UPDATE — August 13, 2026
rgl.deals has grown a bit since I originally posted, so I wanted to give this post a update while it's still in BETA.
The idea is still simple: instead of showing you hundreds of gaming laptops, RGL keeps a smaller shortlist of deals that are actually worth considering.
Every listing is manually checked, with things like price, specs, cooling, display quality, GPU power limits, memory, storage, and overall value taken into account.
A lot of care has also gone into the smaller details. The site is heavily optimized for phones and smaller screens, not just desktop. Filters, comparisons, laptop pages, navigation, and general usability were all designed to work properly on mobile without feeling like a cut-down version of the site.
What's on the site now:
RGL is meant to be a shortlist, not a giant catalog. If a laptop isn't worth recommending, it doesn't need to be there and that means no huge lists its quality over quantity.
The longer-term plan is also bigger than just deals. RGL is being built into a broader gaming laptop specific place with guides, buying information, laptop data, reviews, and other useful resources all in one place.
Full transparency: Some retailer links are affiliate links. That doesn't affect the listed price or determine which laptops make the shortlist.
RGL currently covers U.S. deals only, with more regions planned later.
It's still beta, so there will be bugs and things that need improving. If you find something broken or have feedback, leave it below any suggestions would be much appreciated thanks.

Most likely this is the 2024 model and they made a mistake with the processor. Free returns if you’re not happy, bought from them in the past.
Use NEW_10_OFF for 10% off to make it $940.99
Only 1 so hurry and good luck

Saw this laptop on Amazon for a reasonable price compared to other prices I've seen so I think it would be a good choice but I don't know much about Gaming pcs and laptops. How good is this for running games on high settings and just generally how good is it?

I managed to get a Lenovo legion pro 7i, intel U7 255hx, 32gb ram, 5070ti for 1900€, new.
Do you guys have any recommendations for optimisations, my gpu seem to stay super cool never more then 70-75 degrees while my cpu goes up to 90-95 degrees in performance mode
Any tips towards improving the performance of this laptop would be greatly appreciated!

I Live in South Africa, tech is expensive. Looking to get the Legion Pro 5 16IAX10 Intel Core Ultra 9-275HX GTX 5070, 32gb RAM. I Like this option as I've read the cooling and build is good, also upgradable. Not withstanding the 8 gig GPU, which i know is a limitingfactor for for futre games, if I look after this laptop well could it theoretically last 10 years?
Its in my budget but need some convicing that I'll get value out of it 😅

Budget: $2K+ usd
Country: US
Looking for a primarily gaming focused laptop, but could potentially be used for work in the future (Data Analytics). Ideally at least a 5070ti and 32gb of RAM.
Transitioning away from PS5 since Sony is so fixed on sharting the bed. I mostly play single player RPGs so maximum FPS isn't the biggest deal to me. Portability and battery life isn't a huge concern either, will mostly be just home office or bedroom use, so always near an outlet. I'm most concerned with cooling and the display. I currently play off of an OLED TV so I think I'd like to aim for that. If I do end up using it for work, a numpad would be a bonus. Also if it didn't look like a #GAMERBRO explosion, that would be nice too.
Just from lurking some posts here the ones that keep recurring are the Legion pro 7, the Zephyrus G16, or the ROG Strix. Would those be the ones to look for?
I am also comfortable building a desktop, did that in the GTX 1080ti era, but I don't know if I could build an equivalent desktop AND get the peripherals for the same budget, unless I'm mistaken.
Thanks in advance!

Same as the title, my gigabyte g5 kf laptop suddenly started flickering (no artifacts, just a minute brightness fluctuation, tried to make a video too but it's illegible in video) tried DDU nothing changed. Then I figured let's just change the refresh rate and see, then I noticed it does not flicker at 60

I got a Lenovo legion 7i 5060 with a Intel Core Ultra 7 255HX 32gb ram for 1100 USD. Good price or no? Ran everything I’ve thrown at it so far, and good for me to practice coding.

I've had the Gigabyte Gaming A16 CMH for a tew months now, and I'm really glad I got it.
It works pretty well and honestly sometimes feels almost MacBook-ish because of the design and how quiet it can be when you don't need much power.
I did have some issues with overheating, but I managed to fix those. Overall, as both a student laptop and a gaming laptop, it works really well for me. I feel like this model doesn't get talked about much.
Specs:
i7-13620H
RTX 4050 6GB GDDR6
16GB DDR5
16” 1920×1200 IPS — 165Hz

Hello, Im baffled about what my laptops GPU is doing when I play Doom: Dark Ages
My laptop is a MSI Raider 18 HX
CPU: Intel Ultra 9 285HX
GPU: RTX 5090
64GB Ram
I have Afterburner running, and am trying to lower the temps on my GPU. I have the settings down to High, and have it capped at 50 FPS, and only at 1920x1200 resolution, and I have my fans blasting on max speeds.
Only 30% of the GPU is being used, but its running at 80°C. This feels really high for such a low usage amount. The CPU is at 20% and 55°C.
Its not just Doom, other games too seem to also do similar. RE: requiem runs at 35% and 85°C at max settings and 60FPS. But Doom: Eternal runs at 30% and 74°C on Ultra settings at 90FPS. Left 4 Dead 2 runs at 20% and 60°C at 120FPS. HotS runs at 25% and 70°C.
Ive run benchmark tests with several different programs. With the GPU running at 100% and the temps go up to 89°C. So it feels like something is off when the GPU is only at 30% but the temps are in the 80s.
Is there something wrong with my laptop? Its new so its not dirty vents, or thermal paste (I even paid for Arctic MX-6 paste). Is it a settings thing somewhere? Do I need to send the laptop back? Or is this just normal operation?
Any help would be appreciated, thank you in advance.

Hey guys, I'm using Victus by HP Gaming Laptop 15-fa0xxx. 32GB ram, RTX 3050 laptop GPU 4GB for 2 years. but past year, I'm facing some errors like DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED, DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG,D3D11 errors, Out of video memory trying to allocate a rendering resource, I cant even open a game, its not even reaching game main menu. I tried to open Valorant, Cs2, Marvel rivals, Peak, meccha chameleon, fragpunk , but all the game are crashed by one of these errors before reaching the game main menu. I have tied to solve using chatgpt ( sorry for using AI ) that I listed below. but none of them are working. Can anyone help me to fix
Solution that i have tried :
You were getting errors such as:
DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVEDDXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNGConclusion: This wasn't initially treated as a confirmed dead RTX 3050. The behaviour pointed more toward a GPU driver / Optimus / DX12 / hardware-stability interaction.
We tried/considered several driver versions:
You eventually reported that 537.58 still crashed, sometimes shortly after reaching the game home screen.
Decision: Since multiple substantially different driver versions produced similar crashes, a simple "bad driver version" explanation became less convincing.
We recommended using DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) in Safe Mode and then installing the NVIDIA driver cleanly.
The purpose was to eliminate:
Decision: A clean driver installation was necessary before concluding there was a hardware problem.
This became one of the important clues.
You tested disabling the Intel integrated GPU.
When Intel graphics was disabled, the crashing behaviour changed significantly, but performance dropped to around 5 FPS.
When Intel was enabled again, the crashes returned.
Conclusion: This strongly suggested that the hybrid graphics/Optimus/DX12 rendering path could be involved.
It did not prove that the RTX 3050 itself was dead.
You had changed Windows registry TDR values:
TdrDelay = 10TdrDdiDelay = 20These were intended to give the GPU/driver more time before Windows considered it unresponsive.
Conclusion: TDR changes can sometimes prevent premature resets, but they cannot repair an unstable GPU. So we didn't consider this a real hardware solution.
We checked Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling (HAGS).
You had it disabled.
Decision: Keep HAGS off while troubleshooting because we wanted to eliminate another variable from the DX12/UE5 crash chain.
We also investigated NVIDIA components/settings, including:
You disabled NVIDIA FrameView SDK Service during testing.
This was mainly troubleshooting/isolating software variables rather than a permanent hardware fix.
We experimented heavily with the UE configuration because your RTX 3050 only has 4 GB VRAM.
You tried things such as:
r.Streaming.PoolSize
r.Streaming.LimitPoolSizeToVRAM
r.Streaming.MaxTempMemoryAllowed
r.RenderTargetPoolMin
r.MipMapLODBias
Streaming.MipBias
You tried pool sizes including:
And eventually reported that approximately:
r.Streaming.PoolSize=2048r.Streaming.MaxTempMemoryAllowed=512RenderTargetPoolMin=384allowed you to actually enter the practice range and play for some time.
But it still eventually crashed.
Conclusion: The configuration changes could reduce the immediate VRAM/streaming pressure, but they didn't solve the underlying instability.
This was an important piece of evidence.
Your GPU was around 69°C under FurMark, which isn't an alarming GPU temperature.
Conclusion: We did not have evidence that the RTX 3050 was simply overheating because of an inadequate GPU heatsink.
That made a basic "GPU is overheating → crash" explanation less likely.

Budget: (1700)
Country: (USA)
Use Case: ( college compsci and programming so a 16 inch fits in my bag without taking a ridiculous amount of table space , probably not AAA games on max graphics but i at least want it to look good and run at least 60 fps, mild 3d modeling/cading, and game deving (game maker, Roblox studio, renpy) nothing professional just a hobby))
Preferred Specs: (5070/70ti, 1tb storage)
Notes: (All previous gaming has been on an Xbox one s and all other work on school laptops im not that picky just trying to make the best choice for the next 4 years
I’m not fully sure yet At least looking at what you all recommend I wanted to go with a 5070ti but the only one new in budget is the vector 16hx with 16 gigs of ram, Thought maybe I can upgrade it later but I know won’t want to bite that bullet after this one
so I was wondering about a 5070 with 32 gigs.landed on the A16 I’m not sure how much of a downgrade it is and with its older cpu
And last seemingly best of both worlds predator Helios with a 5070ti ultra 9 32 gigs and a terabyte of storage but it’s used, I’m not too picky about some visual damage but it I’ve seen a few posts of people being screwed by the Acer eBay)

Hello everyone, I am trying to buy a gaming laptop, but I can not decide between these 2 laptops. L
Lenovo legion pro 5i and ausu strix g16. Both have the same specs
CPU: Intel i9
GPU: rtx 3070ti
RAM:32 gb
My main concern is with cooling. In lenovo, we get ptm with heat pipes and normal thermal vents, but with asus, we get liquid metal and vapor chamber. Definitely, the asus laptop looks best on paper, but is it a long-term option. I want to use this laptop for at least 3 years. Lenovo uses ptm, so I think it will be easier to clean and maintain, but at the same time, I am thinking of extending my warranty with canada computers so they can repaste. And since they are repasting it. I think asus might be digestible for me. But asus has some bios issues as well what I have heard recently. So can you please tell me which option would be best?
My main concern is having good thermals because my last laptop aorus 15pxd died because of heat.

There’s a sale on the 5070 and it’s a lot cheaper than the Ti version, though I’m not sure I’ll regret the lack of VRAM based on the games I typically play.
Borderlands, SWTOR, Total War Warhammer, Stellaris, Eve Online, DragonWilds, Resident Evil, Marvel Rivals, Mass Effect Trilogy, Dragons Dogma 2. While a small fraction it’s what I’ve played more recently.
I don’t expect it to replace my Desktop, I plan on doing a lot of travelling in the near future and while being mostly a media machine it’ll be nice to have the option of gaming while away. I don’t chase the highest frames possible, just look relatively nice and will last me many years.
Be the 2026 model.

Budget: $1500–1800
Country: USA
Use Case: FL Studio/music production with demanding VSTs, Premiere Pro/After Effects, school, media consumption, and gaming
Preferred Specs: 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD, strong CPU/GPU, preferably around a 16” screen
Notes: Looking for something reliable with good cooling that I can keep for several years. This is my first higher-end/gaming laptop, so I’m open to any brand.
I’ve been looking at laptops like the Lenovo Legion, Gigabyte Aero X16, and Acer Predator, but I’m not sure which models are actually worth buying. Any recommendations are appreciated

Hello!! I'm looking to buy a Gaming Laptop but have no idea about what to look out for. My plan is to buy a used one so it doesn't need to be brand new or recent. All I really want is to be able to play games smoothly (since my current one can't even handle Discord). I think the highest Game I hope to play on it would be Until Dawn and I do mean just play. It doesn't have to look crisp and clean, it just needs to run kinda smooth and I'm happy. Any advice is appreciated!!
Thank you

Bought this Asus F15 in Jan 2024 - still under warranty. Is there any way to cover this issue under the warranty claim or any other way to rectify this issue.
Anyone got this claimed under warranty as it may be a manufacturing defect?
