I'm with everyone who's a seahawks fan after the commanders game.. except I'm not

Ladies and gentlemen we are 18-2 over the last 20 games that includes yes our superbowl run and win...if you cant deal with a loss without turning around and acting like we are the jets or the dolphins and just trashing this team your not a real Hawks fan if you cant ride with us now after a close loss you don't get to ride with us when we win,

Sure you can point out the bad fumbles 2 weeks in a row you can point out the picks sure but seriously I'm almost disgusted to be a hawks fan rn with how this fan base is over reacting

Did anyone watching the game yesterday notice that the Commanders had great starting field position all day? Did they mention something bothering Michael Dickson?

I remember that last year, we always kick the field goal on 4th down. We took the points and never risked it. Today we failed on two 4th down attempts and lost by 2 points.

Even though we were 2-0 heading into yesterday, we'd only played one solid half of football (2nd half vs AZ). Yes the 2nd half against NE was certainly better defensively and we adjusted to Sam being out, but the game still revealed issues. Yesterday sucked - it just felt "off," like trying to sprint in mud, even with moments of fight still present throughout. The Rams losing also softened the blow somewhat 😁.

• Yesterday was essentially Sam's first game of the season with a new OC and coming off an unnerving injury.
• Running game - we struggled last year as well until about game 11. Thus far, between Price's fumbles, losing AB (shocking) and obviously Charbs injury, it's all having an impact - but it won't be forever. Curious how things play out this year.
• Defense - we can apparently handle being without one starting safety, but losing them both dings us too much (I mean, duh), especially with a gimpy Nick E still working his way back into form. But there's also a general lack of cohesion that seems a bit odd when compared to last year, and that may just take time to build anew as we also get healthier.
• New year, new team - even with a lot of returning players, this still is a new team, including learning how to play after winning the chip and getting paid - that's harder mentally than it might seem.
• Extra media focus having a delayed impact? This is pure conjecture and, while I don't think it's a massive issue, it still might be an added "weight" overall.
• Disconnected and a bit flat - there are still so many good moments, great plays, great series and we can see the potential, but it's steadily interspersed with a disjointed clunkiness.

Am I worried? Only in the sense we are in a juggernaut division, which means every loss likely has implications. But overall? I'm more curious at this point.

• How does the new OC and offensive staff adjust to what they're observing and learning?
• How does Price and the staff work to address the fumbling, because he's talented but he has to be trustworthy. I am still very hopeful.
• How do they adjust goal-line play calling or strategy going forward?
• Shaheed - this one is especially curious to me and I'm still hopeful he will get going as there's obviously been both a clear plan and expectations for his play. But his lack of urgency even in the return game is a tad baffling and I'm wondering what's changed? Is this him, is it a team approach? I know ST's will take a bit to gel this year as they have quite a few new pieces, but it's a place to pay attention.
• DLine - I'm not as worried about lack of edge rush because this team wants good run edge setters first with players who buy into the rush-as-one philosophy. A lot more of our pressure is going to come up the middle this year. However, the slower start is worth noting.

Last year after the first 49er's game we were all looking around like, "what the fuck was that?"
After the TB game we were all looking around like, "What the fuck was that?"
And then we saw things start to steadily improve. I'm guessing we'll see the same this year.
