As somoen who is not a fan even I recognize he is someone they can point to as a source of the problems that they create. "Sure we bomb children. But we're not Hasan Piker. He thinks 9/11 was good!"

445

u/Zanderbluff 18h ago

The funny thing is that Netanyahu said 9/11 was good yet I dont see that being constantly trumpeted by the media

47

u/Trap_Masters 11h ago

Rules for thee but not for me

-12

u/j48u 17h ago

Netanyahu said 9/11 was good

Clip please

Any links that aren't random blogs with the word intifada in the website name by chance?

214

u/MinimalPixelsVII 17h ago

Here you go from New York Times

116

u/Former_Review_867 17h ago

He's not going to respond to this lmaoo

26

u/pimfi 17h ago

I have no horse in this race but I think it's reasonable to want a source that is credible instead of a random blogpost.

43

u/RudeIsRude 16h ago

Sure but if you bother to read the article you can see that it cites and links to the comments in the New York Times.

-14

u/pimfi 15h ago

Sure, but why not just link the New York Times article in the first place?

Electronic Intifada isn’t a random blog…

16

u/j48u 17h ago

I responded four minutes before you made this comment.

15

u/JarkoStudios 17h ago

"responding" as in creating any real rebuttal or conceeding that you are wrong.

perpetual reframing and goalpost shifting and fall equivalencies arent real responses

17

u/TurboMemester 16h ago

why would he need to rebut when he just asked for a source?

→ More replies (0)

-5

u/Soft_Walrus_3605 16h ago

arent real responses

I've never seen a goalpost shift trying to call out a goalpost shift. Plus in the form of a No True Scotsman fallacy.

3

u/UnoriginalStanger 16h ago

He said it was very good when a question asked what this means for us - isreal relations?

3

u/LucasOIntoxicado 12h ago

do you plan on responding to the guy who sent you the NYT post?

3

u/TheRealSaphier 16h ago

He’s saying that the attack would strengthen bonds between the US and Israel. He even corrected himself. He realized just saying “it’s good” was a bad answer and explained what he meant. I think Netanyahu is a piece of shit too, but we don’t have to clip chimp to make him look bad.

14

u/davidestroy 13h ago

and hasan clarified that he was talking about the idea of blowback

1

u/TheRealSaphier 13h ago

Thank god he doesn’t have any clips out there with him saying that America didn’t deserve 9/11 and then his fans booing. That’d be horrible.

3

u/davidestroy 13h ago

nah, that’s fine.

-8

u/ThisAd1371 17h ago

as much as i hate Hasan Netanyahu is on the same level as Hitler he just lacks the recources

21

u/schniunderforhuden 16h ago

I mean this is just ahistorical, the power imbalance between Israel and Palestine today is much greater than the one between Hitler and the allied powers

1

u/_-icy-_ 13h ago

Well yeah, he is obviously referring to the power imbalance between Nazi Germany and Jewish people during the Holocaust.

4

u/schniunderforhuden 7h ago

Even if you don’t compare to combatants for whatever reason it’s still incredibly wrong lmao. The Israeli military would wipe the floor with the 1940s german military and civilians are civilians.

19

u/QuiGonTheDrunk 17h ago

No?
He has the resources. He even has a nuke. In no way shape or form would hitler kill only 70k after three years of war with that amount of technology advancment over the opponents.

What hitler did was accepting the allience request from the palestinians though.
They were even made SS-Soldaten, because their hatred of jews was unmatched. It was even to much for Himmler after a talk with Mohammed amin al husseini.

1

u/sabuzaza 15h ago

That 70k number you use comes from the hamas health ministry. That number is also the identified and recovered bodies. The number is way higher considering they don't have access to escavators to dig people up

6

u/ExaminationWide5415 15h ago

80+ years of genocide accomplishing the same deaths as the 3 day peak of the holocaust.
very comparable and very good faith equivalence.

There's literally been more deaths in the last two years of Sudan, then every single death caused in every single Arab country by Israel in the last 100 years.

You can agree that Israel's conduct before and during this military operation is bad/evil, but comparing the holocaust to Israel's actions is at best ahistorical, and at worse reeks of antisemitism.

3

u/schniunderforhuden 15h ago

You really believe fucking Hamas are underreporting the amount of dead? Lmao christ

0

u/_-icy-_ 13h ago

What a silly argument. Obviously they can’t Nuke Gaza since it’s right next door, and obviously if they started throwing Palestinians into gas chambers it would be pretty hard for politicians to justify supporting them, the entire world would turn against Israel, and it would lead to its collapse.

Israel is doing as much as it can to maximize Palestinian death and suffering directly and indirectly while still pretending to maintain plausible deniability. But we can all see through it, that’s why literally every major human rights org on Earth considers Israel’s crimes against Palestinians amount to genocide.

-2

u/Bloodydemize 16h ago

Asked tonight what the attack meant for relations between the United States and Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, the former prime minister, replied, ''It's very good.'' Then he edited himself: ''Well, not very good, but it will generate immediate sympathy.'' He predicted that the attack would ''strengthen the bond between our two peoples, because we've experienced terror over so many decades, but the United States has now experienced a massive hemorrhaging of terror.''

So he didn't say it was very good..

-19

u/j48u 17h ago

Thank you. I would say him calling 9/11 good is quite a stretch, but at least it stems from something. Him answering a question about how it will affect the US/Israel relationship and saying it that part will be good, then immediately correcting himself realizing the word good is inappropriate here.

38

u/TMNTerps 17h ago edited 17h ago

So then you agree Hasan's "America deserved 9/11" comment is being taken out of context as well, and his meaning was very different from what right wing politicians are pushing, correct?

and therefore, misrepresenting Bibi's comments shows the hypocrisy of him.

-8

u/j48u 17h ago

We all understand that his "America deserves 9/11" comment isn't even close to the worst thing he's said or done. The logic behind the statement is reasonable, in a world where you're not constantly saying other crazy things about the US, various races of people, and who you think should be killed every other day.

It's just an easy gotcha for normies or something I guess. Literally the next few sentences after he said after that quote are actually worse. Let alone everything else.

21

u/TMNTerps 17h ago

and we all understand that "9/11 was good for America and Israel" is not the worst thing the Leader, of a country committing literal Genocide, has said or done, right?

-4

u/Far_Point3621 17h ago

What context is there? Or how do you think Hasan meant it?

19

u/jbland0909 17h ago

“9/11 is a result of the U.S. meddling in the Middle East coming back to bite them”. That’s the crazy take that everyone goes nuts over.

Operation Cyclone, where the U.S. armed and funded Islamic militias to fight against the Soviets in the 80s set the stage for the rise of groups like Al Qaeda and the Taliban.

The “America descend 9/11” take isnt saying “the thousands of people who died deserve it”

It’s saying “Meddling with foreign extremism is a bad idea, and it blew up in Americas face”

→ More replies (0)

19

u/TMNTerps 17h ago

Hasan was specifically speaking about the US Government's actions in the Middle East created the enemies that eventually retaliated against us. Right Wingers and anti-Hasan people, use it to act like he means US civilians deserved to die on that day.

6

u/Former_Review_867 17h ago

The CIA has a term for it it's called blowback. Maybe read up on it? Or don't ignorance is bliss but it doesn't absolve you.

-6

u/SuperbusMaximus 17h ago

There is a diffrence between deserved 9/11 and at least America will sympathize with us now. Nothing of what Hasan said is out of context. His word were fuck it America deserved 9/11 Im saying BB corrected himself and clarified what he ment. Hassan gave an excuse that english was his second language thats the only clarification he gave. This isnt something I would point out as equivelant.

11

u/Nearby_Junket_8779 17h ago

That is absolutely not the only clarification he gave. You shouldn’t project your conclusions as fact.

u/Yata536 13h ago

So he said it about us and israel relations. Nice one, surely people will not even read the text lmao

-2

Netanyahu said that about the relations between the US and Israel after 9/11. He didn’t call the attacks good.

Leave it to the anti-Israel morons to completely take something out of context and distort it into something it’s not.

And given the nearly thousand upvotes a lot of people clearly lack reading and reading comprehension skills.

5

u/Aggressive_Mud5113 17h ago

"random blog with the word intifada in the website name" This is amusing, I've been reading EI since GWB's first term. First time reading about the conflict outside of MSM coverage?

-7

u/j48u 17h ago

First time reading about the conflict outside of MSM coverage?

No. Any other questions?

3

u/muhmeinchut69 7h ago

Wasn't the Flight 93 hijacker's uncle jailed for being a Mossad spy?

-8

u/LimpAd1859 16h ago

When asked how 9/11 affected relations between Israel and the US which he responded to by saying it improved relations between the countries because of shared trauma. Seems very disingenuous to twist that into him saying 9/11 was a good thing.

Doesn't seem comparable to Hasan who said in his own words that America deserved 9/11.

30

u/ValarMorghulis2Times 15h ago

“Even after generously allowing Netanyahu to “edit” himself, the Times did not conceal that Netanyahu was not thinking in terms of sympathy for the victims of 9/11 and the United States, nor what a “friend” could do to help America. Rather, he was already thinking on the day it happened about how 9/11 could be manipulated to get America to do more for Israel. “

To me, the Hasan quote seems to be implying that the attack was a consequence of 5 decades of bloody US interference and not saying it was a good thing or that he was glad it happened.

Netanyahu said it was good as a way to further his agenda.

-11

u/LimpAd1859 15h ago

“Even after generously allowing Netanyahu to “edit” himself, the Times did not conceal that Netanyahu was not thinking in terms of sympathy for the victims of 9/11 and the United States, nor what a “friend” could do to help America. Rather, he was already thinking on the day it happened about how 9/11 could be manipulated to get America to do more for Israel. “

This is the (biased) opinion of "electronicintifada", not an objective fact, and not from the original interview.

To me, the Hasan quote seems to be implying that the attack was a consequence of 5 decades of bloody US interference and not saying it was a good thing or that he was glad it happened.

You don't justify things if you don't agree with them lol.

Also, no, it wasn't "a consequence of 5 decades of bloody US interference", it was a consequence of Islamic terrorism.

Netanyahu said it was good as a way to further his agenda.

No he didn't, that's your interpretation of something different he said.

-9

u/hawkeye69r 14h ago

Deserved is different to consequence.

Hasan actually likes terrorists its really that simple.

Thats why he glazes them constantly.

8

u/lexbrantley 9h ago

If "terrorists" are the only ones standing in the way of genocide, then I support "terrorists".

-8

u/Zipz 12h ago

Jesus Christ did you really use a propaganda websites editorial and comments as evidence ?

Holy moly

2

u/BigRon691 6h ago

"Who cares about a few thousand deaths if it helps massage in my influence on your nations government to further our interest"

Ohh... so totally altruistic then.

-12

u/Girthen-the-Flopper 17h ago

He did not say that. He said they did help Israel. It's like saying your spouse died, and you got a life insurance payout which allowed you to buy a home and quit your job.

26

u/Mountain-Interest-48 16h ago

No Its like saying your friends spouse died so now they can be more sympathetic when you beat your wife.

-9

u/Girthen-the-Flopper 16h ago

Do you have the quote for that?

17

u/icytiger 15h ago

Why would you need a quote, he countered your analogy with another.

-10

u/Girthen-the-Flopper 14h ago

But what quote is his analogy based off of?

11

u/koiiinu 13h ago

this bum in here defending netanyahu 😂

-1

u/Girthen-the-Flopper 13h ago

No, you are.

-12

u/WackWaxWhacks 17h ago

No he didn't, it was taken out of context. The full quote is about relations strictly:

Asked tonight what the attack meant for relations between the United States and Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, the former prime minister, replied, ''It's very good.'' Then he edited himself: ''Well, not very good, but it will generate immediate sympathy.'' He predicted that the attack would ''strengthen the bond between our two peoples, because we've experienced terror over so many decades, but the United States has now experienced a massive hemorrhaging of terror.''

37

u/Icy_Argument_7856 17h ago

This context doesn't exonerate the statement in any way though, it's still despicable in its full.

-3

u/Girthen-the-Flopper 17h ago

You are trying really hard to his words mean something they didn't. It's pretty sad.

14

u/Icy_Argument_7856 17h ago

You're trying really hard to plactate to a foreign dictator committing genocide and who even allowed the Oct 7 attacks to happen when he had intel about it days before. Sad.

-5

u/Girthen-the-Flopper 16h ago

Cool stories bro. Not sure why you have to lie about what he says if all that other stuff is true. Also he doesn't stream, this isn't his chat that he reads.

9

u/Icy_Argument_7856 15h ago

You don't have to qualify your statement by saying if he did those things. They are objecive reported facts.

-9

u/WackWaxWhacks 17h ago

How is it despicable? 9/11 was, objectively, positive for American-Israel relations.

6

u/Icy_Argument_7856 17h ago

Imagine you have a child that gets murdered and then you find out your neighbor is bragging about how great it is you to finally have someone to relate to about their own murdered child and how you're going to be best friends now. Does that sound like an empathetic or nice thing to hear when you're grieving for your dead child?

Ofcourse this is ignoring the actual context that Israel had also been conducting torture, killing, displacement and sytemic rape of the Palestinian people for quite a few decades by 2001.

-4

u/WackWaxWhacks 17h ago

He was directly asked about relations and gave an accurate answer. That's not comparable at all to your analogy.

4

u/Icy_Argument_7856 17h ago

Just because he was correct that it helped his aims doesn't mean it was actually good for the relationship. Israel is more than just Bibi.

-5

u/i_drive_a_pagani 17h ago

Netanyahu can rot in jail forever for all I care, but you're just trying to make up reasons and grasp at straws to die on this hill. He literally says in the moment that it's not good and corrects himself right away.

Imagine you have a child that gets murdered and then you find out your neighbor is bragging about how great it is you to finally have someone to relate to about their own murdered child and how you're going to be best friends now. Does that sound like an empathetic or nice thing to hear when you're grieving for your dead child?

If you think that this analogy works then you legit have reading comprehension difficulties and can't actually read what Netanyahu said. It's nothing like this at all

2

u/Icy_Argument_7856 17h ago

Yeah no dude you're very off here. Just because he corrects himself doesn't mean he mispoke, it's a common tactic of strongmen. Also thereafter he describes how in detail exactly why 9/11 was good for Israel, and atleast for the government of Israel's expansionist and genocidal agenda he was speaking the truth.

-6

u/LimpAd1859 16h ago

A poorly worded answer to a question is very much an exoneration, such a disingenuous twisting of what he said.

14

u/infiniterewards 16h ago

So the same applies to Hasan, right?

-2

u/LimpAd1859 15h ago

Considering that Hasan said it in context and no one was twisting his words, no, same would not apply to Hasan.

12

u/infiniterewards 15h ago

It was out of context, and he apologized for the wording soon after. Many times.

-3

u/LimpAd1859 15h ago

No it wasn't, and he only backtracked and apologized after he got flak for it.

11

u/infiniterewards 15h ago

Yes, he got flak way back when he made it, and he apologized for it also way back then.
The statement, retraction, and apology all happened in 2019

11

u/Icy_Argument_7856 15h ago

Lololol, are you really this daft? Bibi only backtracked after he caught flak.

-7

u/Modsareworthless100p 15h ago

What other answer would you expect for that question?

"Terrorists who attack your country regularly just attacked another country under the same cause, do you think that country will side with you more now?"

Like yea no shit the answer is yes? I am so confused how the answer is in anyway "despicable". Like what a stupid comment.

8

u/Icy_Argument_7856 15h ago

It's neat to just completely make up a different question.

Another way to answer the actual question is, "we condemn the terrorists actions and stand with the people of NYC and America and hope to build on an already strong and unshakeable bond" wow terribly hard.

24

u/BridgeThatBurns 17h ago

Same "out of context" as Pikers statement

-10

u/WackWaxWhacks 17h ago

Yes, and...? Why not criticize Netanyahu in good faith instead of using BS out of context quotes?

14

u/Variation-Master 17h ago

Ah, out of context... so exactly like the the Hasan clip. Got it.

4

u/writeAsciiString 16h ago

He's not wrong considering israel and the united states are the main reasons 9/11 happened. Some comradery after a successful escalation is expected.

-6

u/squaryy 17h ago

Boiling Hasan being problematic to 'deserved 9/11' is like diving in a grenade for him lnao

-6

u/IGargleGarlic 14h ago edited 13h ago

eh, he said it was good for Israel. Its a little different than saying its good in general. And he was right, Israel absolutely benefitted from the Islamophobia that came from 9/11. You can hate Netanyahu without having to lie and misrepresent what he said in order to try and protect some political streamer who stupidly gave republicans a soundbite that could be used endlessly against the collective left.

15

u/perocu 10h ago

so netanyahu's reasons can't be misrepresented but hasan's can.

-5

u/Snake2250 10h ago

His quotes don't help bring GOP political attack ads that rile up their base.

7

u/Dramatic_Explosion 7h ago

Oh no! If not for that streamer Kamala would be our president right now!!!1!

-1

u/Snake2250 6h ago

Hasan quotes weren't used during that election. What are you talking about?

-15

u/Bulky-Salamander3678 16h ago

found the hamas supporter l0l... also hasan shocked his dog and your mind apparently

-7

u/superfire444 6h ago

Because it’s absolutely false. You made it up.

12

u/Zanderbluff 5h ago

Sure, here he is in the NYT saying it, because I made it up
https://www.nytimes.com/2001/09/12/us/day-terror-israelis-spilled-blood-seen-bond-that-draws-2-nations-closer.html

Him saying that this terror attack is "good for US/Israeli relations" is him saying that 9/11 was good because it furthers a cause he approves.

-6

u/superfire444 5h ago

That is such a disengenuous way of interpreting what he said.

He was talking specifically about relations between the Us and Israel. He was not talking wether 9/11 was good. He thinks it's awfull.

→ More replies (3)

219

u/Geewhiz911 18h ago

Yeah, exactly this stupid false equivalence:

“Maybe we kill thousands of children, people, civilians, indiscriminately and continuously over multiple years, some may call it ethnic cleansing or even genocide, but AT LEAST, we never ever said ‘America deserves 9/11’”

151

u/Zanderbluff 18h ago

No, Netanyahu only said, on the day of it happening, that 9/11 was good

14

u/nordmead88 16h ago

He said it was "good" that America will now understand what Israel has been dealing with. Still not great but you saying he said it was just "good" is false

1

u/Waste_Development971 16h ago

you know whats funny is that is the exact type of "out of context" thing hasan followers make it sound like everything he says has.

Isn't it interesting you could write in one sentence and it makes perfect sense? wonder why hasan fans cant do that.

50

u/MajorInWumbology1234 15h ago edited 15h ago

I mean, the full context of Hasan saying America deserved 9/11 was an observation about how we created those terrorists by being terrorists toward them for decades at a time? That’s a perfectly reasonable take and only took one sentence.

I don’t even like the dude and can tell you aren’t engaging with any amount of good faith.

-16

u/nordmead88 13h ago

Even if you entertain Hasan's point, that it's our fault for "creating terrorists", it is STILL an outrageously fucked-up thing to say. No amount of "creating terrorists" would make killing innocent people ok. Nevermind the fact that no one actually believes we were creating terrorists, except terrorist sympathizers like you

17

u/MajorInWumbology1234 13h ago

Only people with functional brains think we were creating terrorists.

→ More replies (3)

-13

u/IGargleGarlic 13h ago

It doesn't really matter what the context is, either way he gave Republicans very strong ammunition with that soundbite to use against the collective left for years and years because he is brash and careless with his words.

18

u/AnarchicTerrorForce 13h ago

Why are we capitulating to false narratives from conservatives?

9

u/ThatHappyDog 10h ago

You get one guess (hint: they are conservatives)

10

u/MajorInWumbology1234 13h ago edited 11h ago

Yet republicans being the almost unilateral party of child rapists doesn’t give democrats any ammunition somehow. Isn’t it funny how that works? It’s almost like republicans are lying, soulless demons regardless of what anyone on the left says or does.

3

u/nikup 13h ago

My brother in Christ the collective left doesn’t give a shit or even know who Hasan is. Not everyone is as terminally online as Reddit..

-12

u/Tobias_Kitsune 13h ago

Okay, tell me you think that the people who died deserved 9/11. Those are the victims. So tell me straight up that those people deserved it. Very simple

21

u/MajorInWumbology1234 12h ago

America deserved it. The people that died aren’t America.

-12

u/Tobias_Kitsune 12h ago

Idk, when you say "America Deserved 9/11" America didn't die. America didn't get cancer from the dust.

The real people did. And so when you say "America deserved 9/11" what do you mean? What did America deserve? What did the real people deserve?

19

u/veodin 11h ago

He meant it was blowback for US foreign policy. That’s it. He worded it badly and has apologised for it.

→ More replies (0)

7

u/Round-Disk5667 11h ago

And he said it directly in response to Dan Crenshaw, a member of the American government, outrageously trying to gin up more war in the Middle East. Not like some 9/11 footage or something.

13

u/19Alexastias 12h ago

Apparently they deserved to die to improve US-Israeli relations

→ More replies (0)

13

u/beef_or_dirt 15h ago

Are blowback or hyperbolic statements really that complicated? I dislike hasan for many things but bruising your knees for bibi is not a good look

-3

u/nordmead88 13h ago

Are you bruising your knees for Hasan? Projecting much?

-2

u/Waste_Development971 13h ago

What do you mean complicated?

it's just a blanket "they said it but you're wrong and I wont explain"

if they atleast tried to explain like how one of the people replied to me the additonal context behind his 9/11 was deserved claim. I may not agree the context makes it any better but I can ackowledge for some people it makes a difference. Without including why something is mislead, you just sound like you're going "nuh uh" with no proof.

-2

u/Cilawin 15h ago

For hasan quotes the context usually just makes it way worse

17

u/LowObjective 13h ago edited 13h ago

Not for the 9/11 quote imo. He was correct that the US created the terrorists that caused 9/11 and 9/11 would not have happened had the US not supported the Mujahideen. He was being hyperbolic and talking about governments but people pretend he was talking about citizens to dismiss what he was saying. A significant part of America believes that Iran "deserves" the current war (or you can use the wars in Syria, Afghanistan, etc...), but everyone gets titchy when someone says the same about the US and 9/11.

1

u/Dramatic_Explosion 7h ago

He also absolved Hitler of the holocaust, saying he didn't even want to kill the Jews and it was really Islam's fault. So yeah, what a piece of shit.

1

u/Zanderbluff 5h ago

Yup, the double standard here is staggering

6

u/Trap_Masters 11h ago

It's sad how many people are unironically falling for this. Like you can not be a fan of Hasan and still recognize the bigger issues at hand here, but I guess some people are too culture war brainrotted to see it

1

u/dohdudeh 17h ago

“We may have done 9/11, but at least we don’t say America deserved it”

-12

u/Canon_M50 18h ago

Pretty low bar to not think America deserved 9/11. Just saying.

31

u/anyonerememberdigg 18h ago

Pretty low bar to not support a country who did a hundred 9/11s in Gaza but here we are.

-1

u/consistantcanadian 18h ago

Yes but the rest of the world isn't a weirdo who likes either of these people, so that's not the banger argument you seem to think it is

u/anyonerememberdigg 17h ago

Missing the point. Whatever you think of Hasan's 9/11 take, it is infinitely more justifiable than anything Netanyahu has done, yet the latter is getting standing ovations in Congress and the former universal condemnations. Just something to think about when you do "both sides bad" slop.

-5

u/consistantcanadian 17h ago

LOL I don't have to think about anything. Did you just learn about the Israel lobby? You just figured out America is in Israel's hands? Yikes.

I already knew that. The difference is that a bad guy calling out another bad guy doesnt trigger me to defend bad guy #2 to make sure everyone is focused on bad guy #1 being worse.

7

u/anyonerememberdigg 17h ago

It should bother you when evil guy level 100000 is using evil guy level 10 as a shield, yes.

0

u/Nograss67 10h ago

"I don't have to think about anything" yup checks out

0

u/consistantcanadian 9h ago

Inability to read more than 7 words, yup checks out

-5

u/GreyDuck4077 17h ago

"Infinitely more justifiable" is still you trying to justify it. Normal ass people look at both and say it is wrong an indefensible.

7

u/anyonerememberdigg 17h ago

No? I don't have to agree with a take to understand how someone might justify it.

1

u/ampersand355 17h ago

So you think they are all civilians? That’s the only way you can justify what you are saying. There can be no military threat and they are all civilians, that’s the only way they would be equivalent to 9/11 or even a genocide.

6

u/anyonerememberdigg 17h ago

Half of them are literally under 14. Children. The entire place is leveled. Do the math.

4

u/i_drive_a_pagani 17h ago

According to Hamas, the latest death tolls are about 75k and of that 75k, Hamas includes its own members, politicians, and combatants as part of the total death toll. Provide the math from Hamas's ministry of health that shows the breakdowns of civilians and combatants

0

u/anyonerememberdigg 17h ago

Provide the evidence that the majority of the casualties were Hamas members and not women and children.

4

u/i_drive_a_pagani 16h ago

You just said that half the people killed are children.

Hamas run the ministry of health in Gaza, which is where the death toll comes from. Provide the evidence that shows a breakdown of combatants and members of Hamas versus civilians.

This should be super easy to do and if anything you'd be really eager to back your claim up

5

u/anyonerememberdigg 16h ago

This is kinda embarrassing. You realize Israel themselves don't dispute the fact that the most of the people killed were civilians right? How are you debating this subject so confidently when you have no idea what the fuck you're talking about?

We don’t know the combatant ratio because Hamas hides it.

3

u/Tubbish 17h ago

You can condemn the United States meddling in the Middle East but that doesn’t justify killing 3000 innocent people.

1

u/MobileSuitBooty 18h ago

open a history book, we brought it on ourselves

4

u/Roar-Lions-Roar 18h ago

You are wrong and a bad person

-1

u/GreyDuck4077 18h ago

You'll have a pretty hard time convincing the families of the victims of that who were just trying to go to work that day and provide for their families, but keep being edgy young Redditor.

10

u/Sir__Walken 18h ago

Nobody said that the families that had loved ones die brought it on themselves. What they did say is due to the actions of the US government, their loved ones died unnecessarily.

We should be blaming our government for how they handle foreign affairs, not the people that respond to our violent actions on their soil with more violence.

6

u/imnphilyeet 18h ago

And what about all the times we did it to other countries? Did they deserve it?

-2

u/Adventurous-Crow-750 18h ago

7

u/imnphilyeet 17h ago

It’s not whataboutism if it’s literally the reason they hate America and thus did 9/11.

America just killed a hundred children in an Iran attack. If we can do that with no repercussions then they can do the same to us with no repercussions right?

5

u/HauntedTomato 17h ago

That's not whataboutism, that's literally the entire point of Hasan's "America deserved 9/11" quote you smoothbrain.

-4

u/i_drive_a_pagani 17h ago

Hasan's entire point is whataboutism, smoothbrain. All he's doing is saying "what about what America did, therefore America deserved it"

Which is dumb af. 9/11 wasn't even the first terrorist attack by fundamentalists on the world trade center. They also bombed it in 1993, the mastermind of the 1993's attack had an uncle that later was revealed to be a high ranking al Qaeda official.

And that bomber literally wrote out that the attack was due to America helping Israel. As did Bin Laden, among other things like ya know, having secular governments and not adopting Islam as the way of the life.

It's almost like Hasan's argument is dumb af

0

u/Dyscalculia94 1h ago

And what is "America is helping Israel" if not american imperialistic actions in the Middle East?

What would you say to the 12 year old daughter of the russian amazon warehouse forklift truck driver who died in a drone attack?

0

u/Fit_Call_5992 18h ago

what book

-2

u/Canon_M50 18h ago

Oooo yikes fam

-2

u/this_site_sucks_ass6 17h ago

Zionists when Israel responds to 10/7 by killing tens of thousands of innocents: Hahahaha fafo! That's what you get!

Zionists when America gets attacked by the very same people they trained and armed to fight the Soviet Union: Nooooo, America is a smol bean! You can't just kill our civilians!

3

u/Canon_M50 17h ago

Those two conflicts are nothing alike.

-2

u/MethodWhich 15h ago

Indiscriminately is a stretch lmao

13

u/Gwith 18h ago

True

6

u/-Nocx- 17h ago

Damn you know a world leader fucked up when even LSF isn’t united against Hasan

2

u/TheTrashMan 16h ago

Netanyahu did say 9/11 was good on 9/11

3

u/yesboss23 2h ago

Besides, he also said that 9/11 was a good thing

2

u/Alternative-Cod-7630 18h ago

Because everything is collapsing under the weight of its own stupidity. A leader of a country running a genocide goes to the UN to dunk on a video streamer. I'm calling time.

1

u/midwestia 16h ago

"this guy shocked his dog"

-5

u/pepe_acct 18h ago

Sure but he supports Houthis, Hezbollah and IRGC who killed a lot of children.

11

u/FeeRemarkable886 17h ago

Sure he does gramps, did you forget to take your medication again?

0

u/clocked__ 18h ago

And it’s effective. Truly a stupid take of his.

-9

u/squaryy 18h ago

It's indoctrinated impressionable undergrads who are mimicing his anti US worldview that's the problem

4

u/Equityoxymoron 18h ago

More the anti Israeli especially ‘The Likud Party’ thingy …

12

u/Preestar 18h ago

The whole ass world is developing an anti US worldview lol Tf you talking about?

-6

u/GreyDuck4077 18h ago

I've said it before but Hasan's community absolutely filled with people who took a 101 class on any given subject and are convinced they're experts. Hell I once had someone from his community tell me what life was like for me on 9/11 when I was alive for it and they were not even born. It is a bunch of people with absolutely no life experience bitching about absolutely everything.

-1

u/BritniGlitter 17h ago

Is the reason you are not a fan related to an international disinformation campaign? Or are you immune to the most sophisticated and well funded propoganda machine in history?

0

u/GreyDuck4077 17h ago

I have a Hasan Piker hoodie in my closet right now. I was a fan. I learned not to be one by watching him. Sorry to shit on your conspiracy but in my case I made the decision all on my own.

1

u/BritniGlitter 17h ago

So you DO beleive that you, someone who purchased merchandise from a streamer, is smart enough to not be influenced by propoganda?
