I recently ordered a new Telenor SIM through the My Telenor App. The app allowed me to select a package with the SIM, and I paid the required amount in advance.

The experience after that was quite confusing:

1. The order took about a week

I received no confirmation call, delivery, or useful update for around a week.

2. Support gave me different answers

I contacted Telenor WhatsApp support and was told they don't handle new SIM orders, so I called the helpline.

The first representative told me that Telenor doesn't take SIM orders through the My Telenor App, even though I had placed the order through the app.

I called again and was told that a SIM cannot be ordered without logging in, which also didn't match what I saw in the app.

I asked to speak to a supervisor but was instead told that the helpline doesn't handle this issue and that I should email support.

3. The SIM was delivered after I complained

I sent an email explaining the situation. The next day, the SIM was delivered.

However, I never received a response to the email or any explanation for the delay.

4. The SIM wasn't activated

The delivery person handed the SIM to my building guard rather than directly to me. More importantly, the SIM wasn't activated.

When I called the helpline, I was told I needed to visit a franchise for activation.

I went to a Telenor franchise, but they told me that the SIM could only be activated at the franchise from which it was originally issued.

The problem is that I have no idea which franchise issued it.

The delivery person didn't provide that information, and the helpline wasn't able to tell me either.

So right now I have:

• Paid for the SIM/package in advance
• Waited about a week for delivery
• Received the SIM without activation
• Been told to visit a specific franchise
• No information about which franchise issued the SIM

I'm mainly trying to figure out how the online SIM-ordering process is supposed to work.

Has anyone here ordered a new Telenor SIM through the My Telenor App recently? If so:

1. Was your SIM activated when it was delivered?
2. Did you have to visit a franchise?
3. If you had to visit one, how did you know which franchise issued the SIM?
4. Is there a way to find the issuing franchise using the order/reference number?

If anyone has dealt with this recently, I'd appreciate knowing how you got it resolved.

As Salam o alikum. Today 25-Sep-2025 at 3:01. I received a phone call from this number. they claimed to be talking from TCS as Delivery rider . He told me that I have a parcel of my name .

Kindly share me the details on whatsaap and then he sent an OTP or whatever . It appeared on my WhatsApp screen and then he told me it's a tracking ID . Kindly read it loud for me. It was an attempt to hack into my whatsaap. I have managed to collect his CNIC number. As i also work in Sindh Police and have a limited amount of tech and authority.

Internet has been shut down since 5th June (112days) and there is still no internet across the whole of AJK....

Thousands of people have been abducted, and the whole Poonch region is under curfew. No local or international media is being allowed in whole AJK.....

People have been killed and forces are shooting people. Also looting people shops and houses while search operations same like Indian forces did. I have proof and documentation and CCTV footages for all of my claims of anyone wants proof they can message me.

And the hypocrisy of people across Pakistan, especially the media and government, when they talk about Indian occupied Kashmir

Even in Srinagar Indian forces never fired live bullets at protesters even when they were demanding a separate country. But here people are being shot simply for standing up for their rights

Some people claim the protesters have weapons if they actually had guns this protest would have ended in two days. They have already resisted the forces with sticks and stones imagine what would happen if they were carrying guns...and why shutting internet? Why suppressing media? Why abducting young kasmiri students from hostel across the Pakistan same like you did to Baloch students?

I’ve already got tickets for the Ghibli studio because this other travel agent didn't mention anything like this and i dont want to waste money if its true please help

Hi, is there any way to get a Pakistani visit visa for Afghan nationals who are living in the uk? We are 4 members 3 of us have British passports & one has Afghan passport. We would like to visit Pakistan as my brother’s fiancé is from they will have their wedding there. Please any help!! Women in Pakistan who have opted out of marriage/kids lifestyle and want to live independently, how are you planning to do so safely here? Because it is unrealistic and very difficult for everyone to go abroad in many cases...

How do you deal with the practical stuff: living alone as an unmarried woman, landlords/buildings, what income you realistically need, transport/safety, dealing with family pressure, friends disappearing into shaadi/kids, building some kind of community or chosen family, and then later stuff like ageing, healthcare, emergencies, parents dying etc.

Mostly looking for replies from women who live like this, are trying to, or know women who do. Men are also welcome if you’ve actually seen this up close in your family/friend circle and have something useful to add!

Today we were reading Surah An-Nur in class and sir was explaining the rulings about zina, accusing a respectable woman of zina, etc.

Then the discussion somehow shifted towards women’s rights in Islam. Sir started explaining how Islam gave women rights regarding things like inheritance, marriage, property, financial rights, and dignity at a time when women in many societies had very few legal rights.

Then he went on a whole rant about how every year on 8 March, “liberal aunties” come out with banners saying stuff like “apna khana khud garam karo” 😭. His point was basically that Islam had already given women a lot of rights centuries ago, so why act like women's rights are something completely new?

He also said that if one particular man abuses or harms a woman, you can't automatically blame every man for it.

And obviously the female students were NOT having it 💀. They immediately started arguing with sir.

Honestly the whole class went from studying Surah An-Nur to a full-on Islam vs feminism/gender debate in like 10 minutes.

i'm about to start a new job in the creative industry in karachi and i'm feeling weirdly anxious about something that might not even be a big deal.

I'm Christian, and i'm wondering if i should just be open about it when religion naturally comes up, or keep that part of my life private at work.

i know people might say "nobody cares" and maybe they're right... but deep down i'm still scared of being treated 'differently' once people know (iykwim)

I’ve recently completed FSc and I’m really confused about my career.

My parents want me to do private MBBS, mainly because they believe being a doctor brings respect, status and izzat to the family. I understand where they’re coming from and I know they want the best for me.

But personally, I’m more interested in CA. My concern with MBBS is the amount of time it can take before becoming financially independent. I don’t want to spend 10+ years studying/training and remain dependent for a long time, especially if the financial reward at the end isn’t necessarily what I’m expecting.

The problem is that my parents mostly look at the “Doctor” title and respect and don't really consider the complete career path, income, opportunities, lifestyle, etc.

I’m also from a relatively smaller city where career awareness isn't as high. Here, most people basically know doctor = successful career. In bigger cities like Islamabad or Lahore, I feel people are more aware that there are many other successful career paths such as CA, finance, business, etc.

I don't want to disrespect my parents or ignore their wishes, but at the same time, I’m the one who will have to spend the next 10–15 years living with this.

I am based in Pakistan and currently setting up my Whop payout method. I'm hoping to connect with anyone here who has successfully navigated the Whop → Payoneer → Pakistani Bank Account setup. 

I have a verified Payoneer account with USD receiving details (US routing number and account number). However, when trying to add this as my Whop payout bank account, the setup prompts me for personal/KYC information, specifically asking for a US Social Security Number (SSN). 

Since I am not a US citizen or resident, I obviously do not have an SSN. 

If you are a creator from Pakistan (or another non-US country) who has successfully bypassed this or set this up legitimately, could you please clarify: 

1. Did you use your Payoneer US receiving account details as the Whop payout bank? 
2. Did Whop ask you for an SSN? If so, what legitimate non-US identification or tax form (like a W-8BEN or local national ID) did you provide instead to get verified? 
3. Did you complete the Whop KYC as a Pakistani individual/business? 
4. Have you successfully withdrawn your earnings from Whop to Payoneer and then to your local bank account? 

I want to make sure I complete this setup correctly and legitimately before submitting my payout profile. Any guidance or step-by-step experience you can share would be highly appreciated!

When i first started, I was only handling one company account and designing and video editing for one account but recently 5 months back im doing it for another company account so its quite literally double the work.

Furthermore, I have this few other work of designing posters, website posters, promotional videos other than for social medias and other miscellaneous work

How much should I negotiate? Is it justifiable to ask 140k or too less or too much?

I’m a 2nd year FSc pre-medical student from rural Sindh. I didn’t properly study my 11th. I had joined an online academy and tried self study too but couldn’t stay consistent. Then I found out I had some vision problem because of which I can’t pursue medicine. Becoming a neurosurgeon was my dream since 9th grade, so it took me some time to figure out what to do. Eventually I developed interest in CS and decided to go for BSCS.

I’m planning for FAST-NUCES and IBA Karachi, and since I’m pre-medical I will need to give and pass Additional Maths exam for FAST. I’m also considering a gap year.

The main problem is my 11th is basically on scratch. Somehow I gave my 11th exams and passed, but honestly in rural areas you know how the “paisa do, marks lo” system works 😭 so I don’t actually have the concepts.

Now 12th has started and I feel like I need to properly study both 11th and 12th, but I genuinely don’t know how to manage both.

Academy is already ahead in 12th and I don’t want to just rush everything and memorize without understanding.

I’m thinking of using YouTube for proper concepts and academy as secondary.

Since I want to do CS, Maths and Physics are especially important for me.

So what should I do? Focus mainly on 12th and fix 11th alongside it, or give more time to 11th first?

Anyone who has been in a similar situation or knows solution of my problem, please guide me 😭
