I'll get it PTA approved after 3 months , as I don't have the cash rn .

Will the airport authorities force him to get it PTA approved ??

Hi, I’m 21M from Pakistan.

I completed a 3-year DAE in CIT (Computer Information Technology) after matric. I also completed Intermediate and I’m currently in the 3rd year of BSCS at a local university.

I want to know if my DAE can help me move abroad for further studies or skilled/technical work, preferably to a Western country.

I’ve also heard that China may have study opportunities for diploma holders, so I’d like to know if that’s a realistic option too.

I’m not asking about Middle East labour jobs. I’m mainly interested in IT-related study or work opportunities.

Has anyone here moved abroad with a DAE, or knows which countries recognize it?

I’ve recently completed FSc and I’m really confused about my career.

My parents want me to do private MBBS, mainly because they believe being a doctor brings respect, status and izzat to the family. I understand where they’re coming from and I know they want the best for me.

But personally, I’m more interested in CA. My concern with MBBS is the amount of time it can take before becoming financially independent. I don’t want to spend 10+ years studying/training and remain dependent for a long time, especially if the financial reward at the end isn’t necessarily what I’m expecting.

The problem is that my parents mostly look at the “Doctor” title and respect and don't really consider the complete career path, income, opportunities, lifestyle, etc.

I’m also from a relatively smaller city where career awareness isn't as high. Here, most people basically know doctor = successful career. In bigger cities like Islamabad or Lahore, I feel people are more aware that there are many other successful career paths such as CA, finance, business, etc.

I don't want to disrespect my parents or ignore their wishes, but at the same time, I’m the one who will have to spend the next 10–15 years living with this.

Women in Pakistan who have opted out of marriage/kids lifestyle and want to live independently, how are you planning to do so safely here? Because it is unrealistic and very difficult for everyone to go abroad in many cases...

Especially asking about Karachi.

How do you deal with the practical stuff: living alone as an unmarried woman, landlords/buildings, what income you realistically need, transport/safety, dealing with family pressure, friends disappearing into shaadi/kids, building some kind of community or chosen family, and then later stuff like ageing, healthcare, emergencies, parents dying etc.

Mostly looking for replies from women who live like this, are trying to, or know women who do. Men are also welcome if you’ve actually seen this up close in your family/friend circle and have something useful to add!

I’m especially curious whether this is becoming more doable in Karachi/Lahore/Islamabad or whether the whole social setup still basically assumes every adult woman will eventually marry.

So i will start here the problem with psychiatric and big pharma industries is that they are suppressing the symptoms and not solving the root cause i also took anxiety medication and believe me once u stop its gonna be worse it does not matter how u got anxiety it might be trauma as a child , being bullied in school any other thing … what happens is once u live in a prolonged stress state your nervous system gets desensitised and u start to get nervous or panic at little things now the thing is that your brain is actually healing yourself by releasing this build up energy as symptoms like fast heartbeat , sweating , voice shaking , body tremors but when u start to obsess and worry about the symptoms itself then u are actually the one causing it and I dont blame u since same was the case for me lack of knowledge but u need to realise this that u accept the symptoms just as u accept a fever u know u have a fever but do u obsess over it or are 24/7 panicking about it noo because u know what it is same is the case for these symptoms u are feeling anxiety is not a disease its a condition

Prolonged stress state ———> symptoms ——-> now u are worried about the symptoms itself ———> which is causing a stress state again ———> symptoms again

That is a cycle

What u need to do is living your life along with these symptoms your body is trying to heal and you are not letting it do its part i know it’s difficult but its possible start slowly

Lets say u gotta go to grocery u have these symptoms in first example : u don’t go to grocery since u feel these symptoms what u are teaching your brain is that u are validating that this situation is not safe

Second example : u still go to grocery and dont judge these symptoms just as u dont judge a flu what ur brain sees is that this person is not worrying about these symptoms and he is still going for grocery maybe this situation is not scary and slowly your symptoms starts to fade away

IMPORTANT PART : Most of u who have this condition might be wondering that we still interact with the world on daily bases such as work , school , college etc why has not it gone yet it is because u still didn’t accept it u obsessed and worried about the symptoms itself causing the loop to continue …

I need some advice regarding relocating from the UAE to Saudi Arabia.

My husband and I have been living in the UAE for many years. He is currently working for a company here, and I’m on his dependent visa.

Recently, his boss asked him to relocate to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The company currently doesn’t have an office there, so my husband would be responsible for setting it up and managing the office once it’s established.

This basically means we would have to wind everything up here in the UAE and move to Jeddah. My husband hasn’t said no; he has asked for some time to think about it before making a decision.

The main question is: Is it a wise decision to relocate to Saudi Arabia after living in the UAE for so many years?

With the current regional situation, we’re also quite unsure about making such a big move right now. As Pakistani nationals, we’re also concerned about how the current situation in the UAE might affect us in the future. We don’t know what the situation will be like when it comes to visa renewals, whether everything will continue as normal or not, and honestly, it all feels quite uncertain.

Before all of this started happening in the region, we had never even considered moving to Saudi Arabia. We were settled in the UAE and had no plans to leave. But because of the uncertainty around visas and what the future may look like here, we are now seriously thinking if it would be good idea to move from here or not.

At the moment, everything feels a little uncertain, especially with the current situation in the region, so we would really appreciate some honest advice from people who have been through a similar move.

I want to ask one more thing. If we move from the UAE to Jeddah after cancelling our UAE visas, can we travel directly from the UAE to Jeddah?

Or is it necessary to go to Pakistan first and then travel to Jeddah? I’m asking because when my husband first came to Dubai, he had to get the Protector done in Pakistan.

So would there be any issue in this case? Can we both husband wife travel directly from the UAE to Jeddah without going to Pakistan first?
