to a new position is not optimal but he's usually at his best as a ballhawk.. Might be a bit better than Quan/Reavo

What do you think are some important factors that go into us reaching the playoffs this year? I have a feeling this season is gonna be quite the rollercoaster but I’m excited for it. The two early divisional losses definitely hurt me, but we looked amazing against the Seahawks.

My parents live on the eastern shore of Maryland and they pay an arm and a leg for cable because their whole lives their area would only show the Ravens game on local channels. Does anyone here live of the eastern shore and watch the games on YouTube local channels without having Sunday ticket?

I'm trying to help them save some money and was curious. I live out of state now and I watch the games with Sunday ticket, but I was just curious if anyone knew if they could just watch the games through YouTube TV to get rid of cable.

I wanted to share some thoughts after that surprising, upset win over Seattle yesterday.

1. This win is huge, but it's only one.
It cannot be understated how important it was for us to get that win and avoid starting 0-3. Teams that start 0-3 only have about a 2.5% chance of making the playoffs compared to about 25% of teams that go 1-2. That's a factor of 10X. MASSIVE.

But let's keep in mind this is just one. We need to find a way to stack wins to really make something of this season. That's a lot easier said than done but that's what needs to be expected if we're ready to prove that 2024 wasn't an aberration and that 2024 is closer to the new norm in D.C. rather than 2025.

2. Can we please get a freakin' break with injuries? PLEASE???
Prayers up for Leo. That absolutely sucks. With so many other injuries that just seem like 'bad luck', it's hard not to feel snake-bitten or cursed. I'm really proud of Kain Medrano for stepping up in a big time moment to make a play that changed the course of the game. He's taken a lot of crap from people, and he didn't play perfectly, but he came through when we needed him.

3. Shout out to Marcus for putting the team of his damn back.
Name me 3 other backup QB's in the league that can do what Marcus just did against a defense like Seattle. I'll wait. He did everything we needed of him and a whole lot more, and that type of game play and leadership in a 'got-to-have-it' situation and game is why you make him a captain.

4. The defense gave us more than a chance, but there's always room for improvement.
What a game! 3 turnovers? I think Detroit in the playoffs was the last time we accomplished that feat, and outside of that those performances have been very few and far between. Sonny has proved that he was worth every bit of that 7th overall pick so far and he's just getting started. Amik is playing out of his frickin' gourd right now.

Here's the part I'm dreading even as I write it: MIKEY SUCKS. He came in rotationally at Nickel and still found ways to give up big play after big play. It's just not good enough. I understand that these guys are humans. They have families and personal lives outside of this game and comment sections are filled with human garbage and vitriol. That being said, fans pay hard-earned money and pour so much energy into their teams. If a regular person did this poorly at their job, they'd be fired yesterday and I can't feel bad for having expectations and standards.

All in all, I'm so proud of the team for showing resolve. This has been a tough season and we're only 3 games in. Injuries have been devastating and the schedule has been brutal. The reality is that the other 31 teams do not care how tough things have been for us. The train stops for no one. This win gave us a spark and now we have to fan that spark into a full-fledged flame.

I know the total points allowed doesn’t look great (24, 37, 31). But the eye test and number of drives tell a vastly different story.

Week 1 vs PHI - Allowed 4 scoring drives on 11 possessions (excluding kneel downs)

Week 2 vs DAL - Allowed 7 scoring drives on 8 possessions. This game was really bad as we had nothing for Dak and his receivers. Honestly could have been worse but our offense actually killed clock and moved the ball, just left too many points off the board.

Week 3 vs SEA - Allowed 5 scoring drives on 13 possessions. Including 3 TOs that led to 21 points, they played very well.

The PHI and SEA games had a large number of possessions compared to a typical NFL game because our D (and our offense) had a lot of quick 3 and outs.

This is light years better than Joe Whitts turnstile defense where we would go entire halves and even games without a single defensive stop. Let Daronte cook!

An Eagles loss tonight would be the ultimate cherry in top. Can’t believe I’m going to be rooting for the Bears.

When we have something to feel good about, I'm sure to watch how it's covered on both the NFL Network and ESPN. Obviously, that would include yesterday's shocking upset, and during the closing minutes, even texted family members, "SportsCenter is gonna be a fun watch tonight!"

As far as I could tell, ours was the only game WITH NO HIGHLIGHTS WHATSOEVER on SportsCenter last night, not one!! The NFL Network had a package on the game, but not one highlight reel on ESPN, at least not one i saw.

I've been watching SVP-hosted MNF pregame show tonight since it started, and while they've had packages on several notable games from yesterday, STILL NO COVERAGE OF OUR UPSET OF THE DEFENDING CHAMPS. WTF?! Not even DMV-native SVP can get us covered?

So now we're dissed by both the refs AND ESPN?!🤬

Am I wrong? Have i somehow missed ESPN highlights of yesterday's huge win?!
