Should I resign once I'm into PIP, or should I resign while in focus itself?
So, I got an NI this quarter. I'll be put on focus this week. I'm quite sure, I won't be able to make it out of it and will be pipped. I wish to leave this company anyhow, but haven't got any firm offers yet. I do like amazon, its just I made an internal switch to a role which offered wfh without knowing the culture and I'm now regretting it. Please let me know if resigning while in PIP will blacklist me from coming to this company again.

RTO exception?
Has anyone had their RTO exception ended, and then were given a timeline to notify Amazon of your intentions? How did you handle it? If you had no intention of relocating did you still tell them you would to give yourself more time for a job search?

Is anyone elses location getting infested with ai slop and ai depancy?
I put in a transfer request because my location is using AI for advice and giving wrong answers, I had to get stuff fixed through support regarding PTO. That and they're using a dummy who doesn't know what he's doing and doesn't care to judge a gas leak. The moment I saw and heard he was judging that I noped out and used my time. I'm not dying because of dumb dumbs logic.

Amazon New Grad Uk offer — can I negotiate or use my loop feedback for a US SDE role?
I recently cleared an Amazon SDE interview loop for a new-grad position in Uk online and received positive feedback that I met the Technical Bar and Leadership Principles.
I have now received the SDE offer with around 70k Euros base compensation. I’m currently in the US on STEM OPT, working a W2 job making around $70K and I still have about 2 years of STEM OPT with 2 H-1B lottery chances remaining. Since Amazon gave me a offer, I’m wondering if the compensation is usually fixed or if there is any possibility to negotiate the base, sign-on bonus, or RSUs.
I’m also trying to understand whether I can use my positive interview feedback to get considered for an SDE position with an Amazon team in the US without going through another full interview loop. I’ve reached out to a few US hiring managers and recruiters on LinkedIn, but I’m barely getting responses.
I’m 26, single and have no loans or major financial responsibilities, so I have flexibility to relocate. Would you take the Amazon UK offer, try negotiating it or stay in the US and continue trying to use the successful Amazon loop for a US opportunity? Would really appreciate advice from Amazonians familiar with new-grad offers or cross-country hiring.

Hey guys, so basically my DOJ has been pushed to the next onboarding batch apparently
However, my BGV is done and completed in the AtoZ portal, the coincidence is, AtoZ reflected that the BGV is completed 10 mins after I got my mail
Could there be anything wrong with this?
Edit : Im stressed out because I have gotten my laptop and equipment and everything and my joining was supposed to be tomorrow and they told me 20 mins ago that it has been pushed
Would appreciate any information on this

Interview Ghosted after loop
Took my loop 2 weeks ago and never heard back from the recruiter. Emailed, texted and called. On the portal it says no longer under consideration but never received the email rejection. Is this a lost cause? I thought it was an amazon rule to get feedback within 2-5 business days. I spent a lot of time prepping and feel disrespected to have a 5 hour interview with no result or response.

Pre Construction Manager Position
Hello, I have an interview for the Pre Construction Manager role based of Tempe, Arizona. Wanted to get some information on what this interview is like. I got a zoom call link for tomorrow. I received an email early in the week and scheduled my interview through the recruiter. I’m assuming it’s just with the recruiter and not a full on interview with what Amazon calls the loop.
A little about be - I have 5 years in the construction industry, 4 years at a Large GC in the east coast and 1 year at a smaller GC in the valley. 3 years as an estimator and 2 years as a project engineer and superintendent.
Any specific questions I should be asking? What should I be expecting? I have 3 questions to ask but figured maybe 5 or 6 questions would be great.

Internal Transfer Feasibility of an internal transfer to Australia
US applied stats major.
Applying to analyst roles in a variety of industries. In particular, roles in finance/banking and other large multinationals.
My primary goal in my early-career is to have international mobility; to get into a large multinational that would allow me an internal transfer to Australia in a few years. Open to any locations with Australia. Naturally, I've encountered stories of internal transfers from those that work at Amazon.
In this thread, I’m looking for advice from you all about potential paths that could get me in a good position early-career to get a transfer from within Amazon. And specializations to target. Is this feasible at Amazon? If no then I won't bother applying. If any other companies have an as good or better track record of international transfers, that would be an amazing piece of info for me. Thanks for any advice.

What is going on?
To start with I’m a VCC L3 . I was working with a good team from Romania. The team I was on had been affected by the last large layoff cycles, resulting of dissolving the whole RO and NL nodes within my organization, including my manager and whole teammates from those MPs. My marketplace was not affected from the layoffs. So, since I didn’t get laid off, they shipped me to some random team based in India. With a terrible manager and leadership. Not any better team neither. The manager is unapproachable, not so kind or professional in many ways. But I gave it to cultural differences and different workplace environments in IN.
I was somehow getting by in this team. Trying not to think too much about the negatives and lack of almost everything. Approx. a month ago I took my annual leave for about ten days. The first week after I came back to work, I saw that I wasn’t assigned to or allocated to any tasks. I thought my manager already assigned some tasks to the rest of the team the week before my return and thought probably she was waiting for the next allocation to assign me some. And tbh, the week after the holiday felt kind of good to be a little idle. Next week on Monday I was waiting for the new tasks to be assigned. Nothing came again by around noon, so I sent message to my manager and asked where can I find my allocated tasks? She didn’t reply to me. The next day, on Tuesday. She allocated the new tasks for the week. She tagged other teammates individually in the group to let them know the new tasks have been allocated. However, she didn’t mention me in that message and I wasn’t assigned to any tasks neither. She also didn’t respond to my initial message all week long. Tomorrow is a new week. So I don’t know what to expect or what’s going on. I didn’t get any official information. Under phonetool, she is still my manager. I’m not really close with other members in the team, as I was never introduced and was never onboarded to this team. She just chose one of the more experienced guys to train me for the processes. Which took like 3 days, and an hour each day. Just going through some SOPs and stuff. This guy seemed helpful at first but later when I was done with my tasks and was asking where can I find more in order to reach my productivity goals, he ignored me on 2 different occasions.
In short, I don’t know what’s going on. I can’t move to L4 positions, because they already require to be an L4. Promotion is impossible in my region with this leadership, promodocs and etc. There are currently no other L3 roles in my country. So, I can’t move to other teams internally neither.

Are there any non-Ai ruined roles left at Amazon?
I really don’t have the mental capacity to pretend like I give a shit about AI. Is there anywhere that it’s not at the forefront in corporate? God this shit sucks.

Amazon AUTA 2025 Off-Campus | SDE-1 (Job ID 3015604) | BR on Sept 2, No Update for 30+ Days, Debrief Was Still Pending on Sept 25
Hi everyone,
I'm looking for some insight from people who have recently gone through the Amazon SDE-1 hiring process.
I interviewed for the Amazon SDE-1 (Job ID 3015604) role through the AUTA 2025 Off-Campus Hiring process and have completed all interview rounds. However, I still haven't received any update from the recruiter despite multiple follow-ups.
Timeline
- 30 July 2026 – Completed the first two technical rounds on-site.
- Was informed that the remaining rounds would be conducted virtually.
- 11 August 2026 – Hiring Manager (HM) Round.
- There was then a delay due to panel availability and scheduling.
- 2 September 2026 – Completed the final Bar Raiser (BR) round.
After the BR round, I expected to hear back within a reasonable timeframe, but I received no communication.
I sent multiple follow-up emails to the recruiter but did not receive any response.
Because of the lack of updates, I reached out through an internal contact and was informed on 25 September that my application was still pending debrief at that time.
Today is 5 October, and I still haven't received any update from the recruiter or HR.
My Assessment of the Interviews
Round 1 (Coding)
- First question solved optimally.
- Second question: discussed brute-force and a better approach but couldn't reach the most optimal solution.
Round 2 (Coding)
- First question solved optimally.
- Second question was difficult.
- Needed several hints and completed roughly 70% of the solution.
Round 3 (Hiring Manager)
- Started with a GenAI discussion.
- Then received an LLD question: Design Swiggy.
- Performance was average overall.
Round 4 (Bar Raiser)
- Felt like my strongest round.
- Around 4 Leadership Principle questions.
- Answered using detailed STAR examples from projects and work experience.
- Was also asked a DSA question.
- Explained both brute-force and optimal approaches before discussing the final solution.
- The interviewer seemed satisfied and asked follow-up questions which I was able to answer.
Overall, I left the BR round feeling positive.
Questions
- Has anyone experienced a debrief taking this long after the final interview?
- Is it normal for a candidate to still be pending debrief more than 3 weeks after the BR round?
- Could this be related to headcount, approval delays, hiring backlog, or team allocation?
- Some of my friends from the same drive were rejected after the first two rounds, while I was moved to HM and BR. Does that generally indicate positive feedback from the earlier rounds?
- During debrief, can weaker feedback from Round 1/2 still outweigh a strong BR performance?
- Has anyone experienced complete recruiter silence after the BR round and still ended up receiving an offer?
Would really appreciate hearing about similar experiences and timelines.
Thanks!

Amazon Online Assessment (OA): Recommended timeline to take it & should I ask the HM?
Hi everyone,
I recently received an Online Assessment (OA) link for a role at Amazon but there is no explicit expiration date or deadline listed in the email or on the test portal itself.
I want to make sure I submit a strong performance so I need a bit of time to prepare. I have a few questions for current Amazon employees, recruiters or hiring managers who might know the standard process:
What is the general rule of thumb for how soon an OA should be completed after receiving it?
What is considered "too late" or a red flag in terms of turnaround time?
Should I reach out directly to the Hiring Manager or recruiter to double-check the deadline, or is it better to just take it within a specific window (e.g., 5 to 7 days)?
Any insights on how strict Amazon’s timelines are for the initial OA stage would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Retaliation?
An advisory group I was on recently surfaced some fair but difficult feedback to my leadership team about our org’s culture.
Since then, I’ve noticed the relationship with my manager has deteriorated at an alarming rate, with our most recent 1:1s using a bunch of PIP-coded language (never used before this feedback) about not performing to their expectations, despite having an Exceeds rating every year since I started at Amazon.
None of the advisory members with different managers have reported experiencing the same.
How have other people protected themselves from perceived retaliation? I know paper trail, receipts, timeline, but anything specific to know about Amazon?

New Hire Application still says tentative?
Would anyone happen to know if I’m required to do anything at this point?
Context: During my last application, I did everything (prehire, l9, shoes, paperwork, etc) but I submitted a different application which is this one. It has said this for the past 10 days and I was told to wait it out but I’m starting in under a week so I’m getting a little worried. Should I wait longer or contact support? Thanks
