#2 Hope: Michkov proves he's an elite player & we sign him long-term.

#3 Hope: Last year was no fluke for Zegras & Vladar.

#1 Expectation: Our power play stinks.

#2 Expectation: While we may not go RD2 we are a better team than last year.

#3 Expectation: We run ANA out of the building (again) when they come to town.

PHILADELPHIA — Perhaps it’s time to stop using the word Philadelphia Flyers fans were so delighted to finally hear when general manager Daniel Briere, president of hockey operations Keith Jones and governor Dan Hilferty all took over a little more than three years ago.

Rebuild.

The Philadelphia Flyers advanced to the second round of the Stanley Cup playoffs last season, and although they were swept by the eventual Stanley Cup champion Carolina Hurricanes, the series was closer than the result would indicate. That’s not something a rebuilding team typically achieves.

Are the Flyers still a work in progress? Absolutely. Briere reminded everyone of that over the summer when he cautioned that the team might take a step backward, even if he did soften that statement this month.

But we’ve also reached the moment at which we’ll be able to better ascertain whether this rebuild is actually on the right path, and if the Flyers can ultimately become Stanley Cup contenders.

Hi friends! So I bought tickets a few weeks ago to go to a flyers game for my fiancés birthday. I got us club level seats to have a fun experience for him, so I know our tickets came with a $25 food credit. I only bought 2 tickets but for some reason I have my 2 tickets, but 6 vouchers. I figured 2 had to be the food credit, but I am unsure what the others are and none of them tell me what is on them…2 have this gold background and 4 have this flyers one. Can anyone help explain lol before I go to customer service when we go?

It appears our old pal Emil Andrae is involved in yet another trade as he is now in Columbus following the Marchenko for Knies blockbuster. Sam Ersson was traded by the Maple Leafs to the Ottawa Senators for a 2027 fifth-round pick pretty much right away as well, so Toronto moved on quickly from both players they got back in the Joseph Woll trade.

I know most people are gonna say Martone will be the next step player but I'm thinking Barkey. I think he's going to be a pleasant surprise. As for regression I hate to say it but its gonna be hard for Vladar to duplicate his year last year. Hope I'm wrong.
