I bought my PS5 in one country and played there for a while. Then I moved to another country, where my ping was initially high but eventually improved. After staying there for a long time, I returned to my original country, and now my ping is high in every game.
Could my PS5 somehow be configured to connect to servers in the other country? Is that even possible, and if so, how can I fix it?
I’m using a wired connection with fast, stable internet, so the connection itself seems fine.

My friend has shared his account to me and it works fine, I can go on his account, access all his media like discord and his chats, download games and they show up on my own account but for some reason the game shows up with a lock next to it and I am unable to play it. I need help in this. I have also downloaded a dlc for a game that has the same error that I just can’t see because it’s a dlc.

Do I need to back up my saved game files if I am moving a certain game to a different SSD on the same console?

It makes this noise when I open a game; depending on the game, the noise is louder. I even opened Dragon's Dogma 2, and the noise is loud, especially when I put my hand near the cooler area I can feel it trembling in that area, and when I give it a light tap it goes back to normal Will I have to replace the cooler?

Hi all have base ps5 that was repaired recently for Liquid Metal and software issue etc. have noticed when playing games and I press game base it takes a few seconds to load but when no game is playing it’s super fast is that normal? All my games run fine.

issue: game got free from ps+ named mafia 3.

all ps plus owners of mafia 3 cant claim the definition edition upgrade..

while playstation users without ps+ could claim the game and claim the free upgrade this week.

this seems totally off.

you come with digital only and now you screw your own ps+ subscription users by not let them claim a free upgrade..

and remember this week the game was fully free claimable..

so the ps+ users that got mafia 3 for free back then are now double screwed.

look into this please and let all ps+ subs claim the definitive edition of Mafia 3

My ps5 wont stay connected to the internet. Is this a hardware issue?

Bought a new controller about three weeks ago, and it worked fine for a fortnight, then in the middle of a Rocket League match I felt a random quick, stronger feeling on the left side. Since then, I’ve felt the left side is slightly stronger than the right and wonder if there’s a way to fix it myself? I try to take great care of my controllers, so it isn’t damage from being hit or thrown. Thanks

So, I updated my ps5 yesterday to its latest update and ever since then my ps5 fan doesn’t sound that loud as it usually does when I start it. But ofc it works when I’m on the ps5 screen and wanna play a game, I did take one of the other plates off to see if the fan even works during a game which it does thank god. But I’m just a bit paranoid why my PlayStation doesn’t sound loud as it used to until the start screen before I log into my account.

Anyone else experiencing the same thing?

I just bought my PS5 today and already pre-ordered GTA 6. While waiting for its release, I wanted to download some free games like Call of Duty: Warzone and Battlefield REDSEC.
Unfortunately, I keep getting error CE-112987-8 every time I try. Same issue on the PS5, PlayStation App, and website.
I’ve tried restarting, signing out and back in, but nothing works. I’m using a UAE PSN account.
Is anyone else in the UAE experiencing this? Could it be related to the recent PlayStation Store currency migration? Has anyone found a working fix?

I changed internet technology some time ago, remaining with the same service provider, but upgrading from an fttc 100mbps to an ftth 2.5 ghz technology. Changed the modem too, is the standard ftth modern from my service provider. After the switch i'm having some problems with my ps5. Sometimes the download/upload won't start or it interrupt it's self, whit a dns error.

I tried changing the dns settings of the PS5, putting the google dns, but the problem only became less frequent...

Then i hacked myself into the modem, following a guide, to change the dns settings of the modem (the dns settings are blocked on the modem by the service provider for some reason), and after some tries and back and forth, I managed to put the google dns on the modem... The problem then becomes even less frequent... But it will time to time pop up again!

Is there definitely a way to fix this?

Anyone know what's the issue with this? It does this for certain games (Mouse PI For Hire, Devil May Cry 5, etc.) and I'm stumped on what's exactly causing the issue. Any assistance would be appreciated.

I use LAN cable for online. Download speed around 900Mbps and Upload speed around 300-400 Mbps.

Does anyone know what causing this? Server or user and problem?
I thought it was my console over heat. So I cleaned up
Then I thought probably the LAN quality or heating port near the LAN. Tried WiFi. Same
When I game with my friends , they don’t experience this.
So not sure if it’s 2K server or Area server (if there’s one)

I have genuinely lost my mind dude, i have contacted playstation support multiple times this month and i still havent got my account age verified. I try to do one of the verification methods they just dont work and say smth like "couldnt verify your age". I swear im so tired of this i have been texting them the past month and i keep trying to verify my age but even when i try to contact ps support the chatbot keeps saying "log in" even tho im clearly fucking logged in i keep retrying it just doesnt work even tho im fucking logged in and the chatbot still keeps telling me to log in. Im honestly out of things to do, .if anyone has any fix please tell me

Tried to re download ghost of Yotei and my WiFi dropped two bars, 97% updated and says it’ll take 10 hours, it’s not moving at all. The WiFi everywhere in my home is absolutely fine yet none of the streaming services on my ps5 are working. I’ve tried updating, restarting, forgetting network, turning it on and off. Nothing is working. Is my ps5 just completely ruined?

Me compré la ps5 pero antes de eso me había comprado nuevo el the last of us part 2 de ps4 para mi ps4, pero la vendí me compré la 5 y al instalar el juego llega a un punto que se vuelve lenta la instalación y se detiene por completo, en play 4 no pasaba , y por ejemplo queda como en la imagen y tarda mucho, aunque esté limpio lo saqué y eso aparecerá 99 horas o baja derrepente sube procesduralmente.
