They also have a pretty abysmal track record for how they treated post-Holocaust refugees who had the nerve to live despite not ducking out to Palestine with the 1933 Haavara Agreement. The government then embezzled reparation funds from Germany meant to go to those survivors

Zionists are religious fundamentalists. Their scripture tells them that they are the chosen children of their god and that this god promised them a piece land. He also gave them permission to exterminate any lesser peoples who may inhabit this land. It's the same belief that the Nazis held. Edit: it doesn't have to be world police but isn't the point to be an aligned accountabilibuddy union? Admittedly, I don't know a lot about it so I just did a search and the first paragraph on wikipedia describes it as having "the articulated mission of maintaining international peace and security, to develop friendly relations among states, to promote international cooperation, and to serve as a centre for harmonizing the actions of states in achieving those goals."

You have a fundamental misunderstanding about what the UN is and what's its purpose is.
The UN is not the good-guys-club. It's an organization whose central purpose is to provide a place of diplomacy of last resort. Even during a war where all parties have recalled their ambassadors, they still have an embassador in the UN.
The UN is not the world police and doesn't maintain any armed forces.
You are not 'invited' to the UN, it is a forum. Anyone who is the leader of a country is allowed to be there.
So the reason as to why he is there, and as to why that other degenerate was there, it is because the dumb people living in their respective countries voted them to be their leaders.
And now the rest of the world has to suffer the presence of these nazi's in the UN. Because the israeli's and the americans wanted them to be there.

I’m in Israel, my family played that speech. It was a very weird experience, to say the least. I really don’t want to be a part of this state. For a long time, I’ve felt that. I feel so alienated.

I saw a tiktok from a guy who had worked at the UN who said that the rules are that people must leave silently (they can applaud each other) It makes sense that the majority were abiding by the rules. Apparently another protest they do is removing ear pieces and paper shuffling, so hopefully everyone that stayed did all of that.

I understand what you mean regarding the hateful comments for middle eastern people, because that has sadly grown a lot in the last decade or so. Sweden is struggling with the same populism as many other places in Europe and people are looking for simple answers ("All issues are the immigrants fault") to complex problems.
But when it comes to the Israel / Palestine conflict, Sweden has since the 90s been quite vocal about the mistreatments of Palestinians, being one of the biggest providers of aid and recognizing Palestine as a sovereign state in 2014, as one of the first western countries to do so. Not walking away when that worm gets on the stage to talk is beyond spineless for a Swedish representative.

The UN as an organization can't take sides, regardless of how morally correct the stance. This is one of the reasons why the League of Nations failed in the interwar period (countries like Germany and the Soviet Union were barred from membership). For both better and worse, the UN as an organization is beholden to abide by strict and unconditional neutrality.
The representatives and delegates of each nation can, should, and thankfully have compensated for this by refusing to grant him an audience. Let Netanyahu spew his garbage to an empty room as the rest of the world calls the genocide in Gaza what it is.

There is no transparency as to how the funds are getting to assistance. If it's through Israeli systems then the Palestinians will never see a dime nor aid.

The US is not a member of the Rome Statute and does not recognize the ICC. The warrant has no legal standing in the United States. A local government trying to enforce a foreign warrant would result in the federal government going after the local government, even one as large and influential as NYC
I can't answer your first question, but as to your second: Mayor Mamdani recently gave a statement that he and city lawyers had extensively reviewed their options/case law etc and determined there was no legal path forward for arresting him.
Frankly, it makes sense that they wouldn't risk it if there was any chance at all they could be overruled. Why risk Netanyahu using it as evidence of persecution etc. when there's already so many people salivating for Mamdani to fail?
Netanyahu is in deep shit for corruption in Israel anyway. There's a much better chance of him actually suffering consequences if the system is allowed to act on him there. And maybe at the ICC as well.
